The Dog Stop - South Hills Pittsburgh, Ohio

I LOVE the Dog Stop on West Liberty. My old girl (now crossed over the Rainbow Bridge) loved play time there and we loved having an exhausted dog at the end of the day! Their grooming is always top-notch! Now, I have an older dog, and I'm a worrier, but I feel like she's in good hands when she goes to The Dog Stop!

Polite, extreme care for your pets. This is the place to go!

I was very happy with the grooming service my dogs received at the Dog Stop. I was in need of a new groomer, and I was able to get an appointment quickly. Megan did a great job on both of my girls. All of the employees I encountered during my visit were extremely nice, pleasant and had great customer service skills. I will be using them in the future and have already recommended them to relatives.

We see Megan at the Dog Stop for grooming for our rough collie. He's got quite a lot of fur, as you can imagine. She has been taking care of him for a little over a year and we are very happy with her grooming skills. I also know that she's always doing more training to get better at her profession. I definitely recommend her if you're looking for a groomer in the area! We also boarded our dog at the Dog Stop for a couple of nights (unusual for us) and they took good care of him. He was so comfortable he even ate on his first day there. And they were totally understanding when I called to check in on how he was doing.

The girl was awesome she did a great job . But my dog was being a jerk ... So I had a good experience anyway Good place ..

The entire staff is awesome and it’s so comforting to have such a great groomer like Megan taking care of my goldendoodle Rudy!

We have a rescue dog that was abused. The Dog Stop has worked with him on grooming him and they have done a good job.

Megan is our groomer. She is so wonderful with Max. She takes great care in her work, and communicates well with us, too.

Depends which location some are better than others and do not go to any without outdoor spaces for your canine kids. They are not maintrained and are suspect.

I wish I could give more stars! I've been taking my dog Max to The Dog Stop for 5 months now. He's a puppy so I was nervous to have him start daycare when I went back to the office some days of the week - but he loves it! The staff is really incredible and are always very kind and professional. I trust that he is in safe hands during daycare. He's been boarded there a few times while we have been out of town and that was also a great experience. They have pup cams which are great as well. We truly appreciate all they do! Highly recommend.

Great staff huge selection and if they don't have they will get it for you My dog Ruby get excited when I pull in because she knows she going shopping ????

They do their homework on dog food so you don't have to. Also, great nail trimmer, Megan.

We brought our Golden Retriever here for what we thought was a normal grooming and nail trim but instead we arrived to see they completely shaved her down. The staff was very friendly but I am very disappointed as it will take months for her to regrow her coat. I hope no damage is done to her skin / coat.

The staff took real good care of our pup when we had to go out of town unexpected. Have used them in the past and will use them again.

Every employee i have met has been very caring and friendly. Our dogs timid and nervous and they are taking great care of each and every visit. I never worry while they are there for overnights, day care or to be groomed. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Our puppy started going to the W Liberty location recently. She knows when she is going by the change in our morning routine and loves it. She has so much fun with the other dogs and always comes home tired out from playing. The location is super convenient right by the Liberty Tunnels.

Willow loved her grooming experience, and so did mom and dad! She looked fantastic and was so, so soft and fluffy! Will be back again for sure!!!

I rescued my Willow from the Human Society December 2021. She is very full of energy. I did not know how to cope. I found the Dog Stop and have been very pleased since. She is happy with getting interaction with other dogs in a save environment and I am getting a break I need so that when she comes home from Doggie Daycare I am happy to see her.

Everyone is always so friendly when we come in to get treats. We still haven’t gone to daycare yet so that’s why I’m only giving 4 stars. I’ll be sure to update once we try it out! :)

I have been taking my pug for seven years! I always feel confident knowing my piggy is in good hands. The staff is knowledgeable and care so much about the dogs. Their grooming department is incredible! I wish I could give this place 10+stars!

I used to take my dog to the dog stop in lawrenceville. I did not love it there. But here it’s so nice. My dog never comes home smelling like he rolled in pee. He is always happy to go there and I can watch him on the cameras which is nice. He always has a good time and hasn’t complained yet!

Great experience! Professional staff and very reliable. The app allows you to see your dog while you are away which is a bonus. Highly recommend!
