Best vet in Springfield, if ya can afford them. Before they became part of a corporation is when I started with them because they were reasonable and didn't discriminate against my Pitt Bull. Now, a regular yearly checkup cost about$240!!

Me and my wife took our German shepherd mix with elk hound in and they was going to cancel appointment until they was informed that he has taken his calming meds. They still mussled him for precaution. We are not going to bring him back after this experience.

Every time you call you cannot get in. My pet needs care and I can't get him in. They cancel your appointments and reschedule them for weeks down the road. Awful just awful. I'm moving to another vet.

Except for Dr Bruce, VCA is the armpit of vet clinics

We have been going to this place for more than 20 years, since Dr. Henry ran it out of the small building. Lately since VCA took it over it has really gone down hill. They are out to make the money, but don't care when you have a sick animal that needs to see them right away. We have tried for days to get a "same day" appointment" for our cat that is sick. They can't schedule anything that is less than 6 weeks out. We have decided to move on to another vet. It's a shame.

We have used this vet for 10+ years. Our 14 year old lab was put down for us by them a couple years ago and they were very kind. They have done dental work and surgery on our vizsla. The past 2 days my vizsla has been ill. I was told yesterday to call back this morning for a same day appointment. At 7:05 am I was told their same day apts were already taken, call back tomorrow again. We are sadly changing vets. If you can't get a sick apt for 3 days that's unacceptable.

Always a superior standard of excellence. They love and care for your pet like you do.

Dr. Bruce has seen us at our worst dont have kids so my animals are our kids so I wouldnt trust them to just anybody and Paula and the staff have been there awhile and know us and their new groomer Angie is AWESOM answered questions about how to groom our border collie mix Polly couldnt ask for better job didnt recognize her when we picked her up she has prancing around every since A big thank you

I was not told that I could not accompany my dog to her visit today. I tried to walk in the building with her and I was looked at weird and then told no one was aloud inside. I understand business having their protocols but it should have been clearly stated at the time the appointment was made. I would not have brought my dog in. She can not communicate. That would be like sending your small child to the doctor alone. I never do drop off appointments because of that. I am very disappointed in this situation. With that being said, Dr. Essleman was wonderful. She called and did a detailed followup. She is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. After COVID-19, I would bring my dog to her

I started taking my cats a month ago and so far I've been twice due to one of my cats being ill. Make sure you mention the free first visit, which allows up to two animals for that coupon, it helps a lot although the prices are the cheapest I've seen from a lot of places. If the veterinarian schedules you an appointment on their own discretion, the visit is free. Vaccines and medication aren't too bad either. From the two visits, I only spent $120 total.
