Over price, over treatment for money for ticks and fleas in the winter time? Really!! Took my puppy in for booster shot that you can buy for 15.00, cost me 130.00 for the vist!! Not again!!

Warning!! If you take your pet here they will make you leave your pet and you are unable to go inside. Make sure your pet has the Bordetella shot before dropping them off. Our dog contracted kennel cough from leaving him here. What a nightmare. Was out of state when things got really bad and had the dog with me. If your dog is not in good health or older it can be dangerous if not treated with antibiotics quickly. I felt they owed me the Vet emergency room visit fee due to their fault in this manner. Die to their lack of concern, I would not recommend this place.

This place just doesn’t care about animals. Please go somewhere else.

We have been going to Ranchwood for years. They are always friendly and helpful. Prices are good and they provide almost every service we need (not emergency room after hours). We even take our dogs there for grooming.

Called to get refill on my dogs RX last week. Message said closed from the 10th thru the 19th. Would reopen on the 20th. It is now the 23rd. They are still not open. No one has returned my call. Obviously they haven't even checked their messages. My dog has been without medication for well over a week. I can't even get his records to go somewhere else nor can I use the online refill because RX has to be verified and no one is returning calls. They definitely don't care about your pet. Before they closed that long they didn't notify customers. They could have easily sent out a mass email or something.

Not professionals poor quality work I would not take my pet there. Staff not friendly. Make sure the person treating your pet is actually a veterinarian because this place is known to hire pleople that do not know what they are doing.

Good service, but a little on the pricey side. I go because it's conveniently located near my house.

If I could give zero stars I would. First let me start by saying my dog was only being boarded at Ranchwood. She was not there to receive any kind of veterinary services and they did not have permission to treat my dog while she was there. The only communication we received while she was there(for only 2 nights) was a voicemail that she had some kind of reaction to something and she was stressed out(and the dr later admitted that she didn’t have an allergic reaction to anything-she has fatty nodules-which she has had for some time). They gave her an injection and that was that- the dr said he was just trying to keep us in the loop. We were out of town with a family emergency and weren’t able to get back with the vet-we didn’t even realize they had called until after they were closed for the day. Fast forward to the next day when we go to pick her up and we find out they have put our dog through the wringer! Dr McNeal submitted our dog to a full barrage of medical testing(again without consent) because wait for it...she was PANTING! This is an inside dog that’s used to being in a 68 degree house who was being boarded at a kennel. Newsflash-dogs pant when they’re hot! But it gets better... Not only did they do unapproved scans of her heart(which the doctor would not show us). But they fully sedated, catheterized, and fed her intravenously because in the doctors words-she was stressed out and panting. And remember all of this was done without our consent. So to say that we are upset with Dr McNeal would be an understatement. We will NEVER bring any of our animals to this vet again!

The receptionists are always friendly but dr McNeil is ALL about the money. I think we're going to switch to a place who seems a little more sincere about the care of our dog rather than always trying to make a buck at every turn.

Just want your money, rude, and unprofessional. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!! If I could give them no stars I would!

Used Ranchwood for boarding, it progressively got worse and communication was awful with office closures. They stopped allowing Sunday pick ups, would close early and not tell you. Caregiving started to seem questionable.

OVER PRICED, rude receptionists, and you have to bring your dog in for every little thing, just as scandalous as going to a doctors office.

The male vet suggested putting my dog down because he had a torn ACL. We refused and allowed our dog to heal, which he did just fine. The other vets are nice and good to our dogs, but the guy that wanted to kill my dog isn't. He is also the reason that they will not fax prescriptions to online pharmacies, because he wants us to buy from him. This means I am left to mail in the script, which is counter-intuitive to ordering online. This place is expensive to boot. We are going to use another vet from now on.

Wonderful Vet! Our pup loves going and seeing Dr. Boone. Even when he was very ill with pancreatitis, he tail would wag to see her!

The first place our little girl went was to see Dr. McNeal for puppy check up. It was a wonderful experience for us and for her. The entire staff is great and made us feel like Julia was the most important patient every time she had appointments.

Love my Vets & the Staff!!! They treat my Chihuahua boys like family. Their awesome, some might say they’re a bit pricey. Good service and care is worth for our furry family members.

Excellent care...the only place I will take my pet. The staff is great as well as the doctors. I received 3 phone calls after my Yorkie had surgery....2 from staff and 1 from the doctor to update me on the procedure. I would highly recommend.

They did a great job repairing bite damage to my dog which was from a coyote. They're a little expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I'm not a good writer but here goes. We put my Golden down last November at Ranchwood. I got a new pup a month later but wanted to wait a little bit before going back to Ranchwood because i was tore up over my Golden. I tried another popular local vet. New pup was shaking his head, scratching his ears and they stunk. Took him to the other vet. They took a quick look at his ears and said they were fine. Gave me some flush and sent us home. After 3 weeks with little improvement i took him to Ranchwood. They swabbed both ears and checked for infection. He had ear infections. After only one day on antibiotics he is doing much better. They are awesome at Ranchwood. Great people that care and will take the time to do it right.

Took my puppy there and was told I need to take her to eye doctor to get a procedure done because of the extra skin. After healing I took her back for her exam and the Male vet messed with her eyes and undone the procedure by pulling on the eyes. Straight negligence because he was fully aware of the procedure because hes the one who sent me to the eye dr. Costed me about 300 out of my pocket and my puppy lots of pain. Foolishy we brought my puppy and other dog back today because they were the only vets familiar with a allergy shot we get the larger one. We made it clear they only needed the shot. 2 hours later they called and tried charging us $689 for a bunch of unnecessary stuff. Lady vet this time was very condescending and made it clear the dogs needs are more important than my pocket book. These people are crooks. They are like the mechanics who charge thousands for a 3 dollar part. Everything I said is 100 percent the truth and I definitely want to warn other people. They've costed me atleast 300 from damaging my dogs eyes and up charges the 3 previous times. I swallowed my pride on the previous situations but this one was the straw that broke the camel's back. Please rip my file up and if you contact me it only better be for compensation

Absolutely love this Vet! Dr. McNeal has a great bedside manner while still delievering scientfic and understandable medical explanations. Him and his staff have gone above and beyond when we've said goodbye to a furry family member, been open to lengthy conversations and reactive in our emergency situations. Highly recommend!
