So I have an aggressive Cane Corso and this is the best place for him. They have big, private kennels for this specific type of dog. They have it setup where everything is hands off so no accidents happen with someone getting bit but yet he can still go outside. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Only negative thing I would say is that it is a little pricey but its worth the money knowing your pet is in good hands with a good safe place for him.

This was our first time boarding our dogs with Von Aries. They said the dogs did great, and were a pleasure to have! We will definitely use their services again!!

I had my dog boarded there over a long weekend and when I got her back she was absolutely filthy. Her fur was crusted and she reeked of urine. She was also appeared desperate to get outside as soon as possible. She didn’t walk normally instead she was crouched low to the ground and looked very scared. I was disappointed to say the least, especially after seeing how well it had been rated. We have never had issues when boarding her at our normal place. Will not be bringing my dog there ever again, especially after the rude interaction over the phone.

This place is amazing! My girlfriend and I have a Dalmatian named Zeus and he is people/animal agressive and is quite bad. We went on a family vacation for 8 days and decided to board Zeus with Von Aries! It is the best decision we have ever made. We were very nervous about potential issues, however no issues happened. They were professuonal and helpful most of all, experienced/knowledagble. We didnt receive any calls and were able to check up whenever we needed. Von Aries made it possible for us to relax and not worry about the well being of our dog while 16 hours away! Thank you Von Aries!!!!

If you love your dog, DO NOT BOARD HERE. This is my opinion, followed by the facts below. I hit one star because you have to leave at least one to post a review. I had a friend check on my puppy while my puppy was being boarded for 6 days. While checking on my puppy, my friend was told directly from staff, puppy had only gone outside once. Received a text from the owner when inquiring about my puppy: Your pet, "is eating good", "seems comfortable and doing good", and "Goes outside 7-8 times a day." Another quote from the owner, the proclaimed dog trainer, "is eating and doing very well". When confronted with worker's comment, kennel proclaimed puppy is aggressive. Please contact me directly about your negative experience with this kennel regarding the poor care quality, false advertising, and deceptive practices; you can find me on youtube. EDIT: in response to the owner's comment, it is astounding how little the kennel owner knows about Great Pyrenees as a self-proclaimed dog trainer of 30 years. Through your passive aggressive comment, you have taken no accountability and have proven to show no integrity. When I arrived to pick up my puppy today, all other dogs were barking - my puppy was the only one silent. He was clearly traumatized; he couldn't wait to leave. Additionally, his back leg was in visible pain. The people who have met and handled my puppy before your kennel stand by the fact that my puppy is not aggressive. I have your words, your falsehoods IN TEXT FROM YOU about my puppy's stay at your kennel. You have assumptions and grandeur. I stand by my words; don't bring your beloved pet to this kennel. There are deceptive practices here. It is my hope that any future pet owners that use this facility, if at all, personally check in on their pets; and that animal care and control investigates for animal abuse and cruelty. **Further, I do not speak in a manner like "When I get out of here all hells going to break loss." - your falsehoods continue. I stated that I would be sure to advocate against your deceptive practices.

I had decent customer service, but however my dog didn’t seem like he liked it there, literally tried running outside after he seen me, once we got outside he took a leak , he just seems a little edgy after I picked him up ... every dog is different so don’t let my opinion make your judgment jus on how my dog reacted, every dog does things differently.. so yours might be perfectly fine here .

Recommend for boarding! My dog Stella has stayed here quite a few times. Before boarding at Von Aries she had shown some aggression towards other boarders and other dogs. When I told the Von Aries staff about my situation, they took the necessary precautions and did everything they could to make Stella more comfortable and less fearful. I also appreciate Von Aries responses when I call to check in on her while she is staying with them.

I took my dog there once and ended up suing them. My dog left there so bruised his skin started to die and he went through months of suffering and Von Aries refused to pay all the vet bills they were responsible for. The owners were rude from the start and do not seem to be knowledgeable about grooming or to love animals. The court ruled that Von Aries was negligent in my dog’s grooming. I gave them a star only because zero wasn’t an option. They’re actually blaming us for what they did, saying he was in renal failure. We told them he had sensitive skin when we dropped him off. Two vets and lab tests proved there was no underlying condition as they claimed. They say it was about money, but it was about what they did to Whisper.

They did not seem to care how my dog looked. After explaining the haircut desired, they seemed to just do what they wanted to get out of there the fastest. I wasn't pleased.

Extremely professional when speaking with them and my dogs looked great. Both my dogs require extra care and that wasn't an issue at all. The biggest factor is that I feel safe leaving my dogs in their care. I would schedule earlier than you think. They book up fast because they are leaders in their field.

I had brought two of our dogs, a coonhound and a bloodhound, over for doggie daycare but had never boarded them. We were having concrete work done and the contractor showed up days early! I called Von Aries, with no notice, and they were great and took Sarge and Sadie right away! Our dogs love Von Aries and are always excited when they know where we are! The staff are very friendly and professional. We highly recommend them to anyone!

They never answer their phone when I call, my dogs hair cuts never come out the way I’d like, but the staff are friendly.

