My absolute favorite vet, we love taking our 3 dogs here! They're truly passionate about what they do.

The doctors and staff are great. We have trusted the care of all our fur babies with these vets.

Today my cat had an appointment for declawing her front paws. She was completely healthy. There was absolutely nothing wrong with her and this was confirmed by his vet too. After couple of hours I got a phone call from one of the vets. Here what he said” I am so sorry, Luna suffered from cardiac arrest and she died”. He said everything was good and right after procedure, her heart stopped beating!!!!!! My heart broke into pieces. All my feelings got frozen. I just said how this happened and his answer was she got really anxious and we gave her MORE medication to calm her down !!!!!!!! After being numb for couple of hours , I went to the clinic and asked for Luna’s MAR and their procedure sheet. This is what I found out: Anesthesia time start at 11:00 am but the first sedative was given to her at 11:20????? Then I see that Mobic and Buprenaphrine were given to her at 11:15 for pain????? Since when you give NSAIDs for sedation??? They told me that since she was high risk case due to agitation , they put her as 1:1. But the only VS that was charted was at 11:15 and one as 11:30, there is no other VS until she died????? You be the judge!!!

Very good care of my puppy Biscuits, had to take her there multiple times on very short notice and they were always attentive and ready to get her taken care of within 15 mins of calling and getting there. My pup was in a severe temp drop and they got her stabilized and told me the problem. Amazing and very caring vets and vet techs. 10/10 reccomend if you want the best care for your furry family.

Wasn't happy finding out my baby has cancer but they tell me to give him benadryl for pain.... seriously!

My Susie arrived very very sad and sick in the clinic, high fever, the diagnosis was Lyme disease, when I picked her up she was super fine, super happy as always, thank you so much, she is getting better????

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I visited them today with a medical emergency for my cat and the vet knew exactly what to do while the staff helped me with figuring out a financial plan for this unexpected situation.

Super happy with our experience with Dr. Hufnagel and Kelsey! Pet Medical Center was super responsive and very thorough with their approach to figuring out our pup's derm issues. They've also cared for all of my mom's dogs throughout the years. Very thankful for their care!

I have been taking my dogs here for at least 8 years and over the past year I have been treated so horribly by the front office staff that sadly I had to make the decision to find another vet. Dr. Harmon was an amazing vet and when she left we started seeing Dr. Stratton. We love him - he is great. But when I schedule an appointment 3 weeks in advance and get a reminder the day before - and walk in for said appointment to then be told that I don't have an appointment and being treated so rudely - that was the straw that broke the camels back. I was then told that they could try and "squeeze me in" that day but they were completely booked. There was not one person there at the time! Not one! And I'm sorry - but we deserved better than to be squeezed in. The office manager tried to tell me that my appointment was scheduled for next month when the app they use showed my appointment was scheduled for that day. Tried showing her that and she got rude with me. Funny thing was after I left, the appointment she tried to tell me I had mysteriously appeared. I know it wasn't the one I made because there were no notes like I always leave - nice try but you lost me as a customer. I spent thousands there over the years! I think they need to strongly reconsider their front office staff because those are the people that make the most impact sometimes unfortunately.

No one in the front lobby including the front desk girl wore a mask at the very height of the pandemic. Very unprofessional and shows either complete ignorance or lack of concern for clients, especially for a business centered on health and science. Shameful.

Dr. Stratton is incredibly down to Earth, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and truly cares about my fur baby. The woman at the front desk was lovely and personable too!

It was an amazing experience I have never met a vet that cared so much about dogs and not the money they took care of them got to know them and we're so affectionate towards each one of them and took the time to go over every charge that was happening today and everything else

No one in this practice was wearing a mask in the midst of a surge in Covid cases. We won’t be going back.

My cat is receiving great care here. They have the ability to perform a wide range of diagnostics, care and services. When you have an ill pet, you want to be able to get a diagnosis and treatment plan as soon as possible and I am grateful that I have that experience here. All of their staff is very caring, compassionate and knowledgeable.

The staff was so wonderful! The doctor was very knowledgeable and helped out pup with his knee.

A good place to take your best furry friends

My dogs have been going here for many years. They are amazing with their care, however it is sooo expensive. They quoted me about $370 during booking over the phone, and at pick-up I paid about $750! ????

They were more worried about getting paid than my dogs. When you go with their new puppy treatment plan you save $30 if you pay $400+ upfront, not wanting to commit to this vet for 3 months, I declined and the vet tech freaked out at me saying that "YOU SAVE MORE THAN $30" even though the paper she gave me stated other wise. Then she guilted me saying she had to do extra paper work because I declined it? After finally leaving, knowing we are never, ever coming back, the front desk lady gave me an attitude and just grunted at me when I spoke to her. Yikes dude. I'm going to make sure I tell everyone I know to never, ever use this Vet.

Efficient, friendly, answered all my questions

I could not be more pleased with the service and care my senior cat and I received! They deserve gold medals for what they did and I'm so grateful they took the time to explain everything from start to finish and made us feel totally taken care of. And the fact i received such a heartfelt follow up call this morning to check on my baby... That's true service- I'm beyond impressed with Pet Medical Center! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!!!!

I am very pleased with the staff and the facility. My dog has been experiencing some pretty bad allergies, and my previous vet was not very experienced in diagnosing and treating allergies. I chose Pet Medical Center after much research. My biggest concern was cost. I knew I was looking at drop quite a few hundred dollars if I wanted to solve my pet's allergy issue; bearing this in mind, I wanted to make sure that I was going to someone knowledgable who would not waste my money throwing shots in the dark. Enter Dr. Hufnagel and the staff at Pet Medical. I was blown away by their kindness and obvious love of animals. Dr. Hufnagel listened to everything I had to say and took time to consider what I had observed happening to my dog in conjunction with what he observed upon the examination of my dog. He was thorough, thoughtful, and willing to explain his thought process and the next steps to finding a diagnosis. I've been three separate times, and while my pockets are a bit lighter (there's really no way NOT to spend money on vet bills when your dog is having serious allergies), I feel like it was money well spent. --I realize that for some people, money is not a problem, but for many of us, it's a legitimate concern. Edmond is an expensive place for veterinary care; HOWEVER, Pet Medical is as affordable as it gets in Edmond and well worth the time to receiving excellent vet care. As well, the facility is clean, well-lit, and inviting. They also have a fun dog park on their property to help acclimate dogs to coming to the vet.
