Just took my cat here for the first time. The exam was thorough and the doctor explained my cat's health status in detail as well as the follow up plan. They put him at ease because he was scared when we arrived. We both were very pleased.

After rescuing a very young stray kitten, I took him to meadowlands vet. The staff was extremely friendly! I was extremely nervous that I couldn’t go inside with my pet during his exam due to covid, but after meeting the tech when she came out to get him I had a much better feeling about it! After finding out my cat tested positive for roundworm, they stayed late at the office to ensure I could pick up his medication before the long weekend. All of the staff are very kind, professional, and informative. I will definitely continue bringing my pets here and I recommend this place to everyone!

My 2 ferrets see Dr. McKinley and she is wonderful, so is all of the other staff I have talked to. I was so happy to find a vet around here that sees and actually has knowledge in ferrets!

I had my first appointment here last week and everyone I dealt with was beyond helpful and so friendly. Every phone call was friendly and kind. They understood my money situation and gave me options for future care which was amazing. The price you pay for the quality of care is great. They gave me all the information I needed and more and I am beyond grateful for that. They truly care here!

Extremely disappointed with my recent experiences at Meadowlands. We have 3 cats and unfortunately will be calling tomorrow to request their medical records and find a new care provider. I recently adopted a new cat and called on 7/20 to schedule an appointment, which was confirmed for 7/29 at 4 PM. I had to call off of work to attend this appointment. When I arrived to the appointment and called to check in, I was told by the receptionist that there was no record of my appointment and that my slot had been taken. After providing the details of my call log and record of the scheduling call, I asked if they could squeeze me in or if the doctor would be able to stay late to honor the appointment. When those options were exhausted, I asked what they could do to make the situation right and all they could offer was a reschedule. No empathy or customer service from the receptionist and no acknowledgment of the scheduling error. Prior to this, I had adopted a kitten. I went to 2 kitten visits as directed by the office staff. When I went to schedule the neuter surgery for my kitten a few months later, I was informed that I had "missed" the 3rd and 4th kitten visits. In actuality, the office staff never informed me that there should be a 3rd and 4th visit. So my kitten missed out on necessary care due to another office staff miscommunication. I requested to schedule a call with the office manager about both of these issues and was hung up on while about to give my phone number to be contacted. I will be cancelling the upcoming scheduled surgery and moving to a new veterinarian. As far as I know, the quality of care is good but unfortunately Meadowlands lost a customer today due to poor office management. EDIT: When my girlfriend called to discuss further and request the medical records, the receptionist denied that I was hung up on previously and then said "I am hanging up now" and ended the call. Meadowlands seems to show a general lack of ownership of their own mistakes and doesn't know the first thing about how to treat a customer. EDIT 2: They had us come back later that day and the care was excellent. Unfortunately, the front desk service severely impacted our experience though.

Awesome staff and doctor I had to find a new place after covid and I can not go in and I do hate that. But my dogs come out happy everytime and they communicate very well love this place

I have been coming here for years and since doc has not been there lately it just hasn't been the same. Yesterday I called to set up an appointment for my Cavalier. I told Mallory we were just coming off the flu and I thought maybe Tebow got sick and not eating so she said to bring him in. Today I receive a phone call and the female caller (concerned for their health and safety which I totally understand) asks me if we are sick. I explained that I told Mallory that and the caller acted shocked and said we would have to cancel the appointment. I was very upset so I said I would take him somewhere else then. Is there a reason you couldn't have thought outside the box. MY DOG IS SICK shouldn't you be concerned about him as well as yourself? Isn't that what this business is about? Again, I get it you don't want to get sick, but why couldn't this have been a drop off appt? There was a way around me coming in there an you treating my dog. SUPER DISAPPOINTED in how we were treated today.

This place is wonderful. They have the capability to do surgeries and everyday vet visits. They did my dogs ACL surgery. Everything went very good and they are all so warm and loving to my dog at every check up! With other vets my dog was afraid to go in but here she isn't.

Dr. McKinley is great! The office staff are always so helpful and accommodating. Our fur baby is in good hands when in the care of Medowlands. Their hours are extended and it’s easy to schedule an appointment. Great location; close to home.

My dogs have been coming here since we got them. The office is inviting, everyone who works here clearly loves animals. Everyone is so nice! Dr. Slobody is great, all the techs are so wonderful. I know when I bring my pups here they're in good hands. Worth every penny. ????

I asked for my dogs claws to be cut. She told me they were short and only needed to be trimmed. They haven’t been trimmed since February. I experienced a deep scratch the very day he chameleon home.
