Himler Veterinary Services Marysville, Ohio

I find Dr Himler to be very professional, kind and caring to our 4 dogs and 2 cats. We rescued our 2 cats from her. There has not been a time when we haven't felt welcome to her clinic. The staff is and always has been friendly to us and our pets. Our dogs and cats have had many procedures and have always come back to us groggy but clean and had band-aids on areas where the IV were. We also get a full page of instructions and who to call after we have taken our pet home. We have never had to make a call after our pet is home because the work and surgeons have done what they do best and that is to take care of our pet as if they were their pet. I like the fact that Dr Himler is the only Dr there reason being the last vet we went to had a revolving door for Dr's. We never had the same Dr at any point. Seeing one Dr relieves my anxious moments because I know Dr Himler knows us and the history of our pets. Again they take care of our pets as if they were their own. I am so pleased that I have left them 1/3 of my estate in my will because I have faith in who they are and what they do. Summing up if you want the best quality care for your pet and somebody that has empathy for you and your pet you could not do better than Dr Himler.

I have not had a bad experience there in the 4 or 5 years I have been going there. The staff is always friendly and responsive. My puppy was spayed there and there were complications, but they were in contact with me through the day and let me know how she was doing. They explained her discharge instructions well and were happy to help with my questions.

I don’t usually write a review on anyone but I’m heartbroken over the misdiagnosis of my Weimaraner. I have been using Dr Himler for over 2 years. On 9/10 I rushed my dog in because I thought he was exposed to insect sprayed on my condo lawn. He was foaming and drooling at the mouth, I thought he was dying. She ran blood and X-ray test and he had also been licking his paws raw, she said that was a yeast infection, I’m not sure if she tested for it, she diagnosed him with idiopathic trigeminal neuritis, his mouth and tongue were frozen, the bill was 450 and I was sent to med vets, that was on 9/11, that was a highly expensive nightmare and they charged 1700 and poor post care he had no ability to take in water and food. I opened his mouth and put small bits of canned food deep in the mouth by spoon I had a turkey baster for water, he becomes worse as his feet now were raw and bleeding. I researched and excessive pain not yeast was the cause and he has MMM not what was told to me, I rushed him to a different vet and he took one look and diagnosed him correctly he gave him injections of cordesone and prednisone sadly his muscles in his head have atrophied, he is deformed with all his facial bones sticking out. If they would have diagnosed this they could have started the steroids! Now I’m 2000 $ poorer and my beautiful dog is left disfigured!

Great friendly staff and the doc was attentive, knowledgeable and communicated things perfectly. Oh, and there were tons of cats around the office, which helped ????

They all were great and kind to our Bella. Found out the problem and had to do surgery right away. With out this we could have lost our dog. Thank you all

We didn't have an appointment but they squeezed us in and helped our dog,very nice and considerate of your feelings, would definitely recommend this place

Just got home and realized that I was late (thought my appointment was 8:30, arrived around 8:15 and now I see it was 8am! Mortified.) but, they never made me feel bad about it. They never even mentioned it maybe due to construction on their road. The doctor and staff are kind and professional. There are free-roaming cats in the lobby as an FYI. It was all very clean and although I’m allergic to cats, I had no reaction.

We love Dr. Himler and staff! They always take great care of our animals and are very responsive to any needs we have. The office is always neat and the front staff is very friendly and helpful. Budget friendly for great vet care!

WOW what good service this place has!!! These girls work HARD!! Morgan told me she works 12 hours with no breaks! Thank you for your hard work Morgan!

We’ve been using Dr. Himler for about a year and a half now and can’t recommend her enough!! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they do so well with our dog! They are always able to get us in quickly if our boy is having health issues. We also feel that what they charge for their services is reasonable! It’s wonderful to have a vet where we get great care for a great price!!

Can't think of anything negative to say about Himler veterinary. They have always provided service and have helpful and knowledgeable assistants. At a good value, too????. They are my go-to pet care provider.

Friendly, caring staff. They diagnosed the issue and made sure to answer all my questions about follow up care for my injured furbaby. They found a way to get him seen quickly and I was surprised at the price. It was much less than what I have paid at other vets for office visits with xrays and medications. So happy to have found this practice.

The experience was amazing! I didn’t even have an appointment scheduled. I was worried about my 8 week puppy that was accidentally dropped while in a hurry to get ready for work. I was able to get in right away which helped ease my worries about my little guy. The only thing that could have made it better was being able to go inside with my puppy but I know with the current circumstances going on in the world that wasn’t possible. I really appreciate everyone that works in the Himler vets office. I’m so happy that both of my pups have an amazing vet service to go to when needed.

As always treated well by all the helpful girls in the office. They were complete in examining my yellow lab and in explaining what he needed.

I've always had a great experience with Dr. Himler and her staff. I have five cats and am in the office a few times a year for wellness exams. I've also brought cats in for neuter and dental surgeries and all the appointments have gone smoothly. A couple of my cats have had to see specialists at Ohio State, but I have been able to get refills on their medications locally. I've been using the PetDesk app and it's been an easy and convenient way to schedule appointments and get prescription refills. I have also received cards from the doctor and staff when I have had a kitty pass away. I really appreciate this kind gesture. The new curbside service has been great and I appreciate the safety measures they have put in place. Thanks for the great service!

Great vet office! The new procedures for COVID-19 take a little getting used to, but they have been very helpful through all of it!

Dr. Himler and her staff are and were absolutely amazing in their care of Zoë. Even though they were implementing new safety procedures they stayed professional and caring at all times. And even though I could not physically be by Zoë’s side they kept me up to date with everything that was going on with her.
