PetSuites Gahanna Columbus, Ohio

We moved to the Columbus area a few months ago. We chose PetSuites to groom our dog, based upon its location. After 3 appointments, we have decided not to use PetSuites' grooming services again. Neither my husband nor I ever felt welcomed at drop off or pick up. The staff wasn't friendly at all, especially at the last visit. Also, I don't like that we were asked to approve a tip, when paying by bank card, before inspecting our dog's haircut that took over 4 hours. We found another groomer that is located closer to our home. There are too many options around to deal with unhappy and inefficient workers. Edited 01.10.2022: I was very impressed with PetSuites doggy day care service, which I used over the weekend. The staff, with this interaction, was positive and I will definitely use this service again.

Love PetSuites! Great grooming services and daycare. They give you a report card and always keep you informed on how your dog does while there. Also very clean and follows guidelines

Sophie LOVES coming here to play and stay (despite her obvious aversion to the Grinch! LOL). The staff are always polite and helpful and are very respectful of my dog's shy nature. I would 100% recommend Gahanna PetSuites!!

Everything AND everyone were amazing

We love PetSuites! The staff is amazing and take such good care of our pup. Our pup is always so happy to go and he gets his play time in. The best part is knowing that they love our animals as their own. We wouldn’t want to have our pup just anywhere and know that this staff is awesome. We recently had an issue where the groomer found an infection, on our pups foot. She called to let’s us know and to tell us she won’t be able to cut his nails. We really appreciated the call and letting us know ahead of time. The fact she also decided not to cut his nails also gave us peace of mind. Peace of mind knowing that the groomer wouldn’t do something that may bother him. They offer day and over night boarding, all day play, grooming services for pups and even cat day care! They offer a variety of packages for the boarding which is nice. They have food their for your pup for a small price or you’ll have to pack your own, if they are there for day boarding/overnight boarding. 10/10 recommend.

Great staff, very friendly. Clean facility. My dogs love to play in daycare. They know my dogs by name and treat them like their own.

I've taken my dog here twice and my cats here twice as well. They've been very respectful and attentive and my dog, Goose, was unbelievably excited to come to board the last time she was there and she has a lot of anxiety especially with unfamiliar places so it really is a testiment to how well they take care of her. Will be coming back soon for sure! :)

Best daycare/boarding in Columbus PERIOD! They've taken care of my boy since he was a pup and now he's so well-rounded socially! When your animals are here they will be treated like family guaranteed !

This was my second time boarding my cat here. This time was very bad. I paid for the gold package which includes daily updates and photos. The first 2 days I had to text them to get any info. or photos. Upon arrival to pick up I noticed none of the items I packed for him were even put in the cat condo with him even though the staff took the bag from me and ensured the items would be placed in there. Last but not least I provided sinus medicine to be administered. When I got home I noticed it was gone... Not sure if they ever even gave him any, and since it wasn't in his bag I guess they lost it. $$$ down the drain. Bottom line I won't be back.

We use PetSuites for their doggy daycare and our dog loves it. It's super easy to make reservations online and so far I think the price is fair for the service. Everyone I've met has been helpful and answered my questions. This will definitely be my first choice for longer term boarding in the future. ????

I have had my dogs groomed at this location many times and was shocked to find my 3 year old havenese with completely shaved ears with no prior communication from the groomer. I haven’t had this experience in the past but the groomers comment was that my dog was not being cooperative so she decided to go to this extreme. I brush my dogs often and had not encountered matting prior to this - my other 2 havenese did have a good groom but this was decidedly a trauma to see. The puppy now looks like an alien. So sad to have this experience at a place that I had previously had so much faith in.

We don't board our dogs often, but when we do, we only go to PetSuites. Our dogs are always super nervous but the staff are just amazing. They have such great attitudes and are always willing to add an extra play time so our four-legged kids can have some fun. They even helped our shelter dog break out of his shell and play! They are great! I would recommend to anyone!

We dropped off 2 dogs for the day while we moved into a new house. Fantastic to find out first day of daycare was free. And they got great report cards!

