Healthy Pet Grooming Wexford, Ohio

We took our dog in for our 2nd grooming and was not as rewarding as our 1st experience. We tried calling and left a message on the VM but nobody got back to us. Very dissatisfied with their services and professionalism.

Great experience! Did self wash with our 2 bigger pups, they had everything we needed including multiple brush options and a super dryer. The staff was super nice and they trimmed the pups nails, and did great. Making this our go to self wash place!

Grooming staff is friendly and accommodating. They look after their clients' pets and care about them beyond grooming - our groomer Pat let's us know if our pup is acting out of the ordinary during any visits and points out any issues she might find while grooming. They are also always on time: never have to wait to have them take our dog back. Prices are more than reasonable for the great service they provide.

Took my dog here because their website states they work with special needs dogs and they personalize the cost by dog (none of which is true). The groomer was 20 minutes late, my dog’s face wasn’t cut and had patches of long hair all over his body. They made me pay full price for absolutely nothing. When I questioned the price I was told “we’re cheaper than Pet Smart”. I informed her I actually paid less and received better service at Pet Smart, they at least trimmed my dog. This place needs to learn business etiquette.

This was my second visit to Healthy Pet Grooming since we got our Labradoodle. The first visit was the puppy's first grooming and while it was a little pricey, the grooming was good. My second visit not so much. At drop off, the person checking him in looked him over and advised the dog's coat was matted and would get the groomer. It was said in a way that made me feel awful like I abused my dog. The groomer said in a disapproving tone, that's bad matting while the other said we need him to sign the form. The form is three paragraphs in 10 font maybe 500 words. I'm not reading a form while trying to control my excited puppy and deal with the guilt these people are laying down. At pick up I'm charged the $85 grooming fee, then additional charges unknown to me of $30 rough in and $10 extra time. Then on top of getting duped into paying 50% more than I was quoted, the groomer saved the dogs pelt to show me what an awful person I am to allow my dog's coat to get matted! Nothing like being kicked when your down. I shared my disappointment in the extra fees and was told, "You signed the form". There are many groomers out there, I think I may start looking for a new one.

I really love taking my bichpoo Mya here. They are always so nice when we arrive. Lauren does such a nice job on my dog.

I took my puppy there right before Easter, a few days later she was diagnosed with kennel cough. Per vets instructions, I called to share this for concern of others pets contacting it. The manager was rude , I wasn't trying to blame anyone just making this known for sanitation purposes. She continued it didn't happen here very rudely. Now mind you, this is the only place my dog went to, but either way I wasn't blaming and she continued with her rude come backs. I will not be returning due to the behavior of the manager.

I took my dog to Healthy Pet Grooming and he came back smelling fresh and looking amazing. When I went to check out, the manager was so nice and was very helpful with my questions. Later I called and thanked the bather, Kylie, and the groomer. (Can’t quite remember her name????) definitely bringing my dog back here. Everyone is so nice, and I definitely recommend Healthy Pet Grooming!!

They do great job on our Dachshund. He has a bad back and they obviously take great care with him.

I can’t say enough good things about all the wonderful women who work here! They truly care about your pet, and they did a phenomenal job on my Bernese mountain dog! Wonderful place and I highly recommend!!

Amazing self wash or full service grooming shop that also carries excellent foods. I live far away but make the drive because no other place compares to it. The staff is friendly and helpful and always get me what I need.

We took our Alaskan malamute there for the first time she was a mess she was matted and needed a makeover from the long winter. They were wonderful . She came out looking like a new dog and as white as snow . They were all very nice and took great care of her. Thank you we will be back

I have taken my Mini Australian Shepard here once a month for almost a year now, and I don't plan on going anywhere else. The facility is clean and the groomers are kind. I have never had an issue, and he always looks great afterwards. Ask for Lainey! She is calm and is able to work with animals who don't necessarily want to be there or away from their owners- like my dog.

The staff is very unfriendly and unwelcoming. One worker sat on her cellphone as the store phone continued to ring. The haircut for our dog was not worth the price as well. Uneven, bald spot, etc.

Healthy pets grooming does an excellent job and takes excellent care of your pet! I have a Labradoodle and he’s very difficult to groom. I’ve tried many places, but healthy pets grooming does the best job.

The staff are good people who care about your dog. I've never left feeling like they didn't do exactly what we wanted.

My dog is always very excited when we ask: "are you ready to go get beautiful?" He knows Healthy Pet well and always comes out looking great. I like that it is open on Sundays. The service is fast yet not 'rushed'. The staff is very welcoming and they take very good care. My dog is a total wiggle-worm so I know it can't be easy. I'm glad to have found this place! :)

Our pug was there today for her bath, nails etc. They are awesome and guick! She looks so clean and her nails are cut and drummel to perfection! We are going back. Ty
