I love Dr. Holder! She is always super patient and kind plus is quite knowledgeable on dog behavior which is priceless to find in a vet.

Love Dr. Holland. She is the best! Always willing to help and always Informative. You can tell she loves her job and cares about the animals and their people.

The staff here are awesome and treated me and my ferret with lots of care and respect!

Excellent Vet and staff. They continue to practice safe Covid measures and the Vet got down on the floor with my dog. Their love and care for animals is top notch! Highly recommend.

They’re great! The only issue I have with them is that when my senior dog needed to be put down, they turned me away and I had to find another vet to perform his euthanasia. Luckily I found an AWESOME vet (Dr. Reeves w/Paws at Peace) to come to my home. But when emotions are high and the place that had treated him for 2 years turned me away, it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Great vet, but way to overpriced. Double to triple the cost of other vets.

Will never be back. Total waste of money and time. My cat was very ill, the doctor seemed totally hands off to help, and gave me a tremendous bill by going straight down the path for surgery. I was at the point where I couldn't even afford the surgery, but instead euthanize my pet I took him to another vet. The new vet didn't think we needed surgery, and was a little more hands on and fixed it WITHOUT surgery. And even if surgery was needed their cost was going to be less than half this place. What a joke.

This place has been hit or miss for me. I brought my cat Oli in a little over a year ago for surgery and boarding, and the staff was excellent, and pricing reasonable. I have recently been bringing Oli and my new kitten in for several minor health reasons, and to say they are severely overpriced is an understatement. I made an appointment for a “checkup” for both cats at the same time, and they didn’t even take more than a glance and a quick weight check for the kitten and still charged me the full checkup price. No temperature check, nothing. I could’ve done that myself for free! Dr. McFarland is super nice and caring, and overall seems like a good doctor. But I feel like the thoroughness of appointments and price points of this place are unacceptable and inconsistent at times. If your pet needs a major surgery I’d recommend them, but not for anything else.

It is hit and miss with administrative staff at this location for me. Deliberate rudeness when trying to pickup my dog's treatment is always an undercurrent. I am sure for some this is no big deal but for me???I will only frequent providers who treat me with dignity. I am the one footing the bills. Friendly desk employees coupled with caring providers equals happy Mom and happy dog.

Absolutely love this place. The staff is kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else.

They provided great service. I have a kitten who needed her first vaccine shots and health check up. The staff was friendly and the visit was successful.

It's very expensive. I was shocked at how much my bill was.

I took my cat in today, Sunday. The news isn't good but Dr Griffith,DVM was so kind and compassionate as well as the staff here!!! This is definitely a great hospital for your 4 legged babies.

Have taken one dog here since beginning of pandemic, transferred care of another pet recently. The follow up is stellar. We walk away with questions discussed and resolved. Techs and team seem happy to be there.

This is our first dog and he got parvo and they were able to save him. Nice people, definitly keeping my monthly appointments to care for my new puppy.

I had brought our cat here, who unfortunately passed recently. But it was not due to anything done wrong at VCA. Dr. McFarland was who I met with, and he was willing to see me, despite the fact that I was running over half an hour late. His understanding, patience, and compassion for my animal in his visit with her was outstanding. He answered as many questions as he could, and he made additional efforts to contact another facility I needed to take her to for further testing, that really no one else in the metro did. I had reached out several times with additional questions and asked if I could purchase renal formula from them. He was always prompt in his replies and worked with me in whatever way be could. We have other animals that we will surely bring here for primary care.

Friendly staff and good service. Open weekends is a big plus. Recommended!

They r fantastic took my cat there and dropped her off I called to check on her twice they did not mind to go check on her. And when I went to pick her up the doctor explained everything to me nobody was in a rush he gave me two cans of food to take home with me. And everybody is just so friendly. ????????????

10/10 recommend. I brought in a cat I rescued who was very old and not in good shape. He was underweight, eye infection, ear infection, heart murmur and possibly had worms. They treated him so well the visit was short and thorough. I let them know my budget and that I plan on setting up future appointments (this little dude is gonna need a lot of work). 6 different medications later and the price of everything was very good. I can’t thank them enough:)

We have been taking our dogs to VCA Kinkingbird A.H. for years. The staff is always friendly & knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable. Recently our dog became very ill and Dr. Judkins & Dr. Holder and the wonderful staff of VCA Kickingbird Animal Hospital saved him. He's back home and doing well! Thank you all for taking such wonderful care of our pup.

Extremely overpriced. They lie to you about illnesses your pets have for money. I was told my dog might not live and all she had was heartburn. Pepto bismol fixed her problem. They wanted 2000 dollars.

10 stars.....not 5. Absolutely hands down the best vet I have been to. Nothing but superb professionalism from all of the staff. My girlfriend and I have found our one and only vet we need to go to. Make VCA Kickingbird Animal Hospital your pet's home for all their medical needs.

Never answers their phone and when they have answered they have had poor customer service.

We started using VCA Kickingbird several years ago when our geriatric fur baby became very ill again. She was terrified of the vet from so many issues over her years. They didn't make us come in, they did the exam in the car and waited until the sedative kicked in to bring her inside. Unfortunately, she had to be put down but they made it as stress free as possible for our Ellie. We have since taken pretty much everyone of our fur babies here. Dr. Holder is such a blessing! We found the perfect doctor for our animals. She tries to take the least expensive route first and offers options if possible. If you have concerns about medication, she will give another option if available. We can't say enough about Dr. Tracey Holder! We have seen Dr. McFarland for an abscessed tooth. He prescribed meds that were sure to give our Rico relief so he wasn't suffering. He also developed a cough a couple weeks later and was given another medication that was sure to help him be comfortable. A lot of vets in the past wouldn't prescribed true pain relief meds so thankful our pups haven't suffered under the care of these Vets. Thank you for caring about our old babies, they appreciate you and so do we!
