North Kenny Veterinary Hospital Columbus, Ohio

I've been going to North Kenny Veterinary Hospital for almost a year now, and have zero complaints. Every staff member I have interacted with here- vets/vet techs/front desk staff- have been very warm, helpful, and knowledgeable. Patient care has been great, even with covid restrictions in place and not being able to go in for appts. Quick service, fair prices, wonderful communication. Highly recommend.

I don't have much experience with cost or vets as this is my first dog, but their rates seem reasonable. I've been happy with both vets we have seen there and all the techs and office staff are great! Our dog does not like strangers and can be aggressive and very anxious and they deal with him very well! They have been able to diagnose several issues he has had and scheduling appointments has been a breeze.

Great experience. Everything was explained to me. Friendly and helpful staff. Very short wait time. COVID-19 Protocols in place.

I take my dog to NKVH, and have always had a great experience. We see Dr. Bauer, but the entire veterinary care team is great. The Client care team, the veterinary technicians, and the assistants are kind and compassionate.

When you get to the vet hospital you call them and they come out and get your pet take it in when done they bring it back to you with the bill

I've been going to North Kenny Vet since November/December 2017 shortly after adopting our dog Mandy. Mandy was in a shelter in St. Thomas and got displaced after Hurricane Irma and my wife & I adopted Mandy from my mother-in-law through PetSearch where she fostered Mandy. Throughout the entirety of bringing Mandy to North Kenny Vet they have adored her as much as we have, the staff is super friendly and absolutely love her, and having worked with 3 of the doctors at North Kenny Vet (Dr. Goode, Dr. Bauer, and Dr. Stafford) I have genuinely enjoyed every interaction with them. They answer all my questions, they are thorough and inquisitive asking about any issues or symptoms with Mandy, including from previous appointments, and I have the utmost confidence and trust in them. I know not everyone is as lucky to take their pet to a veterinary that is transparent and puts their mind at ease all the time that their pet is being taken care of, but that is 100% how I feel every time I take Mandy here. It never feels like a chore to bring her here because I know the doctors make an effort to tend to Mandy and give me feedback/recommendations for any questions/considerations I have and the staff spoil her. I will always recommend North Kenny Vet and will continue to bring Mandy and my future adopted pets here no matter where I live in the Columbus area. This is a very untrustworthy business. They will charge you for services, even if they are "unable to do them". They told us they're a "no pain" vet, and that the moment a dog yelps they stop what they're doing. However, they conviently use covid as an excuse to keep owners out of their building so they can charge you before you get your pet returned only to find out nothing was done. They also do this to give your pet shots, without informing you, until you receive a bill. My exprience may have been a fluke but I just cannot bring myself to trust these people.

Brought our new kitten for his first vet visit and we were very impressed. Gentle & caring staff who adored him as much as we do. Pleased to have found such a great vet! ????

Would highly recommend this vet hospital. Dr. Goode and Dr. Bauer (and all the vets) are exceptional and understand how much my dogs mean to me. They do go the extra mile.

I'm happy with this vet. They don't go above and beyond but I think they have good care.

So far we've been happy with this vet. But listen, our cat was coughing for a week straight. Poor thing, she was heaving and hacking up until we put her in the carrier to go to the vet. And then nothing. Not a peep! Vet said she was fine but gave us some meds for kitty asthma just in case. Damn cute fur ball.

This is a great location. They were nice, sweet, and overall great to my puppy. He was so scared at first but they calmed him down by the time is was over. 5/5

We love North Kenny so much that even after moving an hour away, we continued to use them as our vet. We have seen multiple veterinarians there and they are all top-notch. The office staff is also extremely friendly and helpful.

I've been taking my cats to North Kenny Vet Hospital since 1984. The vets and vet techs and front office staff are the best. They are warm and friendly and professional and I feel like my cats get the best quality care. Really appreciate how they have streamlined the process during the Covid-19 pandemic to make it easy and seamless to do a curbside drop-off and pick-up.

Awesome staff and prompt treatment.

I can't thank them enough all though it was a very sad day for us. We had woke up to our dog in alot of pain at 5am. Savannah was truly amazing and compassionate. I couldn't of asked for a better staff and more caring people. I would recommend them to anyone. I've never seen such compassionate caring amazing people. Morgan the office manager was amazing and compassionate as well. The Dr was just everyone. But they really went above and beyond for my daughter and I. RIP COOKIE

I have been coming here for 9 years for the care of my cat. The techs are fantastic, and the vets are extremely kind and really listen to the owners. My cat has had all of her care here while I’ve lived in Ohio, and it’ll stay that way with any other animal I have! Update after my most recent appointment. My cat fell and I was extremely scared of what was up with her. Dr. Bauer and all the other staff were so caring, kept in contact with me, and eased my anxiety as a cat mom, especially since I couldn’t be in there with her. She is doing much better and I just can’t thank this practice enough!!!!

I took our two kitties to North Kenny Veterinary Hospital today and was SO pleased with my experience! Every dealing I had with them before and during the appointment was pleasant. They were very responsive when I reached out asking for information about costs for a wellness exam and I was able to get an appointment scheduled at a convenient time for me that wasn’t too far out. At the appointment, the secretary, technician, and veterinarian were all very friendly and helpful. I was very satisfied with the price they were giving to begin with and they set me up with their reward system which made the wellness exams even more affordable. My cats were pretty calm when it was over so I could tell they must have given them great care. I also appreciated the precautions they were taking with COVID by doing a “curbside” system, it ran really smooth. I HIGHLY recommend this vet!!

So many outstanding reviews from kitty owners, all true, I'm sure. But hey, let's hear it for the dogs. Always patient, always kind. Although all of the vets are knowledgeable and kind, Dr. Ott has taken care of our pack for years. Highly recommend this practice. Outstanding!

Update: I had my first experiences with Dr Stafford. She is a great addition to the practice! Dr. Ott is wonderful...friendly, caring and loving as well as direct. The front of house staff is always friendly and helpful even when it is crazy busy. All of the techs I have had over the past three years have been kind, compassionate and seem very on the ball. Whenever I have been in for a health concern I ALWAYS receive a follow up call to check on how our dog is doing...amazing. I love this practice!