Our family was referred to Von Aries for our grooming needs and today was Archie's first visit. We had warned the staff about our worries that his past groomer had abused him physically based on his responses when he came home from a trimming. Without being present for any of his past haircuts we could only assume that he was bad or tried to bite the groomer and as a result he was hit. Archie is one of our 3 babies and the staff at Von Aries treated him as one of their own family members. I took a break during my work day to check on him and they said he was doing better than they anticipated. Brittany, our groomer, did a wonderful job and for once our little boy came home acting like a dog who was never hit or abused. My wife was very impressed with their facility and how they made sure to have Archie as comfortable as he possibly could. Our hats are off to the entire staff for the Red Carpet Service that they provided today. Many thanks

I live across the street from their establishment. There are two times that I “know” of that they has lost a dog. The first last spring and the dog was found deceased and today another got out. They also like to play with fireworks even when it is not Fourth of July. I have raised my concerns to them that I find it very strange that they do this when they should know better that some dogs are terrified of the loud noise. Their response was then our dog was not trained properly if they were afraid of fire works... completely unacceptable response. Furthermore their response to the lost dog was it happened because someone new let it go and the owners understood. I doubt the owners of their dead dog had cozy warm feelings about losing their pet. Just saying

They know my sweet Georgia here, and when I picked her up there first time they said that they loved the hugs that she gives out. I never even mentioned it to them. Shows how much they actually care for our fur babies. I've been using them for over 2 or 3 years now after they bought out KDs kernel.

NEVER BOARD YOUR DOG HERE. They are responsible for the death of my dog. They neglected to take the proper precautions when letting her out into the yard area and she jumped the fence. My dog had agility training and they were aware of that upon dropping the dog off. Even if they were unaware of that, they are dog trainers, they work with German Shepherds, they know what they are capable of. Many large breed dogs are capable of climbing a six foot fence. She was nervous from being in a new environment and due to their irresponsibility, she ran off and was found dead days later. My dog was “self feed” meaning that she needs food in her bowl at all times throughout the day. She was dropped off at 9:30 am and they lost her at 3:00 pm, when they handed back her stuff her food was unopened and they neglected to feed her. The worst part is, THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED IN THIS KENNEL. The owners told me multiple times that my dog was the first to get out, but I have had multiple people contact me saying that their dog had gotten out under this kennel’s care. I have heard horror stories upon horror stories from customers and past employees. I have worked in the boarding/kennel industry for a very long time now and I’m a certified dog trainer and to see that this business is doing what it’s doing and still defending themselves is upsetting. It is the kennel’s responsibility to provide the proper care for the dogs they board no matter what the dog’s personality or background is. This kennel has failed to do their job. Please be careful of where you board your dogs and really research the business before leaving your dog in their care. REPLY TO OWNER’S COMMENT: You never told us that she bit one of your employees EVER until now (three months later). You have changed your story MULTIPLE times. At first you said there was one employee with her, then you changed it to two employees and now all of a sudden there were four. Why do FOUR employees need to stand outside with a dog? Especially if she was “on a six foot slip lead”. At first you told me that she wasn’t on a slip lead at all. And your “state of the art facility” has guillotine doors, so you just open the door and let the dogs out unmonitored. None of the dogs that board with you are watched outside. YOU ARE A BOARDING KENNEL. You receive dogs from all walks of life with different personalities, if a dog is nervous and scared you should be more cautious around them because that’s when “fear biting” comes into play. You don’t need the owner’s to tell you that because you should already be aware through body language. You claim to be “master and experienced” dog trainers but through your ignorance and childish behavior through social media you come off as a bunch of backyard trainers who don’t know what they’re doing but are money hungry. Every single one of your “excuses” and “explanations” don’t make any sense and just make you sound even more irresponsible and ignorant. You’re rude and heartless for the way you’ve treated us a my dog. Raina had SOME agility training. She had agility training three times a week and each session never lasted more than five minutes. No stress was put on her still growing joints. So why don’t you mind your own business if you don’t know all the facts. Your employees were told that she had agility training and could climb when she was dropped off at your facility. (You wouldn’t know that because you weren’t present at the kennel) You never called. You texted. It doesn’t matter what kennel she was boarded at you’re a boarding kennel, ever single dog that is there is your responsibility and you have failed, your business is at fault and extremely unprofessional with everything you do. Just look at the countless past employees that say how horrible you treat the animals there and all the dogs that have been injured during their grooming. You’re only focus is money, not the proper care and love that each dog in your facility needs. So stop all your childish comments and excuses for what you’ve done. Stop changing your story.

Owner was very rude and talked down to us when we asked about training. Wouldn't trust that kind of perosn with our dog at all. Will not be boarding there again.

Laurie and Brad at Von Aires kennel are wonderful! They have taken great care of Portuguese Water Dog for the past two and half years. In April, our Golden got sick five or six days into his stay while we were out of town and Brad and Laurie went above and beyond to rush him to our Vet. Our hearts were broken when we got the call that he needed to be put down because a tumor had ruptured on his heart. Laurie went back to the Vet and helped manage the situation. When we returned home 10 days later, Laurie refused to let us pay for our Golden’s stay or for any of the time she and Brad put in to his care. I would recommend Von Aires without hesitation. They really care about your pet!
