My dog bingo was really sick over Christmas, I called Monday when they opened, and they were able to get us in within the hour. All the staff did a great job, Bingo is doing much better tonight. Thanks so much.

Final straw with this company!!! My mother in law took her cat in to have a rabies shot and nail trimmed. A hour and a half later!!!! They say they cant get him out of his carrier. Seriously!!! This place has lost all its compassion and vision for the care of the animals no doubt!! I would advice anyone who cares about the animals enough to stay clear of this business.

I'm new to the Jackson area and was told to bring my dog to this place for quality vet care. Sadly, this is not the case. You can't get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time and they refuse to refill meds with out seeing the dog, so you have to pay for a visit to refill meds. Person who answers the phone is also not professional at all. Very rude. Don't go here.

Today our puppy had a run in with rat poison, given the severity of this emergency I assumed VCA would be a good first call -wrong. The representative hung up on me 3 times, and when I finally got through they refused to help or put me on hold to speak with a vet. As a pet parent, scared and asking for the best treatment possible, I was shocked that they turned me away and were so unprofessional. If you do go to VCA the Grand Rapids one is excellent! But Jackson area folks beware this location lacks basic compassion and professionalism on top of blatant disregard for the well being of a critically ill pet.

This place has the worst lowlife at the front desk who has no personable qualities whatsoever. I have now chosen a new vet, I will never give this place my business again.

Love VCA animal hospitals. They are great with animals and very caring. I would recommend VCA to everyone. Just wish they were closer to where I live now.

Just got soaked for an emergency appt when i begged for it the day before.

VCA was the only vet in Jackson that would take us in as an emergency. I couldn't have asked for a more caring group of staff taking care of our sweet boy Valentine, especially Dr. Kluz. We will definitely be coming back with our other animals.

I am no longer recommending this Vet to anybody. I don't know how they can call themselves a hospital when they are NEVER available. I've had four to five different people on different occasions that I've recommended VCA to tell me they've called and they just get blown off. When I know for a FACT they take people all the time. They keep their employees their for hours afterwards taking last minute patients. Yet we can NEVER get in. Change the name to just a clinic! Imagine a Human hospital turning people away! It's wrong! Get more doctors then!

Got us in quick and was able to work within budget but didn't have anything organized and kept asking the same question over and over.

Friendly, patient, and informative staff. Very pleasant environment experienced service and awesome care.

They were great at taking care of my dog. Very kind.

To expensive and some staff are rude. I mean really almost $3,000 to clean a dogs teeth

During Covid there is not many vets i would trust with my animals but this is one. I take my cat and my dog here.

Always had great experiences with this vet. Had emergencies and basic check ups, they handle it well. I would say pricing is mid point. Not expensive or cheap. Will continue to take my beloved pets to Gaide.

Avoid this place. All about the money. Prescribed the wrong medicine and refused to help my pet when I called back

Great place. Took my Dog in for an emergency with an infection and they took great care of him immediately.

Our first time coming here, we were blessed to get in same day for an emergency appointment. I found the staff to be trustworthy, professional & caring. Impressive cat handling skills, I might add.???? Your pets are in good hands here. The clinic is busy, so be patient!!

Was overcharged by a whopping $235.92, according to billing history statement, for a total of $671.84. The secretary informed me that they had called about the missed payments from cancelled credit cards, yet our call history shows no missed calls from either office number. VCA Care Club was not used once. Edit: Returned for a refund on the amount overcharged, turns out I was overcharged by $335.92, but they were cordial and willing to refund the amount on the spot.Thank you for the cooperation!

Very Friendly staff, got my animals in right away, almost no wait.

Love Dr. Grant...she is so understanding about how much people love their pets like family and the financial issues at this time (Covid-19 pandemic). I feel she is very honest and does everything she can to make caring for your loved one with compassion. I have had to put down a hamster (that was 3 1/2 years old which is very old for a hamster) and a very much missed 16 year old puppy. She is now helping me care for my 11 year old puppy with allergies and dry eye...which she may have to have her eye removed if it worsens. VCA Gaide Animal Hospital staff is very nice; however, I would not be going back if it wasn't for Dr. Grant's bedside manner. The prices are a bit above average, but it is worth paying for the trust in Dr. Grant.
