I was very grateful for Holly Wilson the veterinarian at Beaver's Animal Hospital and her assistant, I felt fortunate that Lawton Oklahoma has the best Veterinarian for the larger animals, Horses/cattle ect. & Holly Wilson still made house calls. She was sensitive when it came to euthanizing our beloved horse sugar. The fees are a lot lower than compared to other clinics around. Thank you Holly Wilson for all the care you have given to our Horses over the past 20yrs.

Beavers Animal Hospital is always great. Doc really loves the animals and her job. She hires great staff and has reasonable prices. Won't trust my animals with anyone else.

I am disappointed by my experiences at this clinic. I appreciate Dr. Wilson for her practice, but her lack of interpersonal skills completely degrade from her ability to use any veterinary skills and knowledge. I’ve had three professional interactions with Beavers Clinic, and at each one, Dr Wilson seemed bothered by shaking my hand at the beginning and end of each appointment. I think this indicates how she runs her business. I felt that she did not inform me of all the critical information necessary to make important decisions for my animals. 1) She wanted me to drop a lot of money in her clinic to treat a proposed neurological disease, EPM, that my horse was not suffering from. She proposed EPM when I took the horse in for a second opinion lameness evaluation. I decided to go with the first recommendation from a different clinic and the horse’s lameness improved with rest and NSAID’s. Not only was she overly critical of my animal during this evaluation, she struggled to make eye contact with me and made an inaccurate assessment. 2) Dr Wilson came to my location for an emergency farm call for a colic case. The onset was rapid and the cause is undetermined right now. She treated the horse on site but I had to pry at her for at-home care and things I should be looking for that would indicate improvement or relapse. This is where she failed to provide me with critical information, and ultimately the horse died from its colic episode. 3) When the same colic case from #2 showed new signs of distress, I called the clinic to see if I could run my observations by Dr. Wilson so she could tell me what might be happening and what I could do. She, again, was reluctant to provide me with critical information and her staff informed me “she just has no way of knowing what this could mean without looking at the horse.” She looked at the same horse 18 hours before my phone call. A different horse-person I trust very much advised that the horse needed immediate veterinary attention when I explained my observations to her. At the time, Dr Wilson advised I bring the horse directly to her clinic and I did my best to clarify that my horse would indeed be able to be seen if I brought her there and the staff said “yes.” However, upon arrival Dr Wilson neglected the urgency of my mare’s case and let her die at her clinic. I do not blame Dr Wilson for the death of my horse, but I want to inform other people that she failed to prioritize urgent situations and manage her staff effectively when it would have otherwise saved my horse. In my mare’s last moments, I felt that Dr Wilson continued to be rude. I’m not sure how you refuse to look a client in the eye and offer a firm handshake after she witnessed the death of an animal that was cherished for 15 years by a whole community of people, but Dr Wilson pulled it off. It was appalling. I hope that prospective clients can now manage their expectation if they must rely on this clinic in a crisis situation. I do not recommend that Dr. Wilson is your first phone call, and I hope she will not be your last.

I have been taking my Pepper Ann to Beavers since I got her from the Shelter. They are wonderful there and would not trust her with anyone else. Their prices are very reasonable.

Very reasonable prices, friendly and compassionate veterinarian (Holly Wilson)and Staff. We went there for our 17 year old cat, who had not been eating. Holly insisted blood work, so we did blood work. Found out important health issues, Holly handled it with compassion and tact, went through all options. Will be going to bring our other pets to Holly for treatments!

They were able to squeeze us in for an emergency appointment after our dog had a seizure.

They are the real deal i made an appointment but my dog couldn't wait so they got us right in and in 1 day he's back to hisself again

Love taking my pets here. The staff is always very good and caring with my pets. Facility is always clean and smells the same. Would highly recommend them.

They have a comfort cat in the office that can sense sadness i think. I was very sad and the cat was all over me until i felt better. Also the vet went above and beyond to help my dog! Great place!

I've been taking my two dogs here for the last two years. I fully trust that my pups are taken care of by Doc and her staff! They have been great and have always answered my new dog mom questions. I've never had a concern with wait times and scheduling is a breeze. Prices are fair and reasonable. The staff is friendly and gives out handy appointment reminder cards. Would recommend!
