Took kids to adopt a kitten on Sunday, Nov 7, 2021, we saw 5 kittens that are in the cage just have surgery, we are not able to interact with them, one of the lady at the center told us that they will be ready for to visit and adoption on Wednesday! We waited patiently for 3 days and eagerly came early on Wednesday to see those kittens that we might adopt. When the door open at 5:30 and went to see those kittens. We were very disappointed that all the kittens were gone, the lady that opened the door told us that those kittens were adopted on Monday and Tuesday!! Our kids cried on our way home. The lady we talked on Sunday was there as well and she said welcome back in a pretended way :(, we just ignore her!! I really want to question why she lied to us in front of kids!!! she is completely unprofessional and complete lack of feeling or consideration of others. We were disappointed how unprofessional that the 1st lady was. she is completely unprofessional and complete lack of feeling or consideration of others. We were so disappointed in here. We went to another adoption agency on Thursday and adopted a kitten and brought home on the same day. Kids were so happen when they saw their new friend!

They took a mom & 3 kittens who were in danger of being poisoned by a property owner. I was stressed out as I was not prepared to deal with it at the time (long hrs at work & my grandma was in hospice 70 miles away). I am forever grateful! I plan to donate cash in support of their very important (necessary) services! Thank you for helping others to help cats!! ♥️

We stopped in to make a donation and took a minute to visit the cats. They all seemed well cared for and comfortable. I wouldn't describe the place as cozy from a human standpoint but the cats were happy to hang out on the multiple large perches for them climb on. The adults had the run of the place and kittens were kept in large separate enclosures. The staff were all very friendly and caring. I'd feel very confident adopting from here if I were able to. Please make a donation or consider adopting from here.

I love that the cats are all free range, and not locked in cages. Every cat (and kitten) was happy, healthy, and eager to interact with people. The staff answered every question we had. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable about all of the cats in their care. If you are looking to adopt a cat, this is the place to go.

Save yourself a lot of hassle and just go to cat welfare. This is one of the most unprofessional businesses of any type I've ever been.

I adopted my cat here a little over a month ago. The adoption process was quick and Jeanie was very nice. It is not a very professional place, but that isn't a huge deal as its mostly volunteers. Upon adopting my cat, I scheduled him an appt with my vet. It was unfortunately out of their date range because COVID has pushed many "New Patient" appointments back. Upon getting home, I noticed my cat had many scabs behind his ears - Strike 1 - double ear infection. Since the vet wasn't able to get us in sooner, they offered to have him come in quickly to just address the ears, and we were okay after that. My cat was very adjusted in a short amount of time, but I assumed from the change, he was extremely tired and a little too anxious to eat. I was wrong. The morning of my cat's appointment, he was acting odd and ended up vomiting blood twice - Strike 2. I called his vet immediately, and they kept him all day. $600 later, my cat was diagnosed with a stomach ulcer and anemia from bleeding from this ulcer. Upon reaching out to the adoption center, I was told that I would not be offered any financial support because it was outside of their window - Strike 3. I am not asking for $600 at all. The LEAST they could have done was offer something for his medication or really anything. I do understand that they have a mission and other expenses that need allocated to the other cats, but when adopting a cat, I am under the assumption that I am adopting a cat that is mostly healthy. Apparently, that is an incorrect assumption.

Over the course of six years we have adopted four cats from CCC and every experience has been wonderful. Very generous and informative. If you’re a cat lover and thinking about adopting, this should be your first stop. Even if you’re not adopting, any and all donations to them would be helpful as well.

I adopted my handsome boy, Donny, from here back in 2017 and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. He was so well taken care of and the adoption specialists made the process easy and smooth. Donny loves to happily lounge on my books, sun himself in the window, and play with his brother. <3

Unfortunately my application to adopt a cat was denied. I had some questions regarding this decision, and was told to reach out to Cindi Clum-Oppenheimer. I emailed her and never received a response. The woman who helped me at the adoption center, Jeanie Eby, was nice enough. The other woman who was there (I think Marla Leblanc) was extremely rude and unprofessional. Overall, a bad experience. They need to learn how to treat people better.

So many cute loving cats! I know I'll be coming here soon to pick up a new friend! They staff was kind and helpful and answered all my questions. They allowed us as much visit time with cats as we wanted. They have a color system for their cats making it easy to identify boys and girls and who had health issues. They have cats of all ages and colors! The cozy cat was clean and comfortable with a lot of stimulation available for the cats. You could tell they were well loved and cared for. I really liked this place and will be recommending it to friends in the future.

What they do for the animals is great. However, they have to turn cats away because they are constantly at capacity. They have VERY strict adoption regulations, which can be necessary in some circumstances. However, there are rules against adopting to people with kids under 6 and to people who have recently moved? They are also very strict about their adopted cats not going outside. The volunteers here can be very rude and dismissive about this, although there are many indoor/outdoor cats that thrive, including those belonging to veterinarians, who have been thru vet school and understand complications/risks. I don’t understand how they could turn people away from adopting a cat due to personal reasons like a recent move or young children. I don’t recommend adopting through them unless doing serious background research as they don’t list some of their policies on their website and they can be dismissive when asking questions.

I adopted a cat on 6/25/2020 and the cat passed away yesterday of cat leukemia (even though they promised that she had tested negative.) I put more than $200 in her in the short 6wks and loved and cared for her until the very end. I wouldn't take her back to them after the diagnosis as she wouldn't be with me long and i didn't want her to be uprooted again nor did I want her to die alone. So I pureed food and fed her with a syringe. i didn't want her to die unloved in a cat mill. These cat people pretend to be doing the right things before allowing someone to adopt but I believe all the testing and quarantine they say they do is a sham and the medical screening is void! Please think twice before adopting at the Cozy Cat Cottage as you may not have your new furry friend for long! So to answer your question I adamantly ask you to run from this establishment! BTW the only reason I give this place one star is because I can't choose zero stars!

Cozy Cat Cottage is one of the best places I have ever been to. The staff was so kind and professional. I came in right before closing and they just closed the door behind me and let me play with the cats, and I ended up adopting one that same day! They had a great variety of cats, old and young. The kitten I adopted (Paddie) now has a new name (Lorelai) but she was super reserved when I first got her. After a few days in her new home, she is the kindest, most playful kitten out there. I could go on and on but Cozy Cat Cottage was the best place I have EVER been to. 10/10 would go again!

A great place to find a cat or kitten. They had somewhere for us to sit with the kittens one-on-one and were easy to work with. The kitten we got was fixed already and had all possible shots she could, as well as a chip.

Love the new Cozy Cat locations. During COVID donations are super easy to unload directly from your vehicle right around the back of their store front. Knowledgeable staff and love to see the new kitties at Pet Supply Plus.

First time I have had the privilege to interact with this rescue. My friend found 3 young kittens, the mother had been killed by a car. The kittens had their eyes matted shut and needed bottle fed. I used to handle bottle fed kittens about 10 yrs ago but do not have the equipment to do it now or the actual time to devote to bottle fed kittens. Cozy Cat Cottage did not hesitate to take them in. Very nice facility and friendly people working there.
