Amazing staff. Like family who cares about our furry family. They have been a necessary part of our family for more than 30 years.

My dog had been here once or twice before for emergencies but was not our normal vet and that was never a problem; until today. My dog got injured playing and couldn't walk, I called to see about getting him looked at and the receptionist was very rude and cared more if he had been a regular client rather than getting him in to be seen. I flat out asked well if I lied and told you he was there 6 months ago, would you see him, she said yes because normal clients come before emergencies. Makes sense as to why I'm not a regular client.....

We were greeted with friendly-compassionate receptionists. We were able to walk right into the examination room with our sick cat. They were empathetic, concerned, and took immediate action. They gave us options, took time explaining them. They didn’t make the diagnosis or treatment about money. The took the time with us and listened. *We left with a plan for our cat *Confident in his treatment *Happy children……As well as parents that could breath easier ;)

I called over 10 different vets about my 7 year old cat who was not eating, drinking, not really even moving and who had stopped even looking at me... (I was her world since I requested her at 6 weeks old). They were the only ones at 9am that would take her in to even look at her.

The kind and caring professionals at Austintown Veterinary Clinic helped our pet family when literally every other vet in the area turned us away, fitting in an emergency consult during a very busy day that gave relief not just to our dog but to my wife and I. We’re forever grateful and will happily be calling AVC our new Go To!

I love Austintown Veterinary Clinic, but I’m not happy about not being able to accompany my dog into the office. All other places of business have safety protocols in place that do not exclude customers. I just thought that it was a bit much especially since the CDC is not even requiring masks if you’ve been vaccinated.

I've been going to this veterinary clinic for close to 20 years. By far they have been excellent to my dogs and 1 cat. However, sadly I must part as their fear of COVID has hindered their care to the pets. They can't seem to accept the newest CDC guidelines in regards to the vaccine and masking. I am vaccinated and wore the mask per their request. They are still taking your pet away without you in the room for examinations. The "fill-in" vet dismissed our concerns on my dog's sore leg. I explained this was the problem of not being allowed in the room to show her the exact spot. She huffed and would not even bend down to look at the sore area. It cost me $200.00 for sub par care. I ended up taking her to emergency vet over the weekend. This veterinarian Absolutely allowed me in the room with my pet for the examination and they said since I was vaccinated that I did not have to wear a mask. They did not have fear and my pet received excellent care. BY the way, my dog did have a bad infection that required antibiotics. I'm ending the 20 year relationship I had with them until they stop allowing their fear of COVID to hinder my pet getting quality care. Owners need to be in the room with their pet as animals cannot vocalize their pain . This is no different than a mother be banned from her child in the room and expect that child to have the ability to tell a doctor what is wrong. It's been a over a year now and hospitals don't even have these separation restrictions in place. Good Luck to you and I truly hope you find your way back.

Dr. O'Neil was really helpful and kind when we brought our fur baby in for an emergency visit. She explained thoroughly what was happening, how to treat, and care for Honey. The receptionist was great at getting Honey in at the last minute. Dr. O'Neil and all of her staff have treated us with caring, friendly, and excellent care. We would highly recommend Dr. O'Neil and the staff at Austintown Veterinary Clinic.

We thank our lucky stars for this vet clinic in our area. Dr. O’Neill takes such great care of our fur baby. Her exams are very thorough and she takes time to explain everything and address any questions or concerns we may have. Front desk personnel, vet technicians, and everyone we’ve had interactions with there are awesome. We highly recommend Dr. O’Neill and this vet office!!
