Super friendly staff and very reasonable prices for the Edmond area! Didn't feel like they were just trying to make a dollar!

Hillbilly doctor. Umprofessional. Do not go here. Threw me out because I would not let him take my dog in another room.

Dr. Newsome, in my opinion, is the greatest veterinarian I have ever had. There has been 2 occasions that I have feared for the life of my beloved Golden Retriever and both times happened at night on the weekends and Dr. Newsome, with his quick response and genuine care for animals, saved my Coopers life. If I could give him 10 star review it still would not be enough to describe the level of appreciation I have for him and his dedication to my pet.

This veterinarian is awesome. You can call him on weekends if you have an emergency. He's been in business a long time and he knows his business very well. They really care for the animals. They have a laser machine that is unbelievable what it can do to pain in an animal. I have often wanted to ask him if he would do my neck while I was there. There's not enough words to express how good a veterinarian I think this man is. Everybody at his clinic is very, very nice.

Very Very Very disappointed with this veterinarian. I was treated badly by the doctor and he was talking to us with a loud voice like we are children. I was accused of contributing to the problem of why dogs and pets are left in the shelters to die becuase I choose to breed my dogs !!!!! The only time (according to this doctor) that I should breed a dog is for the single purpose of having it participate in a SHOW. Are you for real? Like do you even listen to what you actually saying here ? Anyways, I understand that everyone is entitle to his or her opinion but you don't get to talk down or raise your voice at us for simply not sharing the same opinion that you do. We love our dogs and we treat them as a part of our family and thats why we take them to vet clinic and keep them up on vaccinations and medical exams. This doctor solution is to fix the dog so they can't breed. Who is gonna come to me and snap my junk because there are too many humans on earth and the whole world hunger !!!!! Please doctor try to think of what happened here and use this as a learning experience. Don't talk down to your customers and just accept that we all have different opinions before you start pointing your finger and accused of us of something we would never and will never do.

We just recently, like in the last few months, switched to the Visiting Vet after several years with another pet service (whose name won't be mentioned but sounds like Memorial Animal.. ) .We have been extremely impressed with everyone at this small yet wonderful practice. We recently had to put one of our 4 legged kiddos down and not only was everyone there sensitive to our loss but the handwritten note we received the day after solidified our admiration. Btw- they seem to be always welcoming a lobby full of pets who need an excellent doctor who cares for them all!!

My boy was GRAVELY ILL ????!! couldn't keep anything down or in????. My first visit with Dr Newsome. What an awesome Dr. He listens to everything AND IS GENUINELY conserned with the animals well being (he has a gift)... I just can't say ENOUGH about EVERYONE there... He seemed abrupt but his concern was all about getting our boy better and he did,AND THATS ALL THAT MATTERS!! I WILL NEVER TAKE MY FUR BABIES ANYWHERE ELSE. THANK YOU Dr Newsome and staff... 4ever Grateful. He's a real Dr Dolittle!!! DONT BRING YOUR FUR-BABIES ANYWHERE ELSE, the Visiting Veterinarian is EVERYTHING YOU ARE LOOKING FOR!!????❤️????????????????????????????????‍????

6 months ago my dog got extremely sick and they took me the same day I called. They gave me more details and did more work than the previous vet I went too, and did everything they possibly could and they even worked around my budget. They were 100% honest with me and and though I lost my dog they did what they could and covered everything leaving no stone left un turned. I will be bringing future pets here. They do an amazing job and care about your animals

We where there on vacation visiting our kids and the grand kids this June 2021. our shiatzu Pepper has had a history of ear issues. My vets here in California have been dealing with this for years but never could get it nailed down. his ears started to bother him and we had no meds. my vet would not fill a emergency prescription so i took him here. My wife being a Edmond native said country doctors are the best. So i took him . first thing I noticed was pepper was totally at ease with the vet which is un heard of with pepper. he let the vet examine him without a bite or nipping. WOW!!! after he asked me the typical questions he looked in his ears. told me he recommends this medicine and not to get any water in his ears for 30 days while this treatment is active. So I said Ok lets do it... I noticed a difference in him with in a few hours. his head shaking and pain attacks got less. within 3 days they where gone. When we got back to California i took him in to my vet after 2 weeks after the medicine wore off since he was stating to have ear issues again. my regular vet received the medical record from the Edmond vet and proceeded where he left off. they also found a drug that's working as a ant-inflammatory with out the antibiotic since the first treatment cleared the infection. just want to say Thanks Doc!!! Amazing vet examine vet office visit is $44 off the bat FYI. But can generally get you in same day think of him as like an urgent Care vet at least that's what I've had to use them for sadly. Get straight to the point a little Kurt maybe but does well by your animals!

We recently had to bring our cat in on a couple of occasions, unfortunately with the result of putting her down. We recently moved back from Denver, and didn’t have an established vet. Their office made time for our girl on two separate occasions. Dr. Newsom and his entire staff were incredibly compassionate, kind, and patient through the entire process. Not to mention, no price gouging. Also: We had a bad experience at another vet with our dog, and brought him into Dr. Newsom’s office with us to pick up our sweet kitty’s remains. He was showered with treats, and pets, and they all remembered our kitty fondly. The short answer: if you’re looking for someone to love and care for your pets the way you do, it’s here. Thank you, Dr. Newsom and staff.
