Today we had to put our 22 year old beagle Andy down. While it was very difficult and heart wrenching, Dr. Rich and Morgan showed our beloved Andy kindness, gentleness, and they showed our family so much compassion! They said our dog would need a tooth cleaning in “about a year” or she might lose a tooth, so we scheduled it three months later, just to be safe. They said they “might” pull one tooth, but they took EIGHT. They tried to justify it by saying they “didn’t realize” the teeth were so bad when they did their exams… so in other words, they don't do good exams. Even with such an extreme dental problem progressing over multiple years, they never even noticed it during three separate exams over multiple years. We could have caught it way earlier and maybe saved all of those teeth, but they continually said the teeth were fine. Now our dog has lost 20% of her teeth. If they do such a basic thing wrong, who knows what else they do wrong? For all you know, your pet could have a major health problem, but they won’t even notice it or do anything about it.

Highly recommend choosing a different veterinarian for your pet. We have taken our pets here for years and have seen the level of care go down substantially over the last couple years. Terrible customer service and communication.

My Havanese had an appointment on Friday at 9:20, I called them at 9:30 to let them know I would be a few min late, it was 9:41 & they wouldn't take her since she was past the 20 minute cutoff...She would have been a new client, how much business would they get from me & my referrals if they would have just taken her in....Bad business decision on Heather the office manager. She was rude, not understanding, I told her that if someone would have told me there was a 20 min rule I would have called & rescheduled. I would take your business to County Animal Hospital in Mason

Will never go anywhere else! Their passion for animals shows in their loving care. They are always kind and willing to help. Prices are reasonable and even through covid, we were always able to get an appointment within a reasonable time frame, when needed.

We just moved here and have been twice already. They're exactly like our vet in Missouri! We love Four Paws!!
