So happy to have found Sassy Dog through my vet. I have a 6 year old Westie who can be a challenge. I wanted a Westie cut and Angie was very honest when I brought him in and said she would do her best. Sooo happy when I picked him up. He looks adorable. We will back in 8 weeks and will work together to keep him looking like a Westie!

Rude, unprofessional, and most of all unscrupulous. If you have anything remotely critical to say about your experience the owner, Cheryl, will harass and blame you, the customer, for your poor experience. As a small business owner, swallowing your pride comes before losing sales as you cannot afford to lose them. Receiving constructive criticism or any criticism for that matter is an opportunity to fix your business’s mistakes to ensure a better overall experience for the customer and keep them coming back. Clearly this owner doesn’t believe in any of that and takes no accountability for her or the actions of her employees—Just look at her responses to any of the other poor reviews and it is self-evident. Lastly, Cheryl, I hope you see this and I genuinely hope you change the attitude you have towards critical/unsatisfied customers. Fixing issues with those specific people can result in some of your most lucrative and loyal customers. It will also help your business be more viable long term by improving overall customer outlook on you and the business itself. Even if you feel a critical customer is wrong, swallowing your pride doesn’t cost anything while pride already has and will cost you multiple sales. Hopefully you take this as advice and not as a chance to reply with something unprofessional. Good luck with your future endeavors.

My dog always looks great and the price is very reasonable. I love how they don’t keep the dogs in crates as well!

Tried calling for a grooming and they told me they were two weeks booked. I told her I was going to try and look around and find a salon that could do it sooner but would call back if I didn't find anything. She proceeded to tell me to not bother calling back at all if I did that. Very strange and unprofessional. Response to owner's response: I absolutely did not misunderstand . Word for word she said "if you're going to do that then don't bother calling back." I don't know why you'd lie as if that would never happen because the entire reason I wrote the review was because of what she said. Take accountability, I'm not the first person in these reviews to be disregarded as if my experience isn't valid. Own up to your behavior.

Lovely place. They did an excellent job on my Australian Shepherd mix. Easy to get an appointment. Very reasonably priced. Staff was very nice. They will definitely become my regular groomer.

All my neighbors have raved about Sassy Dog- called and left a message. No call back and inquired a week later, owner was only interested in charging me $25 for new dogs today for services she has yet to preform!? As apposed to charging once services are completed. Regardless of the quantity of work done at this salon, it’s unprofessional and unrealistic to charge for services in advance, In my case, actual grooming services won’t take place for 2 weeks. Buyers beware……

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sassy Dogs! The pricing is so reasonable compared to other places, I sometimes feel guilty. I try and stay on top of scheduling my appointments, but If I have a conflict, they have always found a way to get my boys in (I have gone other places where the groomer has cancelled and then can't get me rescheduled for another month!). Never once has Sassy Dogs needed to change an appointment. But, MOST IMPORTANTLY, their grooming service - I just can't say enough. The cuts are amazing and my boys always smell so good! They are rescues and one has separation anxiety. As soon as we arrive, they bark to get in the door and then are greeted with so much love! I love that when they are waiting for their turn, they are allowed to walk around and play with the other dogs. It is wonderful for their socialization! There are usually at least 4 or more adults in the room so I have never worried about them freely roaming. There is an area in the center that can keep them contained if a pup needs some time to adjust or is nervous. At other places, I could hear my boys barking as soon as I walked in the door because they were done and waiting for me. When I picked them up today, neither one wanted to leave. They absolutely love it at Sassy Dogs - it is so nice to drop them off and know they are happy, loved, will look great and be ready for a nice long nap when they get home!!

The owner and staff of this business are very rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. We spent over $130 and multiple trips in less than two weeks to get a single haircut for our puppy. We were not mean and once we finally completed the transaction we left. Under normal circumstances that would have been it and this review would not get posted and we probably would not return to them as they are not capable of grooming our puppy. Even though they have groomed him in the past they said he was difficult and didn't like getting his feet trimmed. However, one of the employees who was not part of the transaction or involved with any grooming of our dog left a nasty voicemail on our phone calling us names and saying we should be thankful for getting a $10 discount on our $82 charge. Since she doesn't know the full story she doesn't know we were there less than two weeks prior spending $62 with a tip and not getting the service we paid for. In addition, the $10 discount was because she was late to the appointment. We went back to talk to the owner about her employees behavior and she did not care or seem interested in addressing how she or her employees treat their customers. She was more upset that we didn't leave an additional tip when we have already paid $130 and multiple trips. Needless to say we will not be going back and I encourage others to think twice before bringing their dog there. They seem quite incapable of managing their business as everything is pretty chaotic. The dogs roam free in the back when not getting groomed which may be concerning to dog owners. Edit due to owner response: There was no scene as we waited until all customers left before attempting to talk to you about your contractor's behavior. We never once asked for any money back so what would we be trying to intimidate you for? As you stated, "behavior training needs to come from the owner" and as the owner of your business you are absolutely responsible for the behavior of those representing your business. Hopefully you can find someone to provide your independent contractors customer relations training. While I apologized for my dog's behavior, which he is not even close to that at home, your response further validates this review as you still have no interest in apologizing or taking responsibility for the behavior of your contractors. You would rather blame a 1+ year old Aussiedoodle and myself for the reason your independent contractor decided to interject herself in our transaction and leave a nasty voicemail on our phone. Between my dog and your independent contractor I think we can agree on which one should have known better.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Cheryl and her staff at Sassy Dogs. I feel so lucky to have found them! We first started going when grooming was once again allowed, after being shut down from Covid. Cheryl promptly returned my message and took the time to answer all my questions, since I was changing groomers. She does not cage the dogs, and it is like they are being dropped off for a playdate! I have two rescues, a shih-poo and peekapoo. Every time, they are beautifully groomed. You can see the dogs in the room and those getting groomed - it is the cutest thing because they are all so happy! Thank you, Cheryl, for loving my boys and helping them to feel more comfortable and even cuter!!

Sassy dogs has groomed my baby for the third time now. Not only is my dog excited to enter the salon, which he was terrified in past salons, but he also looks great after being groomed. Im glad to have found a great local shop, with exceptional prices!

Sassy Dogs gave my pup the PERFECT trim! I asked for the beard to stay long and they did just that without compromising the rest of the haircut. A perfect place for doodles!

Have taken my little westie Louie to sassy dogs. She does a wonderful job, it's clear she loves what she does, spoils her clients, Louie plays while he is there,and has a marvelous time. I would strongly recommend Sassy Dogs.

I am not a fan of Sassy Dogs. The people are always rude at the place and on the phone they seriously need to learn how to respect their customers and understand when things come up that are out of the customers hands where they can’t make it to the appointment. If I could I would give this place 0 stars for the disrespect I always receive from this place.

They do an awesome job, and very affordable. However its really hard to get ahold of. The phone is often left off the hook for hours at a time.
