Very impressed with this knowledgeable veterinarian... Didn't even have to bring my elderly dog in the last time. They were able to diagnose his problem just for my stool sample... They then put him on the proper treatment and two weeks later he was great...

If you’re seeking a new veterinary office, look no further. The doctors and staff of Animals R Special are outstanding. Being a first-time puppy owner, I’ve made my fair share of calls and visits to the office. They’re always responsive and compassionate no matter how minute the need proved to be. Today I had a bit of a scare when my 1 y.o. Pomeranian had an adverse reaction to his vaccines. They took immediate action to stabilize him and did so without billing me back for the extra measures taken to ensure that he was well. (Thank you Dr. Wagner and team!) I came to Animals R Special via a referral and wish to offer this review as my referral to anyone looking for a vet office. Animal care doesn’t get better than these ladies!

Great experience with my unruly 90lb. Dog. I'm glad they haven't changed. Its been 20 years since my last visit with previous pets and they are still awesome and reasonable.

I have been going here for nearly a decade and I have had nothing but positive experiences. Dr Wagner's bedside manner is absolutely incredible. We love it there so much that even after moving 30minutes away we still drive all the way back because we can't imagine going anywhere else. I cannot possibly recommend them highly enough.

This review is long overdue. I have been taking my pup to Dr. Wagner for almost two years, and the level of care he has received is exceptional. Let me just start by stating that I am not the easiest dog mom to work with. I worry so much about my pup’s health and have the tendency to become very frantic if there is something wrong. Dr. Wagner and her team have always been so compassionate, understanding, and patient with me. They listen to and validate my concerns, educate me when I am not understanding a recommended form of treatment, and are always transparent about diagnostic results and cost. I also really value their reliability and accessibility. Whether it is a GI flare up, a medication refill, or even a broken nail, they ALWAYS make themselves available and that has always been a challenge with local vets. They genuinely care about my dog and his health and happiness and it shows. As long as we are in Columbus, we will continue to bring our pets here.

The vet tech was very good and Dr. Bowers was fantastic.

Amy and her staff are very professional and thorough. They were very gentle with our dog and answered any and all questions. The invirnment was very welcoming. We were able to schedule our appointment in a timely manner. I would recommend Animals R Special and give them a five star rating.

I worked with Dr Bowers at the The Vet Clinic East and when I could not get in there, because they were closed, I personally got ahold of Sarah. I called Animals R Special, told them my situation and that I had worked with Dr Bowers and they got me right in the same day. I have an American Bully named Faygo, that can be VERY difficult and I explained the situation to them, they were very understanding. He had diarrhea for 3 days and they took the sample I collected and gave me meds for him. They were awesome, Dr Wagner was very accomodating and I now have 2 clinics that I love and can call if I have a problem with my furbabies. Thank you Dr Wagner, Dr Bowers and staff Animals R Special is awesome.

Animals R Special is the most incredible veterinary office. I have been taking my first dog to them since he was a puppy, now almost two years old. They are constantly going above and beyond to make sure we are proactive with his health, while also being very conscientious of the cost of things and explaining options. I always know they have my dog’s best interest & will take the best of care for him. Dr. Wagner is very personable and her staff is welcoming. I look forward to bringing my dog to them even for the genuine interaction I receive when coming. As long as I have an animal, I will be coming here! Thanks for everything & taking such good care of my high maintenance Husky!

I cannot say enough about this place! We have had a hard time finding a “competent and friendly” vet. The experience we have had is more than words can say. They are kind, loving and we can see how much they love the animals. Banjo, our corgi, absolutely loves it. We have issues with him wanting to come home ???? the care he has received is exceptional. We had such a hard time with the previous vet in regards to our concerns with the pup. The vet listened to us and our concerns. Started him on medication with advice to keep his change in food and we should see changes. We have seen such an improvement. We are so lucky to have found such a loving and caring vet clinic. Thank you guys so much:)
