Dr. Dalhausen and his staff are helpful, kind, and remarkably smart. I’ve brought in birds, rats, and a hamster. All were treated with genuine care. They always take the time to make sure I understand and answer any questions I have. This is hands down the best exotic vet clinic.

The entire experience was great. I was a little unhappy about the COVID workflow. Not being able to talk with the vet during the visit stinks. But, the vet does call and talk with you, so they make the most of a bad situation.

I have an older pet rabbit, he somehow managed to herniate his bladder through his abdominal wall. Another vet recommended Dr. Dalhausen's practice for exotics needing surgery. His doctor, Dr. Cummings, was AMAZING! His incision site is fully healed, he didn't even have a scar after it healed, and despite being older, with the right attention from Dr. Cummings and the rest of the staff, he did very well under anesthesia. I truly could not be more impressed or happier with the outcome. 10/10 recommend for any exotics! This was a rare case and Dr. Cummings handled it beautifully!

I will never take my animals to any other vet as long as Dr. Dahlhausen is practicing.

They are very good and nice to me and roscoe my pet bird. They done more for roscoe then the other vet .I would say that if you have a bird that is sick or anything else that you would need to take them to a vet you should Take them to Dahlhausen R DVM . They will go that extra mile i can't thank them enough

I drove well over 9 hours to have Dr. Dahlhausen look at my bird, and I would do it again without hesitation. The Dr. was very kind and super knowledgeable. I left the office with not only a plan for moving forward, but also the peace of mind that my bird is now under the care of the best avian vet we have met. I was supplied with everything I need to keep my bird healthy and the reassurance that he is only a phone call/text away to help whenever needed.

Best spot too bring my tortoises when they're feeling under the weather. Staff is always extremely nice and thorough. Highly recommend coming here if you have a sick pet.

I absolutely love this vet, he used to see a few of my reptiles when I was younger. I'm so happy that I have relocated him. He really cares for his patients, and the owners.

Absolutely the only vet I will take my animals to. Known all over for being one of the top doctors for exotic animals.

He is the most devoted vet I have ever known. This is our 2nd Quaker and thanks to Dr Bob ,we enjoyed our first one for 22 yrs. This one will be 5 yrs. He has kept them healthy and safe. We pray that we never know a life for our bird without him.

They were amazing they got us in last minute. They did everything they could to help us. The are also very reasonably priced.

Dr. Dahlhausen is THE BEST. I have met people sitting in the waiting room that have driven HOURS to see him. He is so knowledgeable...Not to mention kind and patient. Very few, if any, vets left like this one. The whole staff is kind and professional. His assistant really knows her stuff and is constantly tuned in to your animal while Dr. Dahlhausen talks to you. I really can’t say enough about how much I respect this group of animal care professionals, so I’ll leave it here!

Both Dr. Dahlhausen and Dr. Cummings are wonderful. They always answer any questions I have and my birds are treated so well here.
