They are so helpful! As a busy mom of 5 with two legs and 1 with four legs it's hard to remember checkup schedules. The fact that they call and have such convenient time frames is amazing!!!

Banfield consistently provided new vets in their rotation so no reliability and repeatability was never developed. Different vets had differing plans so each time it was "let's give this a try" over promising and under delivering. I'm there to advocate for my pet, but need information I can rely on to be accurate and consistent vs "oh yeah that doc is no longer here and didn't really know what they were doing" 8 attempts for pet pharmacy to fill flea medication because they wouldnt respond to requests, and ultimately they never did. We just gave up and went to a new vet. The front desk is fairly rude or ambivalent to me and my dogs existence as if we are bothering them to check in for an appt. The follow up "I hope your visit went great" after we had to cancel due to another situation with the staff was really the moment I knew they cared. Deeply cared about getting me to leave them alone so they can go screw up another patient's care. So now we get to see a specialist because the diagnosis was too long in coming and they are no longer going to support that care as it is too advanced. Thanks

I had scheduled an appointment for 4pm for our sick puppy to be seen here as that was the only time available. The day of the appointment, I called and asked if they could get him in any earlier cause he seemed to be getting worse and they told me that they couldn't get him in earlier and to take him to Neel or Blue Pearl as they are emergency vets and could get him in faster. I explained that we couldn't afford an ER visit. When we showed up for our appointment, they had canceled it and refused to see us. I DID NOT CANCEL OUR APPOINTMENT. At no point was canceling our appointment even discussed. They got one star cause I have to choose. Should be no stars CAUSE THEY DID NOTHING!!

My 2 girls pups visit this hospital often for their vaccinations and check ups. Monthly insurance is fair and the staff is friendly. I always feel welcomed when I visit. My baby girls are always treated with great kindness and given the best care. I recommend this hospital for all of your pet care needs.

After I had taken my dog in for his routine teeth cleaning, I EXPLICITLY told them to NOT give my dog ANY vaccinations, especially kennel cough. What did they do, GAVE my dog the KENNEL COUGH vaccine. Then, they tried blaming his hair falling out, his vomiting, his puny self on the sedation. Which I can 1000% guarantee it wasn’t as he hasn’t tolerated it perfectly fine before. Livid is an understatement. They LIED to me and went against what I had told them. I treat my pets like family and this place is a joke.

Asked the vet if there were any natural approaches to helping my dogs allergies since the hundreds of dollars of medications prescribed weren’t helping him and she laughed in my face and said “we aren’t a holistic vet”. Won’t be back ever again! They all seem to have to meet a quota daily and push to sell more and more.

Do not take your dog here, they had my dog for almost 6 hours and missed kennel cough and pneumonia. I had to take my pet to a different vet yesterday because they told me she was fine last Friday. My dog almost died and still may because of you.

Long story short if you want your dog to die then take your dog here. Called about my dog/symptoms and they said to bring her in. Instead of looking at her right away they put my dog in a cage and when they finally looked at her they told me she needed emergency help.Yes they could do it, but they recommended another place. Not telling us my dog was to weak to make it to another place, she didn't make it. If i ever get a dog again i will NEVER TAKE HIM/HER HERE.

I have been to Banfield a handful of times and never have I had such an awful experience. I took my kitten to the vet for a comprehensive exam since he is almost 1 year old. Once I picked him up from his exam I noticed he had an infection in his eye and he wouldn’t open it. Prior to dropping him off he has not had any issues at all. I confronted the vet about why my kitten has an infection in his eye. I was very upset and disappointed to find out that he actually had got an infection in both eyes but the doctor didn’t know how. There was never responsibility taken and I also had to pay to get my kitten medicine when this happened at the vet. I will NEVER GO BACK to Banfield ever again! It is super stressful on some pets when you have to take them out of their environment to a doctor and then your pet gets an infection in there eye and that pet cannot open it. Shame on this Clinic. I hope no one else has to experience this like I did. Nothing was explained as to how my kitten got an infection. I will never go back again!

