People working here seem so nice but they charge you as much as they can. They just do exam or whatever unnecessary things even though you don't want it. Not only once but several times I've experienced. I've been taking my dog here for about 4 years now because this vet is the closest to my home. I really wanted to keep visiting here but I'm not sure anymore.

First time visit. Dr. Walters and staff were very thorough with the exams and information of my 2 boys.

My 16.5 year old dog has developed anxiety while on car rides. Vetcare Animal Wellness Clinic was helpful in getting her on meds to help with her condition. While we stopped taking her for grooming, we do take her to Vetcare Animal Wellness Clinic for monthly nail trimmings. Recently, my dog had an appointment for a nail trimming but her anti-anxiety meds hadn’t kicked in yet. I arrived stressed and told the tech not to take any chances if my dog would not cooperate as she will bite if under stress. The tech told me not to be concerned, they got it. About 15 minutes later, both the tech and my dog returned to my car. The tech explained that they put a muzzle on my dog, which calmed her down so they could safely trim her nails. The folks Vetcare Animal Wellness Clinic are amazing!

They have been great for the regular care of all my dogs but were so helpful when my new puppy got hurt and needed emergency care. They got us right in and took the best care of him. I am so grateful for everything they have done!

We've taken our 2 cats and dog here for years! We've always received great care, prices are very reasonable, and if you can believe it- our dog LOVES going to the vet. They go out of their way to send us personalized post cards and reminders when our zoo is due for a visit too. Highly recommend!

I felt compelled to write a review considering I was almost steered away. I had amazing service here from start to finish. They are not super expensive?? I’m not sure why people are saying that and the vet calls you during the visit to discuss all tests etc. We came up with a game plan based on what I wanted. Absolutely amazing service from start to finish. Thanks so much!!

My regular vet, Animals R Special in New Albany, didn’t have any availability because I needed a last minute appointment on a Saturday. This was the only place I could get an appointment for my dog on such short notice. My first complaint is that they took my sick dog away from me back to the back for weight and temp. I didn’t like that at all. 2nd, The dr didn’t even address the reason I brought my dog in. He moved right on to intimidating me into getting her tested by blood work for something that I didn’t feel was necessary. Again, taking her away from me. Sure enough the test came back negative. Finally, still not addressing my concerns, he recommended something else that involved 2 different shots of medication (took her away from me for a 3rd time) and some pills for her to take over the next few days. She’s not getting any better, getting worse in fact. Instead of the $48 exam fee that I expected to pay, my bill cane to almost $200. I have an appointment with my own vet later today. Now I have to spend more money to find out what the real problem is. ????

Was totally impressed with Dr Taylor and this place. There are the little things and continued diagnostic services provided for my dog that gaveme peace of mind, made things easier for me, and ensured my dog was healthy. Worked well with me on recommendations and how to help Anubis and I truly appreciated that. I was very happy that he was recommended to me while I'm in the area.

Everyone was friendly enough, I guess, but I wouldn't really know because I wasn't allowed in the building with my dog (due to covid concerns). Not sure if the is normal practice for vets these days, but I really wish the tech who scheduled my appointment had informed me. I would have gone somewhere else.

Great place very trust worthy

My cats and dog were seen here and I was given the option to bring my cats back for vaccines two weeks later but was not disclosed that they would be re-examined. I was charged for exams for both cats, twice within a month (a total of $163). With each visit I had to ask the prices for vaccines and with my recent appointment I was called after services were done, I was not given the option to decline the services that I could not afford. They do not notify you of prices before asking for payment. This is not professional and I will not be returning nor will I recommend.

We have been using Vetcare Animal Wellness for 10+ years and have always appreciated their customer service and expertise. In the past couple of months we have had the need to call upon them with short notice as our furry family has hurt themselves playing. The staff has been quick to get them in and understanding of our circumstances. The care given to our pets has been extraordinary and the prices very fair. We owe a big thank you to Dr. Cormany and all her staff.

I wish I had taken my sweet boy here sooner. We had taken my 11 year old dog to a different get and he injured himself and that vet they couldn't see him so we found Vetcare. They could see him the next morning and they were close to home. They even got his records from the other vet. Unfortunately he declined and we took him back in and there was nothing more medically that could be done. We learned that his liver was worse than the previous vet had even informed us. That just added to the pain. The staff was wonderful they gave us time to say goodbye and be with him when they put him to sleep. They even gave us some time after he passed. They even made a paw print for us to keep and let us cut off some of his fur. They may be a little more expensive but worth it in the end knowing my other dog will be well taken care of and for thier compassion and care.

They take amazing care of my two Male cats and are very caring and loving towards animals. I always feel well informed after visits. One of my boys needed to stay for a few nights. I dreaded the bill but they told me the amount up front and did not tack on unnecessary fees, making his hospital stay very affordable. Also, he now is calm during regular check ups because he knows the staff and is not afraid of the hospital. A great sign he was very well cared for! They even sent me a little photograph ID for my boys that looks like a driver's license for cats. Very cute and helpful to have all their information on an Id card.

Too expensive for me ..runs tests I feel are unnecessary. Went in thinking my dog was getting one vaccine, she got 3 and tests I wasn’t expecting at all. They were pretty insistent on the tests...

3 stars because while they are nice, there are some deceptive business practices going on here. Took our cat a few weeks ago for a check up and to get her rabies shot and upper respiratory shot. Vet told us to bring her back for an immunization booster shot. Brought her in, expecting a $23ish bill, get billed $60 for some kit and exam that A, we did not come in for and B, we were NOT told was necessary for this visit the last time we were here. We even SPECIFICALLY told the receptionist we were ONLY here for her to get the immunization shot. Don't come here.

Great staff and great service. Obviously love what they do.
