I never give reviews but I thought this needed to be shared. I've always heard adopt adopt but after dealing with this place I will probably never adopt this was a HORRIBLE experience I will never recommend this place

Sierra's Haven are angels! They are a no kill shelter and when my beloved German Shepherd Romeo got lost they were so kind and helpful! They are dedicated hard working people who love and protect the lost and unwanted! God Bless

This Bad place to adopt animals. Unless you have hundreds of dollars this shelter will not help with the pet they adopted to you that was unknowingly very very sick. We Adopted a cat for our son who has health issues to be a pet. but it end up dying they wouldn’t even help us even find somebody to foster him to get better.

Very upset tried to adopt a pet and wouldn't let us

I love the place because of the people that works there and I end up getting the top of my baby his name is summit and he's a very special cat to me and I recommend anybody out there that wants one go right there and drop one they are beautiful cats out there that needs a good home that's why I adopted my boy special he gets full

They pretty much told me it was my fault my previous dog died and that they didn't think I was a safe household for a dog... Our dog was very loved and spoiled! She got loose while we weren't home and coyotes got her. I hardly think that's our fault and I think it was cruel of them to say such a thing! None of our pets have ever been mistreated, and all of them have been spoiled! This place needs nicer employees

They were over capacity on kittens and didn't mention our pup had had parvo which though he was treated by them it is still something I would have mentioned. Having said that it was in the chart so it was there.

They Really care about the Animals here. Best place to Adopt your new best friend(s).

They were so kind, and professional about getting our wonderful boy. I could tell immediately that they cared about who came to adopt these wonderful babies, and all of the puppers were very clean and healthy! Thank you Sierra's, you are a gift to this world!

Excellent care for the animals. We have adopted two dogs from Sierra’s. We had a challenging situation with one and they went above and beyond to help. We are grateful and highly recommend them!

Well cared for cats (80) and dogs (35).

They do what they can with their budget. They are a great place to adopt your pets from. Willing to work with you of you have some kind of special need. Had to adopt a kitten so older cats in household would tolerate. So they allowed me to foster the kitten until such a time as the surgery so my cats would be okay with the prospective adoptee.

My girlfriend rescued a kitten on the highway, and they wouldn’t take her. Can’t support a rescue that won’t rescue.

An almost 2 hour drive but was so impressed 3 years ago we went back.

The women that is the boss c9mes across as irratable and hard to deal with.

I'm a huge supporter of animal shelters so it was important for me to adopt a cat. Other than the rude lady working the front desk, the experience was good.

This place is a joke. Everyone is rude and no one seems to know what's going on getting mixed messages from everyone. One person tells me one thing then another one tells me something totally different WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

My nephew worked here and they not only treat their employees terribly, but also their customers. The adoption fees are reasonable when considering spay/neutering plus microchipping is included, but why charge that giant $200+ fee for animals already fixed and microchipped from being in previous homes. Be sure to take a good look at your animal when you go to take it home as well, they like to send home the wrong animal more often than not. They care more about money than the animals safety, asked for donations to buy a paralyzed dog a wheel chair that they apparently have still not bought. Poor dog scoots around with sores and burns all over its body, pitiful. Adopt elsewhere.

Very good people! They always are willing to help animals! They do low income spay and neuter clinics! I was a puppy building volunteer for a few hours with my kids and it was so nice and clean!

I went here today to look at the animals and the animals in the kitten cages were all in one cage, there was a sick cat in a cage and no one was taking care of it, the lady at the desk was very rude, and when we went into the puppy pavilion, there was dog pee everywhere on the floor and it smelled horrible. And there was no one in the building that we saw, and the animals overall are just horribly kept. I am giving this a 1-star rating because also the lady at the desk was very rude, not just to the customers, but also to her help.

I highly recommend supporting this shelter. During my visit, I saw the staff and volunteers providing excellent care to the animals. Despite having numerous cats and dogs, all appeared well cared for with clean areas, and fresh food and water. The staff went out of their way to help us select the best pet for our family. They deserve a hugh THANK YOU for helping homeless animals and for allowing us to make Emma (fka Lukulele) part of our family.

They made us pay. Wait a wk. Then had the nerve to wait another wk. Things changed when I said cough up my money then. Haha
