They were very helpful when I called in about my 3 and a half week old puppy I was bottle feeding and was worried because he wasn't having any bowl movements in days they did everything over the phone they could to help me and thank God by that night the puppy was going just fine thank you for advice over the phone and being so willing to help

Had a very sick cat and instead of telling me the truth, that he was dying, they prescribed 3 prescriptions and told me to wrap him in a blanket because his temp was so low they couldn't read it.

Not a regular patient there, but our usual vet dismissed our poor Remi's emergency. Madison Veterinary Clinic were able to get our boy in same day and cared for him for 3 days to determine what was wrong. They were very kind, quick and thorough. Will definitely be seeing them regularly.

Absolutely wonderful, caring and thorough group of people in this office. From the Dr’s to the receptionists. Unfortunately, we’ve had to two say goodbye to two of our 4-legged family members… so patient, kind and helpful thru the whole process. The billing is absolutely reasonable also. Would definitely recommend them!!

They took very good care of my fur baby, answered any questions I had. She unfortunately did not pull through as expected and when she passed they were very kind and caring when it came to having her cremated.

We had a vet tell us our dog had arthritis in her leg. We weren't convinced. We sent Dr. Tom a picture and he suggested we get another opinion. We traveled 200 miles to have him look at her. We were impressed from the moment we walked into the clinic! Everyone was kind and attentive to our needs. It turned out our dog needed surgery. He had her in and out of surgery in record time. She healed really well and hasn't had any trouble. The most impressive thing was the fact our dog was 13 years old. They checked up on her the next day as well as a few weeks after. I only wished we lived closer because they would definitely be our vet!

My cat developed a UTI in a matter of hours. I called almost all the Vets between Madison & Saybrook. But not one would take my cat. One Vet even said it would be 6 weeks before they would see him. He would have been dead way before then. I got ahold of the folks here at Madison Vet Hospital. Explained everything. They got us right in. Dr Deak and her staff were awesome. My kitty was a sleep before we were done with the paper work. The great Dr herself called to let me know how my cat was doing. They saved my cats life. I won't go anywhere else. Thank you very much to the receptionist ladies.. And Thank You to Dr Deak and her staff for getting my cat taken care of so quickly. On top of all this, my power steering pump broke getting there..

Went there after being late because of closed RR tracks. Would not honor my appointment! Second time they had to reschedule and six weeks out. They don’t care about your pet; just care about their schedules; ended up taking her to another vet that was able to get her in. In my opinion, they act like they’re the only vet in the area, not pet friendly or accommodating. Find another vet!

My dog was on medication for skin irritation which they gave me for 2 weeks. the meds were working but he ran out.the next day he was miserable I called sat at 950am to see if I can get more meds for him the desk lady told me she would call me back after she talks to dr.well that never happen I called her back at 11:30 and she never asked yet.she told me I would have to wait until monday.they don't care if you pet is suffering. so Monday the Dr. replied back about getting bit so why at 11:30 I called back I was told Dr was with a another patient. also Dr tom told me in my gmail so nobody can see public not to return due to the negative post I wrote I wrote back on Gmail I decided sat.I would not return to uncaring vet.maybe they should care about the pets more then there reviews

Dr Tom is awesome. Not to happy with other no so good on introduction I guess. At least that was for me anyway. I just played the guessing game figured out afterwards that she was the vet.

I dont like how the dr. posted a message to another pet owner who was trying to get medicine for her dog. i think he was very rude and unprofessional the way he decided to handle the situation.

My pups have seen the doctors at this establishment for over 5 years. I have received nothing but courteous, compassionate care from every person I have contact with. They are a very busy practice, but if you have an urgent need they do their best to get you in asap. I especially appreciate the time Dr. Zulandt takes to write letters (emails) to all clients informing them of any changes in Covid precautions at MVH. It's obvious that he doesn't make those decisions lightly, but puts much forethought into the process. Entry doors are clearly marked with the current protocol regarding masks, surgeries, rx pick up, etc. I appreciate that!

This vet is horrible. The customer service ladies at the front are belligerent and always seem to have an attitude. Would not take my pet there ever again. It's pricey as well and they try to upsell you on shots that your pet doesn't need. They rush you in and out without really looking at your pet it feels like. Would rate 0/10 but Google won't let me. DONT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. There are much better vets that take the time to talk to you about your pet in the area rather than milk you for money and throw you out of the door.

Called in a little while ago and stated that I had a litter of puppies. Said there schedule was 2-3 wks out. Called today to make a appointment 3 wks out for them to get there 8 wk shots. Was told couldn’t have a appointment for 5 wks. My puppies need there 8 wk shots when they are 8wks not 10 wks. Been going here 20yrs now have to look for new vet. Thanks for the loyalty.

Staff is rude. The Doctor belittling another reviewer on here because his dog needed his medications and couldn't get them in time was just the epitome of professionalism this place has to offer. Any other vet in the area is a better fit for your pets. Truly unprofessional.

I called the vet on July 28th for my 3and a half month old puppy he has a ear infection, the lady at the desk said we can get him in at the end of aug. I said don’t you think it’s a bad idea for him to wait that long?then she said ok I will squeeze you in on aug 4th at 9 am went there this morning and the lady at the office said oh your appointment isn’t until next Wednesday I said no it isn’t she recheck and said oh it’s today but doc is in surgery so can I reschedule you I said my puppy is in pain she recheck again and said can you come back at 10:30 I said I’ve had enough of this place I’m done

This place is meh. The vets are all really nice, but it seems like they just want rush my dog in and out when I would like to have more time to ask questions and really make sure he is okay. Also, the staff isn't very friendly. I got yelled at for not wearing a mask the second I walked in the door. (This was only a couple days ago.) It wasn't the required mask I was upset about, but the fact that the receptionist assumed my intentions. I haven't worn a mask in since they lifted the mandate and I didn't have a mask on me at that point. I was trying to respectfully ask if they had a disposable mask I could wear, but instead, I got rudely yelled at. Don't you think it would be a lot nicer if the receptionist had said, "Ma'am I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but we still require masks. We have one you can wear if you forgot yours"?

The staff are really happy, helpful and knowledgeable. They offered a variety of possibilities when faced with challenges with my dog's allergies. They didn't go right to the most expensive option. We worked together to find a solution. I trust them and love their enthusiasm for helping animals.

I’ve never put a dog down before. My first time experience. The lady asks us what we want. We tell her and she comes back in and says that will be $252. We were both crying due to the fact we’ve had this dog since we were teenagers. You guys could have not been disgusting human beings and let’s us pay when we pickup our dogs remains. You have to love it... yeah we will put your dog down but you better pay up. Be considerate.
