I guess you forfeit any petco rewards upon purchase and thus petco rewards are not applicable during the exchange process... I guess this location is very short staff...never many associates around when I come by.

Nice place to take your dog to pick out her own toy

I shop for insects and theyre harder to come by and keep alive in the winter in PA. The managers are great about it, very understanding and helpful. I suggest to any cricket buyers to bring your own cardboard/egg carton to put in the bag with them to keep from crushing and eating each other.

i’ve been to this petco before and had a good experience where i was able to adopt five new female mice last year i was looking to add more mice into my colony so i called the only place near me that carried females i called ahead to make sure they had females in stock and was told yes so i drove over an hour there to get them when i arrived i asked where the females were and they said they only had feeder mice that were only white i said it was ok because i had already driven an hour just to get there i asked a total of three times if they would be females and was told everytime that they would be so i went home and introduced them to my other girls i sat there and watched them interact for the first time and would see my females fight with the new ones the new mice were beating their tails on the ground showing a sign of dominance (which isn’t common in female mice) i separated the new mice from my original females and then checked the gender of both the new mice and saw they were both males i already have male mice and i don’t want anymore so i called the store and told them that i was sold the wrong gender when an employee (not the one that had sold me the mice) told me that they didn’t have any females in stock right then he told me i could return them the next day i then had to drive another hour there to return them and leave with no female mice

This place is neat, clean & well-stocked every time I visit. They have a nice array of different pet foods as well as toys, treats & anything else you didn't realize you needed. It's great! Masks not necessary, at this present time. And the employees are always friendly as well.

Nearest location to me to have done a couple pickups but the workers both times were kinda rude. They act like im inconveniencing them when asking for my stuff while they're standing there doing nothing.

I don't even wanna give them 1 star. Second time trying to get my dog in and they have no hot water ? They said they called the day before my appointment t cancel but they did not and my bf almost drove all that way for nothing! If I didn't call to ask a question we would have never known!! I have text confirmation the morning of! Now today Tuesday after my Sunday appointment someone calls tell me it was canceled and I could reschedule but I tried to get a manager for 5 calls and they continued to "disconnect". Company is a joke and I will tell everyone I know to never go to PetCo !!! Anywhere!!

I only come for aquarium thing. Mainly live fish. I live in Butler but your butler store's fish seem to always be under quarantine. I'm glad to see you are taking your fish's health seriously and in doing so also protecting my fish, but because of this I usually go to the cranberry store. The cranberry store has a much bigger selection. The only thing they didn't have was cherry shrimp. ????

Ooh, my son adopted 2 guinea pigs and they are so cute! Jake and Douglas. Got all of the previous owners stuff to which really made it affordable. The young lady that helped us was fantastic! Definitely go back for all our supplies!

Petco Grooming Review First of all, the store is clean and the sales employees are for the most part friendly and eager to help. My review here is principally focused on Petco's Grooming service. I took my dog here for several grooming visits. What follows is an evaluation of this part of their operations in the Cranberry location: I was initially drawn and impressed because they took me in immediately for a nail trim for my new puppy, and because they had glass windows so that I could watch my dog. Several things since then have eliminated the trust I had given them: 1. Insulting clients - I was once dropping my dog off. The pet groomer was bringing her to the grooming table when she stopped to answer the ringing phone. A moment later, she replied into the phone “It will be another 60 minutes before your dog is ready”, and then immediately laughed to her other groomers “God, is he insane? He just dropped his dog off 1 hour ago.” There were several instances of groomers discussing client behavior like this. Now, I recognize that people need to blow off steam sometimes, and sometimes clients can be unreasonable. Therefore, I didn’t think much of it and continued on with PetCo. 2. Upselling - The groomer, after my second visit, gave me a pamphlet for a PetCo program that involved unlimited nail trims/teeth brushing for a low monthly price. This sounds great on the surface. When I went to sign up, I saw the fine print that there was a minimum of a 1 year commitment. This was not disclosed upfront, but still, not a big deal - I decided to watch how things went over a few more visits before taking this step. 3. Misrepresentation - This is where the groomer began to lose my trust. I had specifically booked a groomer well in advance. She knew this. The grooming day arrives, and I notice a younger girl following my requested groomer towards me. The groomer sat down at the desk and took my payment, while this unknown girl proceeded towards my dog. She did not introduce herself to me, instructed me to take off my dog's harness, and then tied a leash around my dog’s neck (something that I had been staying away from per veterinary advice due to her trachea’s risk of collapsing). She then began tugging my dog towards the grooming station, thereby constricting my dog's airway. My dog kept resisting and trying to stay behind my legs. My dog's air flow was briefly interrupted. At this point, I asked the groomer who this girl was. Her response: “Oh, that’s our trainee.” If I had know that I would be paying $70 (tip included) for a trainee to handle my dog like this, I would have gone elsewhere. She took my dog out of sight. My dog is dependent on me for her care and protection, and I take that role seriously. I gave PetCo Cranberry several shots, but ultimately I see enough red flags here that my instincts are telling me it is not worth it to come here. Overall verdict: Do not recommend.

It was my fault that I chose the wrong size doggy diapers that I had to return. Service is and always is professional.

This will likely be the last time we go here. The new younger employees are extremely unprofessional and need to learn that passive aggressiveness isn’t the way to communicate with their customers. Extremely put off by the gentleman who was closing this evening with another girl. Do yourselves a favor and have a talk with this boy or you’re just going to keep losing lifelong customers. Plain and simple.
