Caring, patient, and helpful staff throughout the visit!

If your dog actually has an emergency or needs to be seen quickly, avoid this place. We have been customers for over 12 years and still don't understand why we keep coming back. The front desk staff is rude and they won't make any concessions. Dog has ear infection, takes 10 minutes to see him and they can't squeeze him in. We ask for a refill for a prescription, a condition our dog has had his entire life and they won't refill without seeing him. Last straw was when our dog twisted his foot, they close at noon. I called at 8am and asked desperately to have him seen. Typical, nope can't help you, Vet is full. I asked for pain relief and nope, can't help you. No compassion. Terrible. I wish I could have given them negative stars.

Quick process. My cat had his shots and excellent care with no fuss. Highly recommend whole experience from the veterinarian to office team.

Having been to a very large "premium" vet in Parma and paid premium prices, Rocky River Animal Hospital is a breath of fresh air. Dr Madden is easy to talk with and our dog loves her. I'm glad to have found our vet!

Kind, professional staff and surprisingly short wait. The vet was clear about what she thought was wrong despite not being able to test my cat and gave me advice on what to do in the future to help my cat. I was grateful for all the staff members compassionate care.

If I could a million stars I could! Our 6 month lab ate one of my undergarments and I instantly called them when they opened. They got him in right away and acted promptly getting out the article of clothing without needing any surgery. The vet was amazing and was so sincere and heart felt. We now know Where we will be taking Charlie from now on! On top of that prices were beyond reasonable. If you are looking for a vet please come here!!

Dr. Madden is so friendly and so great to work with. Max was very shy and scared and Dr. Madden was able to calm him down almost instantly. Dr. Madden took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. Highly recommended.

Mine and Ziggy's first visit to the vet. Dr. Madden was excellent with Ziggy (10 weeks old Basenji). I can honestly say the whole Rocky River Animal Hospital staff make you feel welcome. Dr. Madden gave me some valuable information for a new puppy and I couldn't ask for a more caring staff.

A little pricy, but the veterinarians are amazing, the receptionist however is incredibly rude.

My husband and I moved here a little over a year ago. We chose RRAH because it is really close to where we live. However, every time we've called or been in the office the front staff is extremely rude and not accommodating. The customer service is terrible.

Great service all around. The vet performed a fantastic surgery to fix a "botch" job from another vet. The staff here is great and very friendly!

Good vet services, but some members of the front desk staff are very frustrating to deal with at times. They insist on fax for most communication - “we don’t do email” - but most people don’t have fax machines. I understand HIPPA privacy, but again, just frustrating when secured email or messaging could be used.

RRAH did an exceptional job taking care of my dog after he was bit by another dog. The care was excellent, the staff professional and the cost was fair. I dropped off the dog at 8:30 and the doctor called a short time later explaining the procedure and the cost. I picked him up at 2:00. All worked well. I was a walk-in because our previous vet's staff told me to take him to the Animal Emergency Hospital because they considered stitches surgery and will not do surgery on a Monday morning. Also, they even wouldn't let me leave the dog for the doctor to see him. They told me to come back at the appointment time, even though I showed the vet tech the deep bite marks. After 20 years, my relationship with this vet was over and I'm taking him to Rocky River Animal Hospital for all future needs.

By far the nicest most honest clinic. I will never take my animals anywhere else. The doctor does not try and push exspensive proceedures that may not even help my dog,but rather simple ways to help manage his situation. I worked at vet clinics most of my adult life in Colorado and was exspecting a plethora of rads, blood work ect and feeling gulit at not being able to afford those treatments. I was so impressed with the compation and awareness that treatments are not cheap and starting at the basics and working up, not the other way around. Thank you to the entire staff and doctors for helping me help my buddy ♡
