Dr. Cunningham and staff were great. Our 9-week old puppy went through his first appointment and came back home in a great mood. Highly recommend.

We love Detroit Dover animal hospital!! My dog is 16 and they treat him with tenderness and care… my pup loves going to see the pros at DDAH. They always take the time to answer my many questions. The staff is friendly, professional, kind, and genuinely care for my pet as much as I do!

We have been taking our pets to Detroit Dover Animal Hospital since 1997. The staff has always been remarkably kind and patient, and we have no doubt that our pets have received the most thorough and careful care that is possible. Lately, we have been bringing our cat to see Dr. Skebe for regular checkups to address some possible age-related health issues. She always calls as soon as possible with lab results and takes the time to answer all of our questions. We are very grateful for the excellent quality of service provided by the Detroit Dover Animal Hospital, and we would highly recommend it for pet parents who are in need of care.

Took good care of my dog who needed urgent care.

Dr. Cunningham has always given our 5-year old dog the best care. Never “over treats” and always tries the obvious and easy treatment options first before moving on to more invasive (and expensive) treatments.

With out being able to go inside because of this lousy Covid19 I can only say so much. The staff was Very easy to deal with and the doctor explained everything to me that was easy to understand. I guess a very nice bedside manner

As always, Dr. Skebe was very caring, kind, and gentle with my kitty Goose. She evaluated the issue and made a good recommendation for an initial step in his care plan and next steps if the initial treatment didn’t address the issue. She’s helped him with another in the past as well as issues my previous two kitties had and we very much appreciate the care she provides.

Dr Cunningham and the techs are great with Ginger. The staff is always very professional.

Dr. Cunningham and his technicians and staff are all top notch. Over the past 20 years I've entrusted Dr. C. with the care of all my animals "Oscar" is a rescue that I've had for about 3 yrs and he's "my boy". I brought him in 4 a routine teeth cleaning , exam, charting and so forth. I was asked if I wanted the doctor to do any extractions if necessary? I replied well hopefully there won't be any but I trust dr C's judgment. I was really surprised when he called me and told me he had to extract 12 of Oscar's teeth. Oscar is recovering at home, first day after the surgery. I feel a little guilty about putting him through all that but who knows what level of discomfort he may have been feeling or was yet to feel. Doctor C and technicians, thank you! I think we may have saved his life

Dr. Skeby and the entire staff at Detroit Dover Animal Hospital was fantastic !!! After having a negative experience with another vet, and having sadly lost Leo, one of my young male cats, I was anxious to find a positive welcoming place who would help with Leo’s very depressed litter mate, Archie (and me ????).. I’m so VERY glad I found them and look forward to regular healthy visits in the future with Archie and any new buddies he may have ????.

Brought two dogs in, one puppy one 15 years old. Had blood work done on old dog got call next day with the results, by the vet, not an assistant. Explained everything well. Dogs got shots and didn't seem traumatized. Excellent experience. Only negative was on the heartworm, rx is guarded as we have found at many vets. They prefer you get your meds through them rather than mail order or Costco where they don't make the money. (My opinion). We will continue to use them. They also board if needed.

Staff was very friendly. Working in any kind of health setting nowadays is rough, so to see that all of the staff genuinely seemed happy to be there was heartwarming. My kitty's vet, Dr. Walker, personally left me a voicemail that I missed, so I called her back 2 days later. I figured that she would relay the message to someone else (which would be completely understandable), but she personally called me back. I've been going to this veterinary clinic for almost a year now and have had a great experience here thus far.

Many thanks to Dr Skebe for fitting us in for an emergency visit to treat a condition that just kept getting worse as we waited for our regular appt. It is so difficult to watch your pup in pain. So very grateful!!

I was really worried about Sadie needing anesthesia to have her teeth cleaned as I’m sure every other pet mother would. The staff at Detroit Dover are so kind and caring and that is what helped me. They know Sadie and really seem to like her a lot. Dr Hughes is wonderfully kind and professional. She explained everything to me in detail which is what I like as a Dr. be it for humans or animals.I will be coming to DD fir as long as Sadie needs them. Thanks ????

When my pup had a bad cough they were able to get me in to see a doctor right away. The staff is wonderful and clearly have a passion for our furry friends

Well my son brought his dog in because soft tissue injury you said it was nothing to worry about. Had it remove at a different clinic.it was cancer. Today he had to put his beloved dog down.

Our visit this time was for an allergy injection that the tech administered. The rep that took beignet knows her and is always so kind and beignet is always happy to see her. We’ve been clients for 20+ years with a variety of cats and our dog beignet for the last 8 years. Thanks for taking such good care of our family.

I paid 355 dollars to get a cat neutered which I feel is beyond redic. I didnt Even spend that much on my dog. Not to mention the 80$ I had to spend days before for a pre exam. I feel Like the prices are outrageous and for that I’ll never be going back.

I had an emergency with my dog.. they got me in right away (with in 15 minutes of calling!!) the staff took wonderful care of my girl!! I can’t say enough about how wonderful the entire staff is at Detroit Dover.. our Vet Tech Megan D was amazing with our scared, sick pup!! I highly recommend!!
