Country Garden Veterinary Clinic Jackson, Ohio

We took our hamster Daisy to see Dr. D and everyone was amazing! April was great too. And after helping Daisy empty her impacted food pocket, she seems to be doing better!

I have been a very satisfied customer of Country Garden Veterinary Clinic for over a decade. I think the new rule they have in place now is offensive to their good customers. This rule requires you to pay for your appointment before they will schedule it. I understand how rude and expensive it is for the clinic if a customer does not show up for their appointment. The normal procedure would be for this rude customer to be charged for the missed appointment. They would have to pay the fee before they re-scheduled their pet. It would not be a great loss if this customer did not return. That being said I will continue to use Country Garden Veterinary Clinic services because they are the best veterinary clinic in the area! Their staff is kind and compassionate!

The staff here are all very friendly and take time to answer all of our questions.

Om my! What to say! I had to make the difficult decision of putting down my chinchilla of 13 years (never easy) I was alone but I wasn't. The staff was very helpful and even gave me a little vial of fur for keepsake. Over this past weekend, what did I receive but my little buddy's footprints on a heartfelt card signed by all the staff❤ thank you for truly being amazing, through a difficult time.????

Such a wonderful place! The staff was kind and attentive to our dogs (Jaws & Meg) medical needs. Not to mention they only had one available appointment and still saw both of our dogs same day, even being new patients! The thorough explanation of how to continue helping our dogs at home was precise. I couldn't ask for a better veterinarian office and staff!! Fyi... Jaws is jet black and on the left and Meg is on the right????

Before relocating back to Michigan, our former vet described our family member as a geriatric dog in a time of hospice care. When time came for him to pass peacefully on, most all local vets would not see us, as we were not current patients, was considered as new patients, and appointments were weeks to months out. We found this compassionate office that fully understood our concerns and would work with us. When the day came, the staff was very supportive, informative as to what to expect, compassionate of our pending loss, and patient with us for whatever time we needed throughout the peaceful transition. A big THANK YOU is not adequate for helping us.

I first started bringing my pets here when our vet of a few years refused to see us on an emergency basis for a cat we hadn't taken in to him yet. I called Country Garden and they were so caring and got her in immediately. I knew right away that we'd found a new vet. I have many pets that I've taken here in the past few years and they've treated them all like family. When I rescued a sick feral shortly into COVID, they went above and beyond to help us get him back on his feet and healthy. They always call to check up on your pet after a sick visit and the doctors and staff are all caring and friendly. After losing one of my companions this year, they gave me a vial with a bit of her fur and mailed us a condolence letter with her paw print. I cannot say enough good things about this business!

Had my dog fixed then in 2 days later her belly was warm, nose dry took her in they acted like nothing was wrong wouldn't give me antibiotics then 2 days later she couldn't walk to her back in they kept her abd a day later she passed. Then they called me when I was going to pay my bill, total for them to mistreat my dog $900.00

I no longer trust this place. If you have a pet here please get a second opinion even if its just something minor. I will not reccomend as I think they are in it more for the money then actually taking care of animals.

I took my VERY old cat there to end his misery (he had a myriad of health issues, one of them was very painful) and they redefined the word compassionate. They let me hold him, they talked me through it and were SO kind. Afterward, they sent me a condolence card with his footprint on it and well wishes from the whole staff. I HIGHLY recommend this clinic because they make it obvious that they care deeply about their clients AND their humans. Thanks so much! ❤️

Great staff, friendly and professional

After paying 1700$ at the emergency msu vet clinic (where country garden has you take your pet when it’s after hours) they would not write the rx for the special food our cat needs; even after msu sent them the paperwork showing all notes labs etc... stating he has to have another vet visit in the clinic. Ridiculous, and only after money. Will be changing vet clinics.

These people here are amazing! After me and fiance moved to jackson about 4 months ago we needed to find a good vet for our senior dog and for our new rottweiler puppy Ava. We chose this one because they are only 5 minutes from our house. Whenever we need anything or have any questions they are always there and through with everything. We recently had a puppy emergency yesterday and they got us in within 20 minutes and took excellent care of my pup and they are very decently priced for being a full service vet. Would definitely recommend and wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else! ♡

Had to stay in car for my cats appointment, but it was efficient, less stressful, and i think it would be great to continue this way. It was a routine appointment well done.
