Just a dog aunty, but an excellent way to have dog play with the beans out of dogs that need a job.

I've been coming here many years with all of my dogs. Are newest dog can hardly wait to go. He seems to know when it is thrusday. That is the day we always take him.

My pups are exhausted after a stay at Barks and Recreation. They get to play all day instead of staying in a kennel. They love it there!

My dog Cosmo has been coming here for years! He loves it and gets groomed as well. Amy and her staff are awesome with the dogs and treat them as their own. When we arrive he barks all the way to the door!

Take our dog every week. He loves it and they treat him great.

I had to board my dog this past summer unexpectedly two different weekends. Barks had availability even though it was peak travel season, and went above and beyond to care for my pup while I was away! The “report card” is a fun, nice touch, and I loved the live stream they offer so that you can check in on your dog.

We are customers for over 5 years and our dog always did great there. Even with advanced age, this is a place he would be able to balance taking a rest and socializing with his friends. They also helped a lot managing a more specific diet and care. I do recommend this family-owned business.

Secondary home for your lovely dogs. Our dogs Must follow screening before enter this place. Good services from all the staffs. Wide space indoor and outdoor activities. And we can monitoring our dogs activities through CCTV by download the apps on our phone. Safe and healthy dogs hotel.

Very friendly and helpful. When I broke my wrist they really helped me out.

My 11 year old had a great weekend here! She even was caught running at full speed, which she saves for her happiest moments! They let me bring her Big Barker dog bed, elevated feeder, and they have a refrigerator for her eggs, which are part of her breakfast/meds. Their app let me see how she was doing during the day. I could see her napping, running, and enjoying butt scratches from the staff!

Great place my dog loves it friendly staff

I expected to bring home a tired puppy but not a sick one. For the most part the staff was friendly - though at intake, the employee misread my paperwork and didn't realize my puppy had all of the necessary shots. It caused me to have to make additional, unnecessary trips and phone calls just to get him checked in for boarding. After that, the staff was friendly. However, at pick up I could tell that my puppy was not himself. He slept endlessly, and then the vomiting and diarrhea started. The lethargy and diarrhea lasted for four days and ended with a costly trip to the vet and a prescription for antibiotics. My eight month old puppy had never been boarded before and was in perfect health at drop off. I will not be utilizing their services in the future.

Took my miniature schnauzer to be groomed and spend the night. Stef did an amazing job grooming him. I loved that I could watch him play while we were gone. We definitely will be going back!

Good service for your animals

Our fur baby LOVES it at Barks and Rec! He went from being a very shy adoptive shelter puppy to the life of the party thanks to their wonderful services. He now literally runs to the door to get in to play! The owner and caretakers all seem to really care and give attention to the dogs with a lot of love. Really appreciate that there are cameras to check up on your pup, as that helped us as first time puppy parents and the fact that our boy was very shy to begin with. The package passes are also very economical. Would highly recommend!

The groomer, Stef, does a fantastic job on our Miniature Schnauzer, Emme. The best part - she works her in while she’s at daycare and I get to pick up a clean, cut pup!

So my experience: my dog gets groomed, which the groomer has always been cold towards me, but whatever right? I come get her when she’s done and she’s: alone, in a cage, in a small dark room. Animal lovers do not do that. It’s wrong. Then she gets sick, kennel cough. $300 vet visit later, the vet tells me to inform the facilities so they can clean and notify other owners. I call and was told they shut the lights off to save on electricity, and “sorry she got sick.” There’s no cleaning that will be done, there’s no accountability or actions done to take care of me and my poor dog. Save your animals, it’s not worth going there to get mistreated and sick.

Been taking our dogs here for almost ten years. We know we can always trust them to make our dogs happy when we have to go out of town without them. One of the very few boarding places where daycare is included.

My dog loves going here and they have reasonable prices. The staff is extremely friendly and professional!

Our puppy absolutely loves it there. They have a large dog area and small dog area. She loves being with the big dogs. They are so welcoming. They know your dogs name when they arrive. It has been great socialization during these cold days. Very reasonably priced we love ???? it!!

I work right down the street and I was quoted $28-$35 for a 60lb Shepard puppy. he was there three hours until I got off of work and was only charge $25. Very friendly staff will definitely be going back.
