This place charges highway robbery to look at your animals. We wanted to bring our 2 cats in for an annual check up since our old vet retired and they tricked us into signing a contract for the whole year and boy is canceling that expensive. We'll never be returning.

Dropped my dog off for her visit. I would like to meet the Vet who took care of her. But I didn't. The receptionist refused to correct the spelling of my name.

Purchased first alert flea and tick med you apply to back of dog. Totally left bleached stains on our new furniture. Stay away from this Med.. $2k in damage. Let Banfield know plus company producing the med. You have been warned...

My dog had a dramatic change in health in less than 72hrs. He had became blind, had blood in both his retina’s and was just going down hill fast. I’ve been dealing with banfield almost the entire the entire I have owned my dog (almost 12yrs) at this point I’m beyond disgusted with how we were just treated. I called Monday morning to discuss his drastic changes an felt like it was brushed off in a sense. They couldn’t get him in until the 23rd and my baby needed to be seen that day or asap I called several times between Monday and Tuesday pretty much begging for them to find a way to get in. I was told to take him somewhere else while I pay a monthly subscription to his wellness plan for this company. Yesterday both his eyes were pure blood filled and was draining blot and blots he had developed small bruises all over him an was completely blind struggling just to go to the bathroom. I had called every vet in Erie and they gave me the same bullshit line this place did, ALL OF THEM KEPT REFUSING TO SEE HIM AND EXPECTED ME TO DRIVE HIM TO PITTSBURGH OR CLEVELAND TO HAVE HIM SEEN AT A EMERGENCY PET HOSPITAL. I had no choice but to take him to a vet that made a massive effort to get him by 4:30p yesterday an unfortunately by this time it was too late and my only option was to put him down at 5:03pm last night I had to say good bye to my baby and held him till he took his last breath. Never again will I deal with banfield hospital at all. The way we were treated during this process was unacceptable and just disgusting. My account with them was on hold at the time but I was recently laid off from USPS and was struggling to make ends, I feel like this was the underline reason why we were being refused to be seen on a emergency visit. I do not recommend banfield pet hospital to anyone you are only a dollar sign to them they really don’t care about you and your animals.

Only took my baby there once (1 year old cat) and never again. I explained his symptoms and that his bathroom habits were off. They told me to bring him in for a urine analysis but once I got there told me they weren’t able to test it because he peed in his cage (other vet offices told me how disappointing that is because they have gotten samples from the cage).. anyways they told me I’d need to reschedule and come back another time but weren’t available for another appointment 4-6 weeks out. They then conned me into allowing blood work which was an additional $300 just for them to say he was perfectly healthy & that must not be his issue when I told them dropping off I am 99% it is a uti and that i just wanted verification so that I could get him meds. They then tried to give me a litter sample to later drop off a urine sample just to spend another $150… a few weeks later I took my cat to big creek & right away they diagnosed him with a UTI. Banfield only cares about the money!

$191!!!!!!!! I called to ask if they could euthanize our 9 year old guinea pig, she was struggling in pain. I Was told “no they do not see small pets” and then was put on hold. The doctor said she could euthanize her and it never crossed my mind in the moment to ask how much. (we put our 20pound cat down for $65 elsewhere.)Couldn’t be more than that, right!? They charged us $191!!!!!!! They added in an office visit, exam fee, $50 ,sedation shot $28 and $90 for the euthanasia medicine etc!! . I never asked for her to be seen, there was no saving her,she was dying. She was 9! We won’t ever go back here again. Totally appalled. And we took our dogs there for years. Not anymore!!

Only used Banfield once and never again. I can't put my trust into a vet that tells me " I don't know, I'm going to go look through some books ". Needless to say, I left and took my pet to another vet. He instantly knew what was wrong and prescribed the medication that was needed.

You overbook...you should always leave openings for pets that have issues that need immediate attention.

Dr. Allison Spansky is the BEST. CARING VETERINARIAN I have ever had. I have followed her everywhere. She cares so much for animal's and the owners as well. I can not say enough about her. When I had to put one of my animals down, she cried right along with me.

I recently got a puppy and moved to the area and was looking for a vet. I am exceptional happy with choosing Banfield Pet Hospital. The hours are extremely accommodating, and the drop off procedure is very helpful. Recently my puppy was neutered and he chewed his ecollar same day and they willing issued a refund so I could get a different one at the petstore. I am very pleased.

We have been to both the South Euclid and Willoughby Banfield locations, and after a couple of negative experiences with the staff at the South Euclid location, I feel strongly inclined to leave a superior review about the Willoughby location. From front to back, the Willoughby Banfield far exceeds any and all expectations of a veterinarian office- in customer service, communication, and the care given to our animals. I have spoken to both Dr. Raj and Dr. Ervine regarding care given to my dogs, and they are the most loving, caring veterinarians I have spoken to in all of my years of being a pet owner (even in comparison to private clinics we have gone to in the past). The Membership plan attracted us to choose Banfield for the care of our pets when the COVID 19 pandemic happened, and things became difficult for our family financially. The Willoughby office is comfortable, caring, and all of the team goes above and beyond to treat you AND your animals well. I highly recommend this office for your pets care.

We travel a lot and we had Sadie going to Banfield ever since 2015 and have never had any issues. We cannot say enough good things about this Banfield! Unfortunately we did not have a good outcome but this was no fault of theirs. Unbeknownst to us Sadie was very ill and we did not have a good outcome. They sent us to the VCA hospital in Findlay, OH since she was so ill the first day we were there and she lived for 1 week after that. They called us later to find out how she was doing and we broke the news to them. After we returned back to Florida, we received the nicest sympathy card from them and the staff had signed it. What a wonderful, caring, sympathetic group of people! We are so heartbroken that our little angel who we had rescued 8 years ago is no longer here! Thanks for a wonderful experience and we will highly recommend Banfield to all of our pet parents!

This Banfield location is irresponsibly overbooked. Have an emergency with your pet? Sorry, your own vet can’t help you because they’re overbooked. I pay for a wellness plan and they are not able to provide the services that I pay for. Need a regular wellness check up or a teeth cleaning? Good luck getting an appointment while your plan is still valid. I have to drive an hour away to the Aurora Banfield for an emergency instead. They are much more organized and professional at that location.
