Camp Bow Wow is great! My dog gets just as excited when I say “let’s go to camp” as “do you wanna go on a walk”! The staff is always helpful and excited to see the dogs. Love the pool in the summer, my dog doesn’t like water but sure enjoys that little pool. They have the best boarding deal of any place because you can drop the dog off whenever the day they board and can pick them up anytime until the close the day of pick up for no charge. Most places charge a daycare + boarding if not picked up before noon which is usually tough when traveling; CBW’s unique approach including daycare in boarding is why I only choose them.

My 2 dogs go to camp 3 to 4 times a week. They come home tired and content. The staff is friendly and really great with the girls. I feel the dogs are as loved at Camp as they are at home. The camper cam means I can check in on them when I have a free minute. I have used the boarding services for vacation, the dogs are well cared-for. A really great environment for your pet when you can't be with them!

Our dog, Sadie, was welcomed here. She loves playing with the other dogs there and the staff was very accepting of her shy attitude at first. With our dog being from a shelter, she was a bit shy and nervous at first. But, the staff was really accommodating and sweet. It's certainly a place I trust leaving my dog.

Very friendly staff. The grooming job was just what I asked for. Our first time. Our dog is old but they treated him beautifully. Derby and I have already scheduled his next appointment.????

The staff is kind and accommodating and really cares about the dogs left to their care .We have used them frequently for vacations and play days. Our dog loves it there, running for the door after we park the car. Thank you Camp Bow Wow for the great service and care! The Yonkof family.

We took our 7 month old puppy to camp bow wow for two days. He was placed in a room with dogs who were much older and much larger than him. The rooms were crowed with way too many dogs in a room. The dogs were left with no toys to play with, yes there is a yard with a bridge and pool, but that is it. When we took him home, we noticed bite marks all over his body in places where he clearly cannot reach on his own. He has a clear outline of teeth marks around his eye and on the top of his head. When I called to report concerns that dogs were being aggressive toward my puppy, the workers blamed my dog for the injuries. They claimed he was the one playing too rough. I watched him on the camp’s live videos all day. He wasn’t playing rough. He stood in the pool, looked sad and dejected in a corner, and had large dogs piling on top of him all day. I also have numerous reports from his previous doggy daycare that he is the most gentle dog when it comes to playing with other dogs. My dog is not perfect, but he is not aggressive and the camp should take responsibility for what happened to him. Do not send your dog to this camp if you value their health and safety.

Camp Bow Wow has been nothing but wonderful to us. We absolutely love this place. There are a few doggy daycares that are closer to us (we live in Lakewood), but this place is worth the drive. Everyone that works there is great, especially Amanda!

Nirvana loves hanging with her friends at Camp BowWow. More importantly she gets a chance to exercise and gets into far less trouble when she gets home since she’s had a chance to get her energy out in a safe caring environment with wonderful staff overseeing everything.

I need to reconsider my rave review of camp bowwow after they just banned baxter for aggressive behavior. I understand a dog's behavior is relevant to his privileges but considering bax & his behaviors being inappropriate were never discussed with myself, my partner, or daughter and since he has seen their groomers a couple of times, their obedience trainer to begin setting him up for citizenship plus all the days spent there where I personally can watch video from home I would assume a company would at the very least insist on baxter spending more time with trainer prior to banning him after I spent around $300 at their facility in less than a month between membership fees, grooming and training, grooming and membership fees in March, February and January. No communication...just banned.

My dog has not been to camp bow wow Westlake for now almost 9 months. He is still throwing up from tags they put on dogs for overnight stays. He is now at tag 14 passed either by mouth or in his poop. One event caused pneumonia from aspirated vomit. Neither CBW Westlake nor corporate offered any real concern, either by way of conversation or monetarily to cover vet expenses or lost work time. When first presented to corporate we were told "he must be really quick." Owner Stephanie McMillion showed zero remorse despite wanton negligence of her staff and pointed to the form that you sign when joining CBW that they're not responsible for any injuries that occur. I absolutely would not recommend the services of this establishment. I am not the only review that says as such about injury. This is now 14 times my dog has spent the morning vomitting uncontrollably, 14 times he's been in pain from the negligence of this establishment let alone the discomfort that must continue every day from the pieces of plastic in his stomach. Edit: now at 16

I've used Camp Bow Wow for boarding and for daycare services. They have always treated my dogs well and go out of their way to let me know how they are doing. It is also great to be able to peak in at them on their webcam.

Will never take my dog or recommend anyone take their dog to this facility. Dogs are left unattended, treated poorly for normal dog behavior, and the owner of this center is incredibly rude. Edit: my dog has been incredibly ill for over two months since his visit. He has contracted pneumonia from aspirating on his vomit due to their lack of care. When we informed the camp of what was happening they told us "not our problem". They refused any assistance with his care. They also refused to offer any sense of concern. The owner of this facility does not care about your animals, the treatment of your animals, or if they get severely injured during their stay. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dog death trap.

Everyone is so friendly. They know my dog by name when we drop him off. My dog absolutely loves going here and when he gets home at night is completely tuckered out. We're moving to a different city and we still plan to bring him to Bow Wow on the weekends because he/we love it so much.
