Dr. Beckett saved my furry son's life. Other Vets said to put him down due to damage and cost. However, Dr. Beckett said he will help us and can fix my babies jaw. The staff was very informative and helpful, at all times. They GENUINELY care.

Wish I could give VCA Mill Run more than 5 stars! I came in for a Sunday sick visit - and the care that my cat Hobbes received from Dr. Vazquez was just amazing. She was so warm and friendly but most importantly caring and that really came through. She and the rest of the hospital staff were able to get me in on short notice for something that I thought at the time might have been an emergency. Dr. Vazquez took time to explain things to me fully and also gave me suggestions for things to do at home to help my cat; honestly the best vet Hobbes has seen so far. The holidays are busy especially around Christmas time so I appreciated that they took the time to fit us in. Will definitely be coming back.

The doctors here are top notch, and I always appreciate that the front desk staff is helpful and friendly. I think some doctors offices for us humans could learn a thing or two from these guys! My single hesitation is that things are a little expensive, including some prescriptions. But I suppose you get what you pay for. We've been patients for over 10 years now, so I think that really says it all!

My regular vet was closed on Sunday, and I called ahead to see if VCA could see my car since he was acting strange. They were able to squeeze him in between appointments to accommodate my work schedule, and they figured out right away that my cat had an obstructed bladder and it was classified as an emergency, which was very scary. They took the time to explain all of the procedures and gave me a lot of resources and education on the issue. Over the next 2 days while they cared for him, they sent me multiple daily updates and pictures of my cat, and they couldn’t have been more friendly and more caring. I can’t thank them enough for what good care they took of my kitty and I will probably end up making them my new normal vet.

The boarding for dogs and cats is scary. The dogs are in this warehouse with cement floors and a big fan at the roof and no source of heat. I saw multiple dogs just sitting at the top (of the very small cages) shivering and barking non-stop. This would not be the best place to board your animal, especially not in the winter unless you want significant behavior problems or you want your animal miserable on top of missing you.

I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else. I’ve been coming here for 15 years and probably always will.

I have now used VCA Mill Run for all three of my animals for a few months. Often I am seen quickly for my scheduled appointments but the times I’ve had to wait have been heavy emergency days for other people. Either way, the staff has been responsive and professional in addressing my concerns for each of my animals. Today, I had an emergency and brought my cat into the hospital towards the end of the day (on a Sunday, no less). I was seen immediately and each member of the staff at VCA Mill Run was attentive and extremely caring while they ran tests on and diagnosed Meech. We had to make some very hard decisions and everyone I was in contact with shared my concern and treated us with care up until we left, much later than they closed. I am incredibly grateful for their responsiveness and ability to take us in with such short notice. Through my visits I have worked with many different doctors and have been pleased with their advise and expertise. I will happily wait for each of my appointments knowing that my furry family members are in good hands.

Very well run Vet clinic with extended hours . Lots of Vets on staff ...many of whom are female, which I support.

We had a very sick dog and couldn't get Jack in anywhere for the last 24 hours. We were so worried, but VCA Mill Run worked us in and our Jack is doing so much better now. Dr Adriana Martinez and the staff was so kind and caring and we can't thank them enough for caring for our dog!

Completely wasted an afternoon here. Left work to take my dog to a vaccination appointment. An hour after his appointment time I was offered a new time and date because they had no doctors available?! Very poorly run. Unprofessional.

Took both the boys to Dr. Adriana Martinez and she was amaZing! Super nervous going into the procedures cause they will both be put under anesthesia. The staff was amazing at making sure that I felt comfortable under their care. Dr. Martinez kept us informed the entire time with every step they were taking. I would recommend Dr. Adriana, professional and very personable with both the pet owners and pets.

While they were quick to get my pet in, they were very slow to provide any information. I also feel their prices are very high and they prey on your situation. I will not take any other dog there again.

VCA has added time to our dogs life thanks to their amazing care of our Senior Dog Zeus. Zeus is a 12 year old Great Dane/Rottweiler mix who we adopted when he was just 1 year old. We took Zeus to VCA for a second opinion on a Mass Cell Tumor Diagnosis on Zeus's foot that we had received from another Vet. We were fotunate enough to meet Dr.Beckett and he confirmed the original diagnosis of a Mass Cell Tumor between Zeus's toes on his right front paw. Zeus had a total of 3 surgeries. After the first one, the mass cell tumor returned in less than a month. Dr Beckett suggested an amputation of a toe for a 2nd surgery but within 2 months, the mass cell tumor had returned. We than opted for a 3rd surgery to remove a 2nd toe and it has now been almost 6 months since the 3rd surgery and there is no sign of the tumor returning. Zeus is full of energy again and has a fresh renewal of life. Hair has fully grown in where his toe was removed and he is doing great. My wife, son & myself all are eternally grateful for Dr Beckett, as well as the caring and wonderful staff of VCA. The amazing care and love Zeus has received has added time to Zeus's life and we are forever grateful for every minute we get with him. Before & after every procedure, Dr Beckett kept open communication with us and the clinic worked with us & allowed us additional time to pay for the several surgeries that Zeus needed but did not delay in his care. Thank You! Update:Unfortunately, Zeus lost his battle with Cancer in November 2019, just 4 days before Thanksgiving! The cancer had spread up his leg and in to his shoulder. However, this does not change the fact that the VCA Dr's & Staff are absolutely amazing and provided the best care possible for Zeus. Our other 2 Senior Dogs, Pharoh & Jackson are currently patients as well as our newly adopted puppy Orion.
