Very knowledgeable veterinarians and assistants. We actually drive in from 39 minutes away because we trust then enough.

The doctor and nurse were very friendly and professional. Your receptionist is another story. I arrived 14 minutes early not knowing I had to wait until 5 minutes before my appointment, and she sasses me for being too early by stating “I can’t check you until 5 til.” But with a very rude attitude about it. Than as I’m paying the bill and leaving, I say thank you, and she responds with “YUP.” I wasn’t the only customer I seen her get yippy with. I understand we’re human, and have bad days, but leave it at the door please.11/22.21

The front desk workers are absolutely disrespectful and rude, especially Casey. She was extremely insensitive when my kitten unexpectedly passed away, and was rude to us every appointment before that. Would recommend another vet before choosing Banfield, they also overcharge for kitten/puppy plans even after agreeing on the RIGHT price beforehand. Looked at card charges and was getting charged for a senior dog plan, for my 5 month old kitten.

So far they have not done me wrong or my animals Personal: my puppy died when I took her to the vet and they mailed a signed card by all the staff members and gave up a stone with her name it I thought it was really nice

Friendly staff and great people. Rather you have an emergency, need vaccinations or just need a manicure for the dog.

i spoke to parker after i called and said i was going to be late due to traffic 15 mins before my appointment and they said i had 15 mins past my time. i showed up right on the dot and parker was very aggressively rude telling me they would not see her even tho my dog had a gash on her leg. when i called to ask for her name and supervisor she was very rude and had a terrible tone

Very disappointed in the quality of care of this place. My dog had been going to them since a puppy but his last checkup was a terrible experience for us. First of all the “nurse” taking him back was dragging him back and showed she did not care or liked animals. My dog was sick for days after his appointment, Like he had been given the wrong doses and not the proper care. They also trimmed his nails and hurt him in multiple areas. I will not be returning to this place and do NOT recommend. Thankfully his health plan was about to renew so I was able to cancel and take my dog to a better place.

This review is for the Norman location only. The banefield vets at this location are not that nice. I called to make an appt and asked about a free checkup for my dog. I told the lady who made the appt that we had been to another location but it had been years since their last visit. I asked if the visit was still free and she said yes. She even looked up he's chart. My daughters got there and after they saw my dog. They were told it'll cost us $45 plus tax. Gave no helpful advice on helping my dog, except to offer a lot of expensive tests and x-rays. Later when I asked about getting an iv for fluids, they took 5 hours to reply, offered to sell it to me for $70 (a friend told me her vet charged her $20, last year) and told us that she doubted it would work but we could give it a try. They were so cold about the whole thing. I will never take my dog here (Norman location) again. My dog ended up dying from dehydration.

The people at Banfield treat my pets like they are their own.

When my dog was so bad and sick, I called them to ask her to get her schedule on the day. But they don't have any. And I told them my dog was very hard to breathe in and ask any available room for her. They said I needed to wait for three days. Or they recommend me to go to ER for her.. I explained we have her wellness plan at banfield. But my dog needed to wait for three days. And she died the next day after I called them. I really want them to have one or two available rooms on their schedule for just in case like my dog. Furthermore I need to pay $63.90 more to cancel her wellness plan to finish the contract after she died. I do not want use this wellness plan anymore even though I have a chance any other pets with me in the future. I paid a lot for over ten years. But I could not use this plan when my pet really needed it. And she died without any treatment from this hospital. I am so so so sad....

When our dog was sick, we could not get him scheduled until 6 days later. I'm glad we opted to see a local Vet, who saw our dog within 24 hours and got him treated. Our dog would have suffered severely or even died if we waited until an appointment is available here. This place has no problem charging us for the monthly wellness plan ($55/month), just could not treat our dog when needed. Also, I think they inflated the treatment prices so as to make their wellness plan look attractive. The local vet we saw, who was responsive, did not charge nearly as much. I would suggest to stay away from this commercially run place and opt for a local vet who cares about animals.

Love this pet hospital. The pet nurses & vet are so nice to my doggie. Patient with her, because she is 12 years old, scared & she shakes continuously while at vet. The pet hospital is nice. Warm. Welcoming. Plus the other doggies that were waiting to be seen are nice, friendly & well mannered. Vet & pet nurses are thorough. Follow pet plan. Give needed allergy, pain & tick/flea medications. If a concern arises, I have the opportunity to email, chat or call re: issue. Pet hospital is attached to pet smart plus they have on site grooming. I recommend Banfield Pet Hospital to everyone who is a doggie parent.

They don't tell you when you sign up for the Wellness Plan that if the pet passes, you will OWE THEM THE REMAINING YEAR of said Wellness Plan. After telling my significant other that our cat's chances of survival were low, misdiagnosing him (we got a second opinion) and leaving her in tears, they very casually charged her ~$300 and let her leave WITHOUT a printed, itemized bill. Don't treat someone's pet like a product.

Quick, next day appointment, very professional but caring and gentle, prices and procedures were discussed before they were done. I wasn't able to be present during my dogs examination or speak face to face with the vet, but I spoke to them on the phone, and was allowed to stay on premises during the exam. Overall, very pleased with the experience.

I had the plan for multiple years with two dogs. While the staff were always friendly, I have a lot of problems with Banfield, and I will never go back. First, I've been trying to cancel for over a year. I keep getting told it is taken care of, or will once the contract is up for the year, but then what a surprise! Another year! Secondly, when my dog was extremely, extremely sick, I was told I could bring her in for the day, but I'd have to pick her up before they closed regardless of the fact she was sick and taking her home would probably have killed her. It was over a two day stay at an actual vet clinic that cares about animals. I'll go to a vet that doesn't keep charging in backhanded ways, and one who cares if my dog lives.
