Our 2 cats Anzu and Momo boarded there 12 days and seemed very peaceful and happy when we picked them up. They sent us cute photos of them on Christmas.

Would highly recommended Karnak pet lodge. They took great care of our standard poodle Stella. Very good PR with pet parents. I was also very impressed how personal they treat you over the phone. That one me over when choosing were I would leave her.

I moved to Toledo, Ohio and just recently found an outstanding vet for my baby girl, Lulu. She has had the same vet since birth and I always boarded her with the people she knew, and who already loved her. I asked my new vet for approval on the boarding situation, as I had a 9 day vacation planned, and they were very pleased that I had chosen Karnik to care for my girl while I was gone. I had a lot of anxiety about leaving her for that extended amount of time, but they were very welcoming, and had some wonderful packages to choose from to keep her busy and occupied each day, and a belly rub and tuck in each night! When I came to get her, they had given her a special Christmas treat, a kerchief around her neck (pink of course), and she was in very good hands. Love this place. I can’t thank them enough. The staff is wonderful, cheerful, loving, and helpful. This will be her place to stay in the future whenever I need to board her!❤️ A huge thank you to them.

I just started bringing my four month old puppy for boarding and daycare. The staff is great. They are very accommodating and helpful. The staff takes the time to explain their rules. They also take the time to get to know my pet. The facilities are very clean. I would recommend Karnik for any and all pet services.

It was my first time boarding in a long long time and it was an amazing experience! My pups had come in previously for a play evaluation, and when I brought them in to stay the night they actually ran back to the area with excitement- I knew I had nothing to worry about! I got to check in on them with the cameras and they were able to stay in the same space and keep one another company. I feel so much better about going out of town in the future, or just dropping them for a play day!

I send my small dog (27lbs) here for boarding. I toured a couple of other facilities before choosing Karnik. The other places either told me they were going to leave him in the kennel for a majority of the weekend or charged 2x as much as Karnik for the same services. Karnik has daycare packages and webcam links so I can make sure my dog is enjoying his time away from home.

I cannot say enough good things about Karnik! I adopted a breeder dog who was extremely under socialized and within her 3rd visit to daycare she was already excited when we pulled into the parking lot. The staff is so nice and always knows us when we walk in . The facility is clean and open. I recently boarded her for 3 nights and i picked her up she was happy as could be and smelled amazing after her morning bath. Thank you Karnik for all you do for our kiddos!

They did very well with my parents dog. Rosie was a little upset at everyone. She probably felt abandoned and fearfull. This was her very first time being away from us. And one of the women there went above and beyond to get her out of that. Because she believed in Rosie that she was a good dog. So she took her and loved on her and made her feel comfortable. And she was just so happy after that. I am so thankful someone would do that. Taking a risk knowing it was just because Rosie was scared of the new place. And knowing someone will go above and beyond to make our dogs comfortable helps my fear of giving my dog to them one day if need be. All of our dogs are very special to us. So we want the best for them, and karnik proved to us they will do anything for our dogs to keep them happy and comfortable ???? thank you guys again.

Disappointing for me and a devastating experience for my dogs. My family and I chose the Central Avenue Karnik Pet Lodge to board our beloved 2 and 4yr old lovable boxers as the business advertise that they are passionate about our Pets comfort, safety and contentment, offering many years of experience. The tragedy began upon arrival as the manager Denise refused to greet or introduce our dogs to ANY staff member as we recommend so the dogs are familiar with someone. Denise stated that there are various employees who may interact with them ( she and Savanna was there every day) and further refused. Trusting that they knew best we left for A 5 day vacation. The first phone check, I was informed that the dogs did not eat, second day call, dogs not eating and won't take medications. Rather than problem solve or consider options I was informed that no further attempts to give meds would be offered, the next phone call was the dogs were not welcoming to staff, so no further attemts to walk the dogs would be made, with no options. At this point I'm out of town and very concerned for my dogs. I had to spend many hours of my vacation trying to find someone to rescue my dogs as Savanna and Denise was in communication and offered no assistance just further restrictions progressing to hands off plan as they described my dogs as rigid and growling. leaving the 2 big dogs in a 4x 8 cage with no human contact! I think the dogs were terrified and confused. After frantic persuit I reached someone familiar to go and take my dogs outside and check on them. They were found frightened, withdrawn laying in soiled bedding. My heart was broken at the lack of concern or empathy for our pets. The manager Denise had nothing to offer for assistance. I Had to pay a substantial amout of money to have someone remove my devistated pets and care for them. The final uncaring act was Savanna charged an additional $20 late pick up fee after 1pm, no apology or cocern in any way. THEY Lacked Compassion and in my opinion lacked care or concern for our dogs. I DON'T THINK 1 EMPLOYEE TOUCHED or attempted to comfort OUR DOGS. I understand the need to protect the staff, dogs are animals and frightened dogs may be unpredictable but A bit of empathy and concern for the dogs, listenening to the owner to intoduce the dog and a simple apology may have helped, but I would NOT recommend This facility for boarding my dogs ever again.