Was a little disappointed when I took my dog to have her nails trimmed on a Friday afternoon to learn that they only trim nails Monday through Thursday. There was even someone not busy. ☹️

I have struggled with writing this review for months. It has been almost 6 months since we had to say goodbye to our 10 year old Lab/Mastiff (Mastador) Lucy. Lucy had been seen at Banfield, along with our other 2 pups, since they were 6 weeks old, and all 3 were on their "Wellness Plan". Like several others have said, signing up for a Wellness Plan is treated almost like rental car companies trying to get you to sign up for the damage waiver. We have paid THOUSANDS of dollars in "dues" and never complained once. Then Lucy got sick. We could tell something was dreadfully wrong, but they kept saying it was just a "pinched nerve" or something. We shelled out the $$ for xrays ($400 with our "discount) - inconclusive. 2 Weeks go by, we take her back in for a follow-up, and still "its nothing, probably narrowing of her hips" but if you want to do an MRI thats going to cost a couple grand because, well, it sin't covered or even offered at Banfield. You have to go to an outside vet. We weren't satisfied, so we took Lucy to a vet outside of the Banfield system, and paid full price out of pocket. He asked if he could do another xray because "I really need to see just a bit further up her spine". We say of course, fully expecting a large bill. Nope, $100 for xrays, done in a matter of minutes. The new xray shows cancer, having already eaten away several of her vertebrae. Nothing we could do. He said he wouldn't put her through an MRI, because there was nothing he could do. We said goodbye a week later to the matriarch of our pupper family. As others have said, we couldn't cancel our Wellness plans, even though one of the dogs had to be put down. We couldn't even cancel HERS. But we refuse to go back. So we have paid for the last 6 months for 3 plans, nearly $200 a month, while at the same time paying our new vet full ride for all services for our dogs. We have told Banfield to cancel our services when they expire, and they have the nerve to call to remind us about Lucy's covered services, better get that comprehensive exam scheduled...they don't even care to look into the notes and see that Lucy isn't here anymore. Now we are not saying that they should have caught the cancer early, not saying its because of negligence that she had to be put down. What we ARE saying is the entire operation feels more like a firm calling to get you to renew your cars warranty than caring for beloved fur-family members. They front load the services so you are locked in for the year, and there is no way out, even in death. Are all Banfield vets like this? We cannot say - we have actually dealt with some very kind, caring people at Banfield. But as far as we are concerned, we will never take another pet of ours to Banfield, under no circumstances. Also, very interesting (and hypocritical) to show pibbles in their advertising when PetSmart won't allow the breed in their day camps.

Came for an ear infection for our 1.5 year old dog. 4 visits and $623 dollars later, it is not fixed. Vet techs that act like they don’t want to be there. It’s an ear infection. This is not that difficult. If they take no ownership of the ear treatments they are doing with each of our overcharged visits where we saw a vet tech (not the actual vet), then I’m absolutely going to be upset. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They do have one nice receptionist we had at one of our 4 visits. Other than that, highway robbery and our dog still has an ear infection.

Absolutely amazing! Dr. Lynn and the staff are very helpful and very understanding with my pup and his condition!! I live in okc but drive to edmond because I love the staff

I've taken both my cats here, and they've always had a good visit. They seem to be very thorough, and really care about the animals they take care of. They also call a few days after your appointment just to check up on your pet (even if it was just a routine visit), which I also find very sweet & makes me feel very good about choosing Banfield for their care.

I hate this place and will never go here for my pet ever again. I went here several years ago for my dog to simply get her nails trimmed and was hounded into signing up for a wellness plan that I was required to pay monthly for even tho she didnt even go in monthly. They treated me like if I didnt sign up then I didnt care about my dog who was like 2 years old at the time and is now 9 and still healthy as can be... anyways I signed up and when I decided it wasn't worth the money I was paying tried to cancel and was then charged for the remaining payments on the plan. It was put on my credit as a delinquent account for 6 years cause I refused to pay it. All in all this place is a joke and a scamming conniving company that will never receive a dime or be asked for any services by me ever again nor will I recommend this company to anyone ever!

We had all our pets in the wellness plans for quite awhile and realized how bad of service we were getting with not only price but quality of care. We now use a smaller clinic which has been able to diagnose our babies correctly. Something Banfield was not able to do.

They were so helpful with our Wynn's procedures and her problems and explained everything to us and were very helpful in doing what we needed to do concerning her health I want to thank the assistance they gave us and the people there were awesome especially the doctors in our grieving that we went through thanks to your staff for being thoughtful in our trying time
