Nazty Dog Groom & Board Midwest City, Oklahoma

I’m new to MWC & needed to find a new groomers for my 2 lil Shih Tzus & had originally called the one at PetVet but they’re booked out until March (it’s the beg of Jan now) & my dog’s can’t wait that long bc they’re already past due! I get nervous having to find a new groomers bc one of my Shih Tzus is 18yo, blind, extremely hard of hearing, & only has 3 leg’s. She needs someone who will be gentle with her as well as patient but work quickly & efficiently bc she can’t stand for extended periods of time. I just get her shaved down (head & all) to make it easier on her. At her age we go for comfort over looks! Both of my dog’s were stinky & needed a cut badly & he did a great job. It took a lil less than 4hrs which I’m ok with for 2 dog’s. I’ve had groomers before where I dropped them off at 7am & they wouldn’t be ready until 5-6pm!! That’s way too long!! I wish they were a lil cheaper but other than that everything was great! I’ll be using them again!

Definitely a price increase. From 12 to 20.

I have a very nervous dog and they have always been so amazing with him. He hates going, but he always stands so tall and proud after a hair cut.

So I thought I would try this place out and see how it was. Ask for a teddy bear haircut and this is what I got. Horrible horrible horrible horrible is all I got to say. The guy said that he had over 20 years experience and it does not show. Do not take your dog here. I paid $65 for this haircut and it came out uneven and way way way to short to even be a teddy bear haircut. Just look at the pictures.The last picture is what her hair looked like before she came in.

First time using them. Paid for the full package but just seems like they sprayed a bunch of cologne on her and trimmed her nails. We were first ones there in the morning (told by worker) and they still didn’t call me to come get her until almost 4 hours later. And when I called after 2 hours to check in the guy was super rude. Thanks anyway ????

Used Nazty Dogs for years when we lived in MWC. Moved to Yukon, tried groomers closer to home. Now we drive across the city to bring them back to Naz.

Pups are looking and feeling ????. I'm a repeat customer for many years. Nazareth is a true professional and really cares about providing a great grooming experience.

I love this place! They always are so polite to me and they make sure my two fur babies look nice. It is a all day affair to deal with them, so they call me to let me know when they are ready for pick up. Even more so, they are up front about the price, which I always appreciate.

If you want customer service, go somewhere else. My wife called to see if they had an opening for boarding. They did, but we can only drop off during the week and not the weekend. Okay, just another $25 no big deal. Wife asks about picking our dog when we return on July 3rd. Still no. Likely covid which is understood. Wife makes sure to confirm twice that July 5th was available for pickup. She was told yes twice. I drop her off and confirm that they will be open on July 5th. All is good. Even ask for them to groom her and we pay in advance. The problem starts when we go to pick up our dog on July 5th. No one is there, no one answers the phone, no signage indicating they were closed. Even their website and Facebook page have nothing stating they are closed. We are upset that we can't get a hold of anyone to figure out the problem. The one time they answered the phone, they hung up on my wife after she nicely asks if she can pick up her dog. I finally get a hold of the owner through text. They don't acknowledge their side of the verbal agreement. The wife and I are very upset and they offer no communication other than enjoy your holiday. There is lack of communication on both sides. Owner not wanting to talk and us upset about not getting out dog back. Things would work out better if communication was valued and they knew how to work with an upset client. Once we get our dog back we immediately see they did not do a good job grooming her. They do not seem to have a grasp with dogs that shed. She smells horrible. Owner does not want to work with us again and the feeling is mutual. Yes we did contact the non-emergency line with the police as the owner did not want to communicate and we did not know what was going on with our dog. It took three hours to get the owner to give any sort of response. Make sure to text if you want any response. Owner admits to leaving phone in truck during holidays because he gets a lot of calls. If you need to get a hold of him, I wish you luck. I would not trust him with my dog again.

Great experience. Met owner, very kind and good with my anxious puppy. They did a great job, timely and professional.

I use them once they did a great. job on my dog scrappy I've tried to call again to make an appointment for him but nobody seems to answer the phone Nobody Return's phone calls apparently they don't need no business

This place is awesome. Nazareth is really gentle with the dogs and he really knows how to make them comfortable when he does his work. My dogs are always excited for spa day!

This was my first time using them & my dog’s first time being groomed. Due to Covid, a worker greeted me outside & my dog was taken inside by herself but he (the worker) was very sweet with her from the little I saw. They called me when she was ready to be picked up and the worker (woman) was very nice to me and my dog as she was put into the car. She desperately needed her nails trimmed and although they came out shorter than I expected, she doesn’t seem to be in pain. She also got a bath and came out smelling GREAT! The entire process was fairly quick and easy. They’re also reasonably priced. As someone new to the area, I’ll definitely be using them again!

Couldn't get a hold of anybody. Google shows business open, but no one answered the phone or returned my calls.

I’ve been taking my dog here for years. Sadly this business isn’t what it was before. They dismiss calls & ignore long time customers. Either expand or get a better receptionist. I have been going to Nazty dogs for years I’m so over the way they treat customers. I’ll come back once this place gets back to their roots.

Seriously hands down the BEST grooming experience we've had in years! Naz is personable as well as professional! Iggy has never looked better and we've tried more than several groomers!! I drive from Edmond and let me say it is well worth it! Thank you Nazty Dog!!!

Took my Boxer in today for a grooming Today the nice staff met me curbside and took my guy in got a full service grooming done! He’s never looked or smelled better! A-1 service and even offered a military discount! Can’t beat Nazty Dogs!!

I would put zero stars but it won’t let me. I have taken 2 dogs to be groomed. He cut one twice and keep her for 6 hours. He has cut them both. When I bring the home the act like they have been mistreated. And he is very very rude. He changes his price every time I go. I would not take my dog back to this man if my life depended on it. Please think twice before you use this groomer.

Called about pricing! Gentleman on phone was super nice! Told me everything I need to get started for doggie day care! And the price was wonderful!