During my pup Jaxsons stay i thought this place was great. The staff was friendly and I got my daily text messages that I paid for. However, upon pickup one of the first things I noticed was that my dog was sneezing quite a bit, which was odd because he never really sneezes. Picked him up on Sunday and by Tuesday his sneezing turned to coughing..and not just any kind of cough. It was deep and sounded painful for my dog. I soon got him into my vet and they confirmed it was kennel cough. I had been warned about kennel cough going through here sometime ago from a neighbor of mine, but I really wanted to utilize this place as a boarder, groomer and dog trainer for my pup so as reluctant as I was, I thought he would be okay as he is vaccinated and has been a healthy pup up until now, with no previous surprise vet visits. After the cost of this place and a vet bill because of it, I’d just be cautious when thinking about boarding here. I know kennel cough comes with the territory of boarding, I just wish I would have been told about his sneezing while I had him there and was receiving updates, rather than finding out on my own. I know there’s a lot of dogs and cats to take care while there but we as dog parents expect you to know differences in their health from when we drop them off to pickup, especially when my dog is being trained a couple times during that stay by the animal trainer.

Love the staff almost as much as my dog does. Both Day Play and boarding are excellent!!

Friendly staff, super professional group.

The facility was great. Clean and our pups looked great upon pickup. Only concern was that our one dog is super shy and we wished they tried to socialize him a little more. We just arent fans of kenneling our dogs- so while one was playing he was left alone. This made his experience not as great as his sisters.

Our dog Jim loves to play here. Staff is the best, treat him like their own.

I had an appointment here for memorial day weekend. I set it up 1 week before and after talking to someone on the phone. She asked me to send my vaccination papers. So I did. I called to make sure I was all set twice. Once I got there I was turned away since my dog didn't have the right vaccine paperwork. I have taken my dog to other places in the past year and had no issues with what vaccines she had. My problem isn't that I got turned away. But if they reviewed the document I sent beforehand and told me that she also needed other vaccines. I would have taken her to the vet to get her what she needs. but since I got turned away I did not have time to catch my flight and get her what she needed.

Pet Suites is great. I’ve used it for grooming. Friendly staff and my dogs had a great time and looked great. The reason for four stars is that Pet Suites is just like any other grooming service we’ve tried. Prices and service are comparable to petco and other groomers I’ve tried. There’s nothing really special about Pet Suites, so if you just want a standard and good haircut for your pups, sure i’d recommend Pet Suites, they do a good job. But i can’t say it’s different from any other place.

The service staff is caring, attentive and give much detail. Also my dog is super excited to be there which obviously means she is treated well back there.

Almost everything was great! My dog was well taken care of during his boarding and was exhausted from all the play time. But, when I dropped him off, I was asked if I wanted to get him bathed and his nails trimmed. I was not told this was an add on and thought it was a complimentary service they offered for their boarding guests. I was a little shocked to be charged $40 for a bath I could have done myself. I wish I would have known about the cost upfront.

Management should educate staff before setting an appointment making sure they educate the customer on all requirements are met prior to the day of the appointment. I have been bringing my dog there for years and is the third time I call and set an appointment and ask if they have everything on file and they say yes and when I get there, they tell me “it expired las week, we can’t take your dog” . Really bad customer service. If they would of told me when I set the appointment, I would have time to take my dog to the vet. Now I lost all morning to take the dog there and they tell me when I arrive. Never coming back or recommend to anyone.

The Staff is Friendly, Professional and Courteous. The Facility is nice, welcoming and accommodating. My Puppy loves going there to Play. He loves the Staff so much and I see positive changes in his behavior and well socialized going there.. It is the best thing I can do for my Fur Baby and his well-being. It is definitely money well spent.

For the safety of your dogs be careful taking your dogs here! My wife and I just picked up our dogs after a 10 day stay. During their stay we received a message from PetSuites telling us they had drop a bottle of our dogs medicine and broke it. They reached out to the vet and got a new bottle so it wasn’t a big deal. After I picked them up I noticed that there were too many pills left in the medicine bottle of my one dog’s medicine. I called to find out what happened. I was then told that they gave my other dog’s medicine to that dog by mistake for several days. The dog they gave the wrong medicine to was a lot smaller than the other one so the dosage levels they gave her were very dangerous. They offered to pay any vet bills but I find the whole situation ridiculous. Think twice before leaving your dogs with them.

The grooming service was super fast and my pup looks amazing!

Took both my dogs (mixed breeds, short hair, about 45-50 lbs each) here for a groom. First time I've used this facility. Both dogs are nervous, especially in new places around unfamiliar people. When I got them back, the groom seemed to be done well. But my older dog had been quite obviously agitated and he put a serious gash in the top of his nose trying to get out of a cage he was in during the process. If he hurt himself this badly, I'm surprised staff wasn't alerted to his distress. Staff also did not put his collar back on him, forcing me to return the following day just to pick it up. And worst of all, he has had diarrhea ever since his appointment - for five days now. Both dogs were fine prior to their groom. Overall, not a positive experience and I won't be going back.
