They will not accept the cats i have for them

I adopted my Prince, Jasper (formerly known as Oliver), from Colony Cats about 2 weeks ago. The staff was very helpful, patient, and kind! They even let me borrow a cat carrier, as I didn’t have my own, and told me to bring it back when I’m able to. No strings attached. Their willingness to be so giving to a total stranger really sat w me! As well as providing a ton of helpful advice for adopting a new pet and food/vitamins for him to start off. He is now in a loving home, thanks to the volunteers, staff, and donations given to Colony Cats. I highly recommend to anyone looking to find a cat that fits well with you! I love that it’s cage free.

We have their cats in our Pets Supplies Plus store in Hilliard, we love each and every cat that comes to us. We do the adoptions out of the store, Beckie from Colony Cats is amazing and always brings us the sweetest cats. Stop in our store and check out the cats we have too. I also adopted a cat from them and he is the best! Thanks for all you do!!

Loved it. I found my new kitty there. Pretty easy adoption process and fairly cheap for all that your new cat will have. Shots, spayed/neutered, chipped. A lot of different cats to chose from.

Staff is very knowledgeable.Great selection of cats.

Interesting place....lots of sweet, very socialized and ready to adopt purries of all sizes/ages. Set up to be very interactive. Holding, petting, singing to the cats encouraged. Nice staff. AND the have a thrift store right next door which helps fund the shelter. Lots of good stuff.

I was really impressed with facility and the staff!! The no cage concept allowed us to interact with many different cats and allowed us to make the choices we felt related to us and each other!! They provided us with medical records and chip info - my bet was impressed!! Karen was very helpful setting up my account. I had a follow up call with Amanda with their staff - she was extremely helpful!! They were very busy on Thursday evening - I understand!! Staffing is tough everywhere - these are volunteers who obviously love cats!!

They're pretty great here. I love that they keep the kittens and the juveniles separate since I wanted a very specific kind of cat. He's wonderful (and he's got some friends left who are very sweet if you're on the prowl for your next feline). They also make sure you've got support for health issues within the first 2 weeks (which I did and I very much appreciated). I almost wish I could get them to decorate my house too!

I adopted Gubbie, now Nori, on Saturday and she has just been a wonderful kitten. The rescue and her foster home raised a loving , BIG snuggle bug, and playful furry friend. I am so thankful for all the help I have received from the volunteers. Thank you again for everything!

Relaxed atmosphere. I met unique kitties who were all surprisingly behaved.

As someone who loves cats more than humans, I felt entirely disrespected of value to an incredibly special kitten. It was like I was fighting for something behind a screen. They text you rather than actually get to know you as an adopter. Would you adopt a baby from somebody who reads online applications and hides behind their phone with any concern? You sit down with the customer and be wholesome. A quite simple but lost ethic.

Great place to adopt a pet

Hello i posted a review about petsmart on Facebook about how they partially shaved my dog and did not complete his cut due to him barking so much because he is a baby and the person of this company sent me a private message , very unprofessional. Instead of calling me names , this company could have said nothing at all .

Love these guys. Knowledgeable & caring. They recently reopened aftere the pandemic and now the crowds are larger, expect to wait in line.

I love that this is a no-kill shelter. Volunteers are very caring people. Adoptions are affordable. Cats (and dogs) are just so lovely. I wish I could adopt them all!!

They re-opened to the public recently! FYI only 10 people are allowed inside at a time for social distancing. If you’re serious about adopting I would suggest taking a look at the list of available cars online first, or even better, taking some time volunteering with them!

Couldn't find the cat I came for and gave me the wrong paperwork and I had to correct them. The volunteers didn't seem trained.

Do not bring your furbaby here asking for help to get them fixed, you might not get them back. A very deceptive and conniving place. Won't even give me a copy of the form I supposedly signed. A form I was coerced to sign under false pretenses by their representative. Truly untrustworthy and their volunteers are either just as bad or not told proper information.
