Great staff. Doctor very informative!

Most unprofessional, abrasive, condescending individual.....inquires how one earns one's living, why? Manhandled my dying, aged feline, making puncture after puncture after puncture with a thick gauged needle in my highly distressed, dying feline's neck...who draws blood by puncturing an animal's neck? It's the paw, always.

Take my dog here. It's a small vets office but he really knows what he's doing and is very clear on his directions.

Dr. Schueger is the best when it comes to quality care for your pet. He's amazing with animals and is SO knowledgable but explains everything in a way that makes sense to you! Prices are also cheaper than most clinics around this area and usually products are a better price than online! Jessi and Kona love Thornwood ????

The staff is terrific. As for the Doctor, you can decide for yourself. I find him very condescending and unfriendly. Don't be surprised when he asks you what your education level is.

The vet at Thornwood is very good. He's compassionate about animals and he knows his work. I would not take or trust my animals to another veterinarian. The staff are very kind and compassionate also. Dr. Schuerger and his staff are the best!!

Dr. Schuerger saved my dog's life from a heartworm infection! He was very concerned and did much research to be certain that he was providing the latest, most accurate care in heartworm treatment. The process is lengthy and difficult, but Dr. Schuerger was supportive at every step. I'm so grateful for the care he provided. We have taken our dogs to him for decades and feel that they have received the best in care. The staff is wonderful, too.

Horrible place. Was waiting for over twenty minutes after appointment. Vet was so unfriendly and unkind, didn't even pet my dog. Unnecessarily restrained her, and was rougher than he had to be. She was terrified.

The doctor is the most condescending individual I have ever encountered. I NEVER write reviews but I want it to be made known that this vet is horrible. Avoid this place is you want a kind, welcoming environment for you and your pet.

Staff is knowledgeable and very compassionate. Doc lays it all out and lets you know all your options when its time to make that dreaded decision.

The doctor acted like he didn't really care was just going through the motions

I used to take my dog to "VCA Met Vet West Animal Hospital" in Robinson and when he got neutered there & we went back for his checkup to see how he was healing, I noticed he started scratching at his ears. I asked the tech, after the vet looked at the stitches, can hey please look at my dog's ears (which takes a sec) to make sure nothing is wrong. The tech came back and said that the vet said "I am only scheduled for check up on the neutering that they could not look at his ears" Ummm... Immediately found a new vet.. Here at Thornwood Veterinary Hospital. This vet is SO THOROUGH EVERY appt, that you KNOW your pet WILL be in good hands. I LOVE this place!
