We love everyone at Main St Vet Hospital! They are always so wonderful and caring. You can tell they love what they do, from the receptionists to all the staff and doctors. Our fur baby family has gone here for 15 years, and with 4 pups. They've helped us through issues with glands, regular care, paw injuries and more. We just can't say enough good things!

Safely carries out exams, boarding, medication needs, in a timely manner .Pleasant and very competent staff. Your animal babies will love them.

My cat has had some really really bad vet experiences and the people here were wonderful. It's super clean and calm. The vet and tech did such a great job with my fur baby and listened to my concerns. They made sure it wasn't more stressful than it needed to be and that he was well taken care of with treats and love. I will definitely be making this our go to vet. The wait was about a week but it's understandable since all the vets in Norman are booked for weeks out. They happen to be able to get my cat in the earliest. Thank you all for a great experience.

I have absolutely nothing but wonderful things to say about Main Street. Both of my pups are elderly - and, sometimes aging can be stressful in itself. I brought my little Harley in last week and she was treated so well. I love Main Street Vets.....all of the doctors and staff are always so nice and helpful. I also LOVE the new location. Congrats on the move!

I used to take my dogs here for all their care but will never waste time calling them again. Every time, including emergency for my baby, there is no appointment available. There should be a window reserved daily for emergency situations, just as there is at a human primary care physician. It’s no longer about the love and care of helping a pet who needs immediate care like it used to be. By the way, my schnauzer died today because she could not get immediate emergency care.

Both of my doodles have been patients here for a couple of years and this morning I called because my nine year old had injured his ankle and could not walk and needed to be seen but was basically blown off and told it would be a week or more before he could be seen. I thought that is why we developed a relationship as patients with vets? The website clearly brags on the ability to handle emergency situations but clearly not the situation. I guess I will be looking for a new vet.

I am very disappointed in Main Street Vet. They use to be a very good vet but I am not sure what has happened to them. The last two times my dogs have been sick or hurt they could not get them in for almost a week. They told me to just go to an emergency vet clinic. What are vets for if they don't treat their sick or hurt patients during business hours. I do not recommend.

This hospital is a joke. I paid $570 for my dog to get an echocardiogram, I was told it would take a couple of hours to do, 2 hours and 40 minutes later I called to check on my dog and was told they had just finished and would call me back soon. An hour later I had enough and went up there to pick up my dog, they finally brought her out 4 hours after I dropped her off and then told me it was a misunderstanding after the vet and staff member told me it would be two hours. THEN I was told multiple times it would take a day or two to get the report back- I even have a voice mail from the main vet saying she would call me in a day or two, it’s been 3 days so I called and was told I wouldn’t get it until Monday, I got the echo done here because my dog needs her medication for her pulmonary hypertension adjusted ASAP, not when it’s continent for the vets do the service I already paid for. I will never bring my dogs back here.

Super friendly and responsive staff! I got off work late a couple times and they were still able to get my fur baby in. My dog is also usually nervous and they were super sweet with her!

Appreciate all the care they have given my dog and education they have given me.

The level of care and treatment at this facility is top notch. We had a very sick cat (named Fish ????). A lesser veterinarian probably would have recommended we put him to sleep. Dr. Shafer-Ray, her colleagues, and staff were able to turn Fish around and he made a full recovery. He’s happy, healthy, and 8 lives left thanks to the folks here! I can’t recommend them enough. I’ve taken all my cats and dogs here. I have family coming in this weekend from Ohio and they’re bringing their cat so he can get treated here. They are THAT good! Absolutely excellent vet and staff!!

After moving to Norman last summer with two elderly kitty babies, my female was in need of several visits and since it was during the pandemic she saw different doctors. In the end I had to bring her in all of a sudden and Dr. Shafer-Ray was so kind and offered different options but too many of my kitty's problems were overlapping meaning that she would not recover, so we decided to let her go to sleep. Her kindness and empathy was very comforting.

Vet is good. Terrible customer service. Poor experience

I have been taking my dog here for several years and both the vet, Dr. Sara Brown, and the staff are wonderful. They are very knowledgable, friendly, and very sweet to my pet. I can tell they love animals. I had every question of mine answered completely. I am very happy with this vet.

My pet recently passed away. They were very compassionate and wonderful job on his footprint. Would highly recommendthem for anything pet related.

If I could give no stars I would. I had my dog spayed there and they stitched her up with cattle stitching. It’s very thick wiring that has to be removed in 7-10 days. They should have used glue or internal dissolving stitches. It was uncomfortable and she would not leave it alone and kept coming open. I had to take her to another vet to completely remove the stitching and do internal dissolving stitches and had no further complications.

Treated our pet with respect and professionalism. Also kept communication open

As a member of the health care industry. I greatly appreciate the knowledge and compassion provided for my old gal. Dr. Rowland was logical, thorough, and showed enthusiasm while caring for my dog. Thank you!

I have been using Main Street Vet for nearly 15 years. They have taken care of my fur baby I lost and fur babies I have adopted. I trust not only the doctors but the staff (especially Stephanie!) as well. Any time one of my fur babies has been sick or had surgery they ALWAYS follow up with me to make sure everything is ok.

They are awesome I only got my cat fixed but they also let me know any other concerns which I never expected if I ever need to go to a vet this place will be it

I spent a lot of time trying to find Dr. Sara Brown and was so happy to once again have her to treat my babies. She is very pleasant and very knowledgeable. Haven't got to meet the rest of the staff yet but they seem very nice over the phone.

I so love the vets and vet techs at this clinic. Highly recommend!

I love bringing my dogs here! We've been coming here for the last few years and they have been nothing but professional and caring. Not only is the service always phenomenal but they've always been able to get my pups in pretty quickly. 10/10 would recommend.
