Money hungry, $55 dollars to check my pets ears and say that she had ear mites? Legit $55 just to do something that I already did and told them and they looked for 5seconds and that cost $55, just a joke

Ever one was very nice and very helpful and that were very attended to my filling and answered every question I had the doctor was very good and very easy to understand I recommend them to everyone that wants to take their pet but I also think they will not be sorry I just wish there was more like them

UPDATE: In response to the reply given by Stringtown: There are always risks when any anesthetic agent is administered to a patient, regardless of the length of time the patient is anesthetized. In fact, it is estimated that approximately 1 in 100,000 animals will have some sort of reaction to an anesthetic agent. Reactions can range from mild to severe and include a wide variety of symptoms, such as swelling at the injection site to more serious outcomes such as anaphylactic shock or death. I don't care how small the risk is, to take that risk for no real reason is HIGHLY worrisome when considering they are making life and death decisions about my puppy. I am very glad they called and I was given the chance to say no. Why they wanted to use anesthesia on a 10 week old puppy to shave his face is highly concerning. He had another dog bite him, no loose or hanging skin, only a puncture wound. Groomers do it everyday without an issue. AND it was $75 to shave a 1 inch section without the anesthesia! Wow. Very expensive. I could buy a brand new set of very nice high end clippers for that cost! Considering the risk of anesthesia, I personally prefer it to only be used when required. This was not a required use of anesthesia. It seems like the health of my puppy was superseded by an attempt to pad an already over priced bill. As mentioned in other comments, this place is expensive. I have a little more understanding as they did see him when he was hurt and I could not get him into my regular vet. All vets really should be more accepting of emergency situations, because the massive expense of MedVet and OSU are extremely excessive and that is the reason I gave this clinic 3 stars. If they hadn't asked to use anesthesia on him to shave him it would be 5. I just am in shock even a week later they would even consider that approach. It makes me very leary of this vet practice. Keeping a pet healthy and safe should be number one, not making their job easier or padding an already expensive endeavor.

We recently had to put down our dog Buckeye and she had to go to doggie heaven. Stringtown animal hospital helped us with this transition and it was a very special on the care and help they provided.

Super loving staff, took great care of the cat we rescued who turned out to be pregnant. For her, we wanted the laparoscopic spay which is much easier to recover from; less pain and only a couple of tiny incisions. They were able to get us scheduled quickly. I was so frustrated trying to get on the low cost spay/neuter clinics, which is a sad testament to how many cats/kittens there are. PLEASE— spay and neuter all pets, do not buy from breeders, rescue an animal, never advertise them for free, be super careful about who you give kittens/cats/puppies/dogs to; evil people do evil things to these poor babies. I recommend without reservation the Stringtown Animal Hospital— they are caring, loving, spotless clean, brilliant vets and vet techs.

I have a little Corgi that was doing a routine booster and exam. He had gotten into my vitamin D3 bottle and eaten a large majority of the container. The Vet suggested a CBC panel and it was good that she did. Hex the crazy Corgi had elevated abnormal numbers due to his actions. The Dr. Was quick in explaining what was necessary to counteract the effects of too much D3.

Our first visit. Our cat received outstanding care from the techs and Dr. Hughes. We are very pleased with the experience and look forward to many years of working together to help Amy live her best life.

Everyone at Stringtown is the nicest!! We've only seen Dr. Carter so far and he's always been great with our bonbon. All the front desk ladies are amazing, they are always super sweet and always considerate about your wait!! If you live in the area and have a pet you should definitely take them here.

caring vets and techs, they treat your pets with kindness

First time here and had a bad experience. Lady named Casey? I’m not sure, but she was very rude and kept getting smart with me.. hope y’all get enough complaints for her to be gone or people will not like coming their if they get her.. only wanted a few things figured out for my baby and I was close to $1,000… they sure get you with the “free first exam” lol…

Needed an immediate appointment and this place took her right away. They are very thorough and friendly. I would recommend and will bring my dog back in the future if needed.

This vet hospital cares for my animals as if they were their very own. I am so impressed with the doctors and staff. They always fit my dog in when she needs something and take their responsibility seriously. I can't imagine going to any other vet.

My yorkie passed away my german sheppard attacked her and she just had 6 puppies and Dr.Carter and his staff took the puppies in right away to check them and make sure they were doing good they are really good here and attentive with the patients and families

I took my 17 year old cat here until I had to say goodbye. Throughout everything they were so kind and caring towards her. I knew she felt safe there and they would take great care of her! When I had to put my cat down they sent me a card signed by all the employees and it made my heart so happy to know that they cared enough to do that.

This honestly first place I’ve went to since moving back in the city, absolutely great and prices are very affordable. Overall great place
