I am writing this both as a former employee as well as a former client. I have known “Doc” as I and many others call her; for most of my life, as she was my grandmothers vet and very good friend… I used to go to the vet when my grandmother had to take her dog in and from there Doc began to teach me a lot of things as was relevant to my age, she never accepted disrespect from me and would check me when I pushed too far with my grandmother, once I was a teenager Doc allowed me to work in her clinic , but only if I was keeping my grades where she felt were appropriate… this woman taught me the foundation of my now career… i would not be a successful Veterinary Technician (vet nurse) and emergency department lead working in emergency and critical care if she had not been my mentor. Doc instilled a lot of things from manners to self respect in me but most of all my passion for what I do. Veterinarians do not make near what they are worth, so it’s easy to say all go into this because they have a love for our furry counterparts however… this statement is absolute where Dr. Johnson is involved. I promise you, take your animals to her and you will see a woman who loves what she does, her patients and clients… and who will do everything in her power to help. You’re not just a patient Or a client or an employee at Peppertree.. you become family.

I have a sweet girl who has had chronic issues with uti's and this vet not only squeezed me into a busy schedule but also took the time to educate me on preventative things I can do that no other vet provided. 100% my new vet

Went with a friend who's dog had seen several vets to try and determine what was wrong! Outstanding service! Personal time was taken with pet and human. They genuinely chose this profession out of love for animals. I as a pet owner would encourage you to choose them as the best available for all your pet needs! On 6/12 I made an appointment for my 8 year old cat! Point blank animal loving friends if you take your furamily anywhere else (other than an emergency) to these wonderful dedicated people who chose this profession as a result of their passion to give the best possible care to your animals you just made a colossal boo-boo. I'm not sure I can adequately communicate to you how much of a positive experience this was! I am moving across country in a couple of months and I asked if I could still consider Dr. Cheryl as my vet! I am blessed she said yes! I already feel better about the move knowing she will there for my animals and I! Don't waste the opportunity to go to the best!!

Our first experience here was an emergency visit after my big boy ate a whole bag of chocolate chips! I called them cause they were the first thing that came up on Google and they asked very specific and important questions right off the bat and immediately made me feel like I could trust them to help my baby. And they did! They took us and were sooo good to him! We've since been back with all 3 of our dogs and Dr. Johnson and Mark were just as overly kind as they were the time before. I really can't say enough good things about this place and these people. I'm so grateful to have found them for our sweet babies! This will definitely be our new vet home! ❤️

Pepper Tree Vet Clinic went above and beyond on my recent visit. I went to get my cat vaccinated, but Dr. Johnson went the extra mile. She cleaned my cat's eyes, clipped her nails, and showed me how to do each of these tasks. She even gave me an extensive list of preventative measures I can take to keep my cat healthy. I walked away with a personal relationship with the people at Peppertree Vet Clinic. Take your pets there - they genuinely do care!

I will definitely be going back for all my fur baby needs they made me feel like family! I left with hugs for multiple staff members if it wasn't for doc my poor baby wouldn't have made it highly recommend

I’ve come to this vet for about a year and they’re the only vet I go to. I usually don’t have any problems but for some reason all of a sudden both the owners started attacking me and cursing at me and yelling at me for absolutely no reason. I can not recommend this place any longer. This place is awful. You cannot talk to people like this and continue to keep their business.

Anyone who leaves a poor review is seriously mistaken! I have never encountered this level of professionalism and kindness anywhere, ever! I’m active duty military and traveling from my previous duty station in Arizona to upstate, NY with a very unhappy cat. Normally under the circumstances I’d be given the cold shoulder, or bluntly told to go elsewhere. Not in this case, they were willing to go above and beyond to help. I am grateful beyond words, and I hope everyone in the local area recognizes this gem. Your pets will never have a more caring provider.

Dr. Johnson is a wonderful veterinarian who not only takes time to do what is best for your furr baby but gives you great advice on how to take the best care of your family member. She is very thorough with her exams and does not just rush through. She and her husband are extremely professional and pleasant. Very thankful for them and the great job they do for my pets!

Been going to Dr. J for 10 plus years and she has been fantastic. Recently brought my girlfriends dogs to her after multiple visits to their vet for a problem that they have been having that were ruled off as upset stomac . Dr J found the issue and our animals behavior has changed totally after being diagnosed correctly. If there were a bar to set for vets, Dr J and Mark are the pinnacle of what all vets should strive to be.

Dr Johnson and her husband Mark were amazing with us and our sick baby boy. She took time to educate us and show us how to do things to help our lil man at home. She is amazing. Our new vet 100% will recommend her to everyone.

Best veterinarian I have ever been to! Dr. Johnson really understands the fact that pets are family. I took my pup in for a procedure, and she comforted and educated me every step of the way. She is extremely easy to get in touch with, and always welcomes questions. Prices are amazing, especially for a vet that really cares!
