Dr "A" and his staff are absolutely amazing. Dr A actually takes the time time to explain things to you in terms that you will understand. He is very patient asks a lot of questions and is extremely detail oriented. He will give you honest suggestions and recommendations and it won't cost you an arm and a leg! All the ladies who work here are friendly, understanding and very accommodating. We love this group!

I gave it two stars only because the Doctor is great and very knowledgeable. However, I wasn't happy with the staff. I felt like I'm just a number. I was convinced my dog needed to be put down. I called and was told to come in right away. I understand there might be a wait. When I came in they didn't know why I was there. I had 4 different people come up to me and ask who we were and why we were there. I'm in tears the whole time this was happening. 3 different times I called a head and asked to have his medication ready I was on my lunch break. I got there and nothing was ready. Then I had to repeat everything I needed. If the phone rings they made u wait until they're done with the call. They are way under staffed. I have switch vets because of this.

Dr. A and the entire staff are amazing! They truly treat the pets (and their humans) like family :-)

We love Westside Veterinary Hospital!! They have from the very beginning taken awesome care of Cami and her puppies!! We are so appreciative of all that they have done for us!!!

Dr A truly cares about animals and their families. Money does not drive this business, passion empathy and love does. I drive an hour to bring my pets to Dr A and am so grateful I found his practice!

They were friendly and courtesy they listen to what we had to say. Are cat was treated with the up most respect, yes l would recommend this place to anyone in need of a vet.

Do not go to this place, are you going to do was call and you would not want to go need I say more if the employees are the way they are when you answer the phone wait till you get there

Very nice and great vet

Dr A is the best!!! I am a human doctor and was unhappy at West Toledo after they missed my dog’s throat cancer. Dr A does a thorough physical exam and explains things well. He astutely picked up on some additional lymph nodes missed at other vets. He was super caring and i am happy my dog got to pass peacefully with a Vet that cared about him. I was always able to call and ask med questions. Staff is great and always calls back the same day!!!

Last year we got a new rabbit and had no idea of the gender. I was recommended to them by some amazing people. They were able to schedule me an appointment a couple hours after I called. Super awesome on that note. When we got there, I didnt mind waiting a bit because they were fairly busy and I was just appreciative of being able to get an appointment the same day. After that, things declined. The doctor checked and found out my rabbit was a beautiful girl! He did a very speedy and vague exam to make sure she was all right. I tried to ask a few questions since I'm new to rabbit owning and he seemed annoyed. I also asked if he could weigh her for me so I knew how much she weighed. The lovely assistant was doing amazing trying to calmly and carefully remover her from the carrier again, but the doctor was impatient, grabbed the carrier and reached in and pulled her out rather aggressively by her ears. I was very disappointed in the lack of compassion he showed for her. There were some truly kind people in that office, but I will not be returning because of that doctor. I hate to leave reviews, especially bad ones, but the way he treated my rabbit was just not acceptable and I feel others should be aware.

Dr A was very informative and wants to find the best solution for my scooter so that he is a happy dig again he listened to me and then came about with a few solutions

Dr. A is great. Professional, thorough, and compassionate. Staff is always kind and helpful. This is where I will take my animals until Dr. A retires or I move too far away.

They were very kind and caring. I had to put my 16 year old cat down.

Such a friendly staff you can tell they care about animals. My dog snoopy had to get a ultrasound since he had a mass on a x-ray showing in spleen , large. Being a new client they got me in a couple days for ultrasound then in 2 days for surgery. His spleen could have burst thankfully such a good dr. Acted quickly the next day had surgery. He is heeling & happy for now.

There is no better place to take your pet! Dr. A and his staff are the best of the best. Genuine, compassionate, knowledgeable, and generously priced, Dr. A is the complete package when it comes to your pet's health and wellness.

Lady on the phone did either not know or care about what she was doing. I hung up not shortly after, I’m never rude like that but she kept sighing everytime I politely asked her something even.

Definitely the best vet I’ve come across! The staff truly cares, they don’t overcharge, and Dr. A is truly dedicated to helping our pets. He even stayed overnight when my dog was having a cluster of seizures. They really go above and beyond. Highly recommend!!

2/12/21 1st visit for 2, 8wk old female chihuahuas! Very happy w the vet!!! He explained the exams very well,& what to watch for. Was happy with the entire visit for our puppy daughters new puppy dr! Really grateful for meeting this vet & his staff. He answered all my questions. We will most definitely stay w this vet!!! ???????? Laci & Lola

I only have good things to say!!! Excellent! The place was very clean. The staff was friendly and of course.... I love Dr. A He took a lot of time explaining things to me about my newly rescued pitbull. Even showed me how to trim her nails! Thank you so much!
