Hayden Run Animal Lodge Hilliard, Ohio

Just started to bring our two dogs here after some rough experiences at a doggy day care where are dogs kept getting sick from. We've done two extended stays in 2021 and will be using Hayden Run Animal Lodge exclusively moving forward. Here your animal will be free of picking up anything from other animals as they don't interact with other animals boarding. This was great for us because our dogs have each other. Both times when we picked our dogs up you could tell they had a great time. The staff remembered our dogs for the second stay and you could tell they truly love taking care of animals. It's not cheap but it's 100% worth every dollar. We opt for the two romps a day because we have two high energy boxers and they must love them because they're always happy and exhausted when we pick them up. We also opt for the bedtime treat and there's plenty of other options to spoil your animal! We know our dogs are in great care at Hayden Run Animal Lodge!

I absolutely love Hayden Run Animal Lodge! We have been taking our beagle (Spoons) there since she was a puppy 16 years ago. The staff is wonderful, friendly and go above and beyond. They treat Spoons just like their own. Spoons is deaf and blind and they take excellent care of her. When I drop Spoons off I know she is in good hands. Hayden Run Animal Lodge is the best!!

Such a great place! I left my dog with them for almost a week and they took such great care of him. They informed me upon pick up of any “issues” he had with his food or going to the bathroom. I was originally nervous leaving him at the hands of complete strangers but this little “hotel” was a perfect choice. I picked him up and he was happy, clean and safe! Would trust them with my dog again. They have a bunch of options to add extra love and attention to your pets stay and I love that.

The professionals at Hayden Run Animal Lodge might as well be part of our family- I trust them that much. Our dogs are thrilled to get out of our car to see their caregivers. When we pick them up they have always been healthy and happy! We have been going to Hayden Run for over 12 years and have never left our dogs anywhere else. I highly recommend them.

We have been going here for years!!! They take such great care of our two dogs and kitty. Whenever we arrive our dogs get super excited because they know where they are! We love Hayden Run Animal Lodge and the fine folks who work there! Our Sophie will soon be 14 years old. They love Sophie and take such great care of her! She is now elderly and must take medication. That is never a problem at HRAL. She has never been to another kennel. We were on vacation when she turned 12, and Hayden Run Animal Lodge sent the below Happy Birthday photo to us by email. I swear Sophie is smiling because of this special attention they provide! Even before Sophie, our Buddy only went to Hayden Run Animal Lodge. This place is GREAT!! Wonderful staff wonderful facilities--my furry family member always seems very happy after he has stayed here. They have plenty of room for my rascal to get some fun outside. The staff is always very pleasant and accommodating if I have a special request. They also have many nice boarding options from which to choose to keep the big furry rascals happy. :)

I have been taking my dog Zoe to Hayden Run since I moved to Columbus almost 4 years ago. They are friendly and professional every time! They are a family run business and they make you feel like your pet is part of their family during their stay. They offer multiple types of enclosures for your pet and plenty of special add-ons to help make your pet feel at home, including one on one play time and cuddles, special treats, walks, and a bath before going home. Zoe always comes home having enjoyed her time at Hayden Run. I can’t recommend Hayden Run enough and know there is no other place I would board my fur baby in Columbus!

A great place for your doggos!

The only place I'll be taking my dog from now on. I came to check this place out when looking at different kennels for my dog. They were very friendly and gave me a tour of the facilities. The place looked clean (for a kennel) and orderly. I appreciate that it's a family run business. The policies are very clear and I'm glad to see they require every animal to have all its shots. They also offer several different types of enclosures, as well as several extras like nightly snacks and a go home bath. The bath is a great option so you don't go home with a smelly dog. They've also been nice enough to give my dog extra walks and a free bath the one time he soiled his enclosure. My dog always comes home happy from this place. Now that they have online scheduling, it's such an easy process.

Owner is a great women

I just returned from a 3 week trip and left my dog in the care of Hayden Run Animal Lodge. I settled on them after vetting numerous pet boarding services and sitters and I am thankful I did! I was new to the area and had not had to board my fur-baby since moving, so leaving him at a new place for 3 weeks was a little daunting. They sent me photos when I asked and upon pick up, my pup was in good health and spirits. Didn't smell too bad either! :) The woman who owns the facility is a joy as well. The phone frequently goes to voicemail, but they are quite responsive to emails. I will return to them the next time I need boarding services!

I've been taking my dogs to Hayden Run Animal Lodge for a number of years. The dogs love going there! The staff is kind, knowledgeable and take great care of the dogs. I like the indoor/outdoor kennels. They've been able to accommodate medications and special circumstances for my senior age dogs. They provide feedback about their stay when I pick them up. Unlike most kennels, they provide grooming options, sofa time or a romp in the field to meet the needs of active dogs. I've had tried a number of different local kennels over the years and I can tell if the dogs are treated well based upon the behavior when I pick them up or drop off during a subsequent visit. I don't trust many people with my dogs, but I know they are in good hands at Hayden Run!

Great experience!!! I had to board my 10 yr old Husky for the first time and they made the whole process so easy and comfortable. They took great care of him. We will definitely be using them in the future! (already booked his stay for our next vacation).

Friendly, caring and great with our dogs

This is one of the best kennel places I've ever used. My dog loves going there, and I love taking him there. They've accommodated me every time I've needed them. My lab stayed there for 4 days a week for about 5 months. Never had an issue with the service they provide. Now I take him there just to visit.

Well maintained facility. Individual runs. Plus indoor play area. Individual walks available. End of stay bath given. Very reasonable rates. Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.

Hayden Kennel is a great place for our canines to stay-cation. Plenty of perks for our 4 legged babies.

Our dog seems to like staying here more than other places we've tried around town. The owners are always very pleasant and helpful. This is a pretty quiet place that's really well run
