This place is horrible, point blank! Do not take your dog here even if it’s your last and only option. Horrible communication, my dog hasn’t ate any food in 3-4 days because of it. Dog has been depressed and acting differently since being there so who knows how he is being treated. Paid to have my dogs nails clipped and never happened. Was told my first day of doggy daycare was free and paid $18 for it, therefore better be getting refunded $18. Place is disgusting. Definitely will be looking elsewhere to take my dog, it’s unacceptable!!

Do not I repeat do not take your Dog here! This place is filthy with no cleaning protocol! the owner is rude and unprofessional and the staff is untrained! I would give zero stars if I could!!

My dalmatian Lou loves staying at Playful Pets. He is always in good spirits when I pick him up and takes a big nap when we get home.

Terrible customer service. Steve asked a few questions and we spoke about my pups needs. I told him I had an important event soon and was looking for a place. He got busy, took my number and never called back. Now I have less time to find a place for my pup. That was the 2nd and last time for me.

Our puppy is 4 months old, and is VERY nervous around other dogs. After trying a different doggy daycare who wouldn't accept her because of her shyness, Steve and his staff spent a day working with her (and sending is videos), slowly helping her get used to other dogs, and by the end of the day her tail was wagging and she was part of the pack! We will definitely be back many more times, thank you Steve!!

We moved to Ohio from the south a few months ago and had to choose a daycare place solely based on online research since we were new to the area. Playful pets is my dog Wally’s second home now. Good price and he comes home ready to sleep for hours. Kind service. They already know him and have taken my request to track how much he eats when he gets boarded.

This is the only place I will let groom my Husky. I’m very particular about how my boy is handled and cared for and they always go above and beyond for Rocky. He loves getting the chance to run and play while he’s there also!! Steve and his staff are the best, bar none.

This place is awesome. Not only are they wonderful to all of my dogs, large and small, but they are BEYOND wonderful to my foster dogs. They have worked with dogs who have special needs (deaf, blind, both) and dogs who need a little extra help in adjusting to non-shelter living. All staff members are friendly and they support local businesses and charities. Most importantly, all my dogs are excited to be there and like all the staff members :)

This should be your go-to place to board your dogs and for the best day-care offered in Columbus. Their prices can not be beat, and they provide the safest place for your doggos to play! Steve, the owner is THE BEST to work with, he is a genuinely kind person. He always lets us know exactly how my dogs were and what they did throughout the day, not to mention, he will also give your pup a bath when the occasional messy situation happens. I have two dogs, both under 5 years old. They LOVE Playful Pets. I am always a worried dog momma, and I always feel at ease when they are under the care of Playful Pets.

I love this place so much! They are so kind, very personable and just a quick 2 min drive for us. Turk (our dog) is very energetic and they are so patient and loving with him. We take him there on average 1x a week. A great way to burn off that extra energy. I also used their overnight services 1 time, and the process is super easy. Great (and affordable) Puppy Day Care!

My dog full tilt loves playful pets. Whenever I drop her off for boarding or daycare, she's so excited she does a full body wag and completely ignores me.

Great staff & competitive prices. I love that my dog is out playing with the daycare dogs when overnight boarding. I wouldn't take him anywhere else!

Took our golden retriever for a grooming. She’s nearly 14 but still pretty active...Steve did a wonderful job grooming and trimming and making sure she was absolutely beautiful! Super nice people and wonderful service! Thank you so much!!!

I've had a really good experience so far with Playful Pets. They were accommodating in a short notice, answered all my questions and concerns. Even sent me an update with a photo of my dog while I'm away putting me more at ease.

Steve and Co. do a great job caring for your dogs while you're at work, on vacation or otherwise busy. Their doggie day care is one of the top facilities in the city due to size and indoor/outdoor space. Plus they offer great grooming and boarding at a affordable price that wont leave you sticker shocked. They are always quick to notify you of any behavior issues and show respect to all dogs and owners that walk through their door. It's no wonder my own dog can't get enough of playful pets. Thanks for the great service!

My dog loves it here!! The staff are incredible with the dogs AND the guests! The experience is very personalized. They you & which dog is yours. You get an update on how your dog did and they really care about the wellbeing of the animals. Highly recommend based on the staff and to keep your pup well socialized and exercised! :)

Playful pets is fantastic! My dog drags me in, he is so excited to be there. When I pick him up he is exhausted from his day of play! The people are one phenomenal and the dogs love them.

My 10 year old westie Spanky stayed overnight for 5 days and a few times after that. When I pull up to get him, he always looks like he's having so much fun running around with the other dogs. The staff seem very nice to him as well!

If your dog loves to play this is the best doggy day care near downtown Columbus. This unique setting is a large warehouse converted into an indoor/outdoor open play day care and boarding. The staff is super attentive to the pups and the owner is there every day. The dogs play freely throughout the day and spend very little time in kennels. Highly recommended.
