1/10/22 Totally my fault, I had the wrong time for Our dogs appointment. I came in an hour early. When I arrived and spoke to the receptionist she seemed confused and asked me to spell our last name. Then she seemed to find our appointment. After waiting about 40 minutes I inquired when we might be called back. She (same receptionist) THEN informed me I had arrived an hour early. This felt so very inconsiderate. I live 5 minutes from the clinic. Our dog spent that whole time waiting excitedly panting, yet refusing water. By the time I was leaving the building we had been there over 2 hours.

Awesome place for your pet. Great staff and Caring doctors.

They treat my dogs like family and very very nice. I wouldn't want to go to another vet ever again. They won me my first time visit and my dogs are not scared to go to this vet.

I sat in the waiting area for 1HOUR!!! Asked twice why everyone was going into rooms that came in after me. They kindly apologized yet it still continued to happen as I sat and waited. At 1 hour and 5 min I left.

They were fantastic and quick about getting my werewolf guinea pig in. From the scheduler to the veterinarian, they were all super friendly, knowledgeable and very educational. Their prices were reasonable and affordable as well! I will definitely be recommending and returning in the future. Great place for small exotic/pocket pets in the Fort Wayne area.

It was good & they were great with our cat would recommend them to anyone else.

I will never go anywhere but here! Whether my reptiles need their help, or my cats/dog for their checkups. I know my babies are in good hands here.

I would absolutely not recommend this vet beyond basic yearly shots. I took my dog in for what I assumed was a UTI, she was seen and we got her meds. Her symptoms worsened the next few days and she was lethargic, urinating bright red blood and also began having seizures and had not been keeping any food or water down. I called to get her in again because this was clearly not a basic uti. I was told that her symptoms were not an emergency and they were booked full the next 3 days. I literally begged them to see her and recieved the most uncompassionate response imaginable. Needless to say I took her elsewhere and due to the complications and pain she was in, she was humanely uthanized. I can't help but think that had she recieved proper care, she'd still be here.

Hands down, best vet around.

Will your animal receive the necessary care? Without a doubt! It's clear the staff is committed to taking care of your pet, it is also very clear Indian Creek Vet is popular and focuses on volume of customers. Everytime I call, I am asked to be put on hold and the range of the wait time is about 5 - 9 mins. Everytime I arrive and call to check in(Covid protocol) I am put on hold and wait quite a while. When I walk in to check in for my appt, I am waiting in a long line of customers. When I do have my appointment I am made to feel rushed during the process. I don't necessarily mind the waiting part, but I need to be able to discuss my concerns with the team so I feel like I am walking away a good/better pet parent. Sadly, I never walk away with that feeling. I know my pets are receiving the necessary care but I am not growing and understanding during the process because of the lack of time during our appointment. I can only imagine how tough it is to turn away pets in need, but when the volume of your appointments saturates your staff's capabilities, your level of service suffers. I hope they can address this challenge and either grow to accommodate or better manage their dailies.

Front desk staff is rude! I was referred by a pet store to see this specific vet for avian care, as I have a sick cockatiel! I waited in the parking lot for them to open, and upon entering I was treated as if I had no business even being at this establishment! I was told they aren’t accepting new bird patients and dismissed! I understand businesses are dealing with staff shortages and such, but there was no other recommendations or referrals. Just an individual with a nasty attitude and a dismissal, very disheartening.

I’ve been coming to Indian Creek for 10 years. The Doctors and staff are amazing. I appreciate their knowledge, compassion and professionalism. I recommend Indian Creek to anyone looking for a wonderful veterinarian. You will be completely satisfied.

The people who work here love animals and have always taken great care of our pooch.

My family has taken our pets here for almost 13 years and Dr. O'Leary has always been attentive and caring and answers all questions you may have. All of the staff really do care about your pets! Friendly reminder to BE KIND to the staff. Veterinary services are more stressed and short staffed as they ever have been, everyone is trying their best to keep to keep everyone safe in the pandemic. People who work in vet medicine do it because they love animals.

I do reccomend at all. Terrible service, long wait times and I spend more time with vet techs than actual vets. And now a neighbors dog who was in for a simple procedure never came home. The owners still do not have answers on how their young dog passed away!!! DO NOT GO TO THEM!!!

Excellent animal care. Plenty of parking. Only one handicapped spot for parking but is right near entry.

Editing this review because I was able to go inside at my last visit. Dr. Cawood was attentive, responsive and was able to quickly diagnose our dog. It was a much better experience and I am glad to have had the opportunity to revisit. Its still expensive - but I really appreciated Dr. Cawood. -------------------- I have been going for 11 years. The quality has been fine and while i felt it was over priced... it was near home and convenient. This week - they did not have my appointment on record after i had made one thru the pet portal at their suggestion. Then it appears there is no intention of allowing pet owners to go inside in the future now that there are signs in the parking spaces. We no longer even have a mask mandate snd were able to go in a few months ago but now- we are not. It is ridiculous that I can not accompany my pet inside. The phone call was an inadequate way to communicate why I brought him in. The vet did not address the issues I had and instead brought up new. The billing process kept the actual dollar amount a secret until I got my email which first had gone to spam. I have no idea what or if he was examined yet I am charged 25 for the visit and 25 for the exam. After 11 years I’m actively seeking new care.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET TO Indian Creek Vet, Fort Wayne Our family experience has gone down hill the past 5 years to a serious lack of quality. Indifferent, careless, lacking empathy, lacking kindness, lacking general healthcare integrity because it’s obvious what is most important here: getting paid for services not actually serving or carrying out a service itself. The office is a way for people to finance a lifestyle that is being paid by those who visit the facility. Vote with your feet & MAKE AN APPT WITH ANOTHER VET

Dr. Smith and Dr. Caywood are fabulous!! We, personally, avoid O'Leary. We would rather wait a week for an appointment with Smith or Caywood before we resort to being seen by O'Leary.

Some of the staff are rude and lack compassion. I also no longer feel confident in their ability to diagnose and treat based on past experience here.

They are the best and caring Vets I've ever had!! They are thorough with their exams and have the least expensive fees. My beautiful cat has been seen by them since he was a tiny kitten and he is now a healthy four years old. We just love their service and friendliness, they treat him well plus they have convenient hours. We moved out of state to CA so I had to have a Vet out west there, but they dont even come close to the care and attention given to my cat here at Indian Creek and the prices of his Annual Exam and shots are double!! So as soon as we moved back to Fort Wayne, IN I called and made an appointment with Indian Creek, I just took him in today and I am very pleased and satisfied!! We will stay clients of Indian Creek

Excellence in vet care at is best. First time experience here after moving to other side of town. Compassion was given to poor rescue kitten I found and they took fabulous care of her. Will bring my other animals here as well with no reservation.

needed an exam and got it. mask required. didn't have one so had to go back to my car while my dog was with them. I'm fully vaccinated so it would have been helpful during these times to just have them provide me a mask. but it was fine I trusted them with a simple exam and it went well.
