Dar’s Dirty Dogs Youngstown, Ohio

What a wonderful place ! Took my almost 16 year old dog there for the first time today to use the self wash station. Store is impeccably clean, staff was so friendly and helpful. Lots of cute toys and treats to buy as well. Highly recommend!!

I think shes losing her mind. Going for years now she just cancels day of with no rescheduling info or a mention for me to call to reschedule. So I'm gonna look somewhere else. She seems too overwhelmed to care for my dog. Not a good thing when I'm handing over my fluff baby to her. Sorry. I'll give 2 stars bc she is very nice but maybe her plate is getting too full.

My dog Blue has high anxiety to the point of having special training for it. Blue trusted getting nails done by Dar. Dar started to allow walk-ins to come in. One day she was not there and someone else did his nails. Blue usually would get nails done on the table but was put in a tub and a leash applied. Blue was very nervous and I asked to have it done the way he was used to. The gentleman had to reach over Blue and the whole thing was very awkward. Two of his quicks were cut and bleed a lot and it was very painful for Blue. I stopped the nail session. The next time I went in and asked for Dar to do them. Dar was very impatient with Blue because she was busy grooming another dog and interrupted. I called before hand and was told to bring him in. Blue was very nervous due to the previous trauma. He is now very scared to get his nails done and needs a muzzle to do them. He is very traumatized now. ????

Darlene and Dee are Fantastic. Stopped by to schedule and they trimmed my dog's nails today!! They treated my boy Great, as if he was their own!! THANK YOU LADIES!! Yvonne

The driers could be better.

I loved taking my other dogs there but since they have passed and finally got another dog. When I called they are not accepting new clients at this time. But wash bays are always open

Dar is a great person she is so good with my dogs .She is a great groomer I would recommend this place to anyone

Dar does a great job with the dogs, but her customer service has gone down hill. Perhaps because she has so much business, she has lost sight of the importance of being nice. She appears very frustrated and inpatient, as if I was an inconvenience to her to schedule my pups for a grooming.

I recently called to make an appointment. Before I could even state when I was hoping to get my dogs in I was abruptly cut off and told that there were no appointments. Dad was very discourteous and dismissive. I understand if you are busy and not taking any clients. However it is never a good customer service to be Kurt and rude over the phone to a potential client.

They provide the soap, towels , dryers ...& you wash your pup ! Reasonably priced and very professional!

My dog had been taumatized at Pet Smart, ever since then no one could trim her nails, she is the only one Izzabella will allow to cut her nails. She does a good job. Then we use the self wash to give her a bath

Self pet wash was great ! Affordable and love how they provide aprons , assortments of shampoos, towels, and a blow dryer. I also liked how we can take our time washing our dog . I will be back !

Have been a customer of Dar's for a while. It's a very clean place and Dar is so sweet, and her mom too.

Darlene does a fantastic job. Reasonable Rates too! I have been taling my golden retriever there for 4 years now. Never dissapointed. She has several self wash tubs as well which she provides all the needed supplies.

Great place! Very convenient to give your dog a bath there. Great price as well. I just wish they were closer to us!