Preparation procedures showed they really cared about protecting the pups. The check-in employee spent a lot of time with me addressing all of my questions and concerns and put me at ease. The communication was excellent - while we were on vacation I could not get a phone signal; when they couldn't reach me they emailed and sent me a check in status with a photo! Check out was easy and thorough and I even got a credit for services I didn't use. Highly recommend!

Was visiting my brother. He boarded his dog there. He loves it and they love his dog!

Enzo comes home totally tired (good thing) and happy. He hasn't had any health issues related to being in daycare like kennel cough or scratches.

More than accommodating...very stressed out about leaving puppy's for the 1rst time ...

Our pup enjoyed her stay! We loved the options for different activity levels. With it being her first experience at 11, we were able to keep her stress levels minimum. We added in a bath and she came home clean and happy!

First time for our Molly to vacation at this Cat Hotel and she was pampered, well cared for and came home very happy!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. If i could get this place 0 stars i would. The employees are unprofessional! The worst faculty in the Ohio area for your dog. If you have a dog that needs even a walk daily don't take them here. They only take your dog out for 5 minutes and put them right back in the kennel. Park on the back side of body and paint shop near the building and observe for 15 minutes you'll see what i mean.

Karnik is a great daycare and boarding for our fur baby Mack.

Can’t get anyone to call me back. They answered the phone and told me they were busy and I would get a call back later. I was not expecting to wait over 24hours

Staff were very sweet and understanding with my trouble maker! Even though he has some resource guarding issues, they took the time, care and understanding to work with him. I love the flexibility of the group play or the one on one time with a staff member and the ability to switch if needed. When I called to ask how he was doing I was given a very full and detailed report and we discussed what was working for him and what wasn't. Karnik is so great they were very flexible and able to adapt to his needs. Highly recommended!!! Ryuji says we will definitely be back and thank you!! ????

Thank you for providing an excellent service. The staff took very good care of my scared kitty and helped him adjust. The staff is well-equipped and organized, and they are very responsive to check-up calls and willing to answer any questions and accommodate requests. The only concern is that they are understaffed and had a hard time with managing multiple tasks. Otherwise, my kitty thanked me for keeping him there! We’ll definitely be coming back in the future.

My dog was mad at me, but only for about 20 minutes. That means he had a great experience! They did a great job! Good listeners and caring individuals. Definitely booking here for our next vacation!

Extremely happy taking my dogs for boarding. It’s clean, everyone is so friendly and for the first time boarding them somewhere they were visibly happy. I highly recommend Karnick Inn to anyone.

Karnik was able to get my cat in last minute when my sitter bailed. The staff were super friendly and really made my cat feel at home. They took excellent care of her and even sent me a photo during the middle of her stay so I knew she was doing well.

They took really good care of Brutus, and he'll continue to come here when we can't take him with us on vacations. Everyone was really nice, and checked on him for me when I asked them to.

It was the first time my husband and I left our dog Remi for any extended period of time with someone that wasn’t family or friends. We are new to the area and searched and searched for some where we could trust and not worry. The moment I walked in it felt clean, safe and all the staff were extremely friendly to myself and my dog. They were very informative and nothing hidden. Will definitely be a return customer!

We board our cats here when out of time. They offer different size enclosures, litter, food and water, all cleaned daily. And for additional cost playtime, brushing, bathing and grooming.

I've used Karnik at Central Avenue 3 times this summer for my cats. I was reluctant because the cats have never stayed in a lodge before but the experience was so much better than I coulc have expected. They really care about the animals they have in residence. I am sure I will use them again.
