I have lived just over a mile away from here for 10+ years and always considered this place to be more of a spa for hair cuts and brushing. Our 2 French Bulldogs don't need much grooming and we've typically always cut their nails ourselves, but admittedly sometimes they are finicky and it can take some time. Today I stopped in to check on nail trims and learned those are just a $10 walk-in service. I came back a few hours later, and since they were in between appointments my dogs were serviced right away. They had both dogs' nails cut in just about 5 minutes total and did a great job! From this positive experience and good price I don't think I'll be wasting my time doing it myself anymore!

Many things wrong with with this place- the first and most important being how I witnessed their groomers manhandling the dogs being groomed. A woman was roughly brushing matted hair without pre- cutting it, and when the dog squirmed in pain, she roughly yanked on the fur attached to its face. My dog came home with the wrong hair cut- they completed shaved him! The worst part is he now flinches when I touch him unexpectedly, he randomly sits with his head bowed down and I think he just is having a hard time trusting people. Letme be clear- these behaviors all started the same day he came back from these groomers. I would not trust the health and safety of your dogs to these apathetic people!

We've been taking our dog here for grooming services for several years now, and always been very happy with the service and friendliness of the staff.

This is the second time we used Shampooch and they did a terrible job. The first time was good. We asked for a puppy cut with some hair on the nose, ears and tails, just like the first time they did her. So as they did her this second time they said she was matted and nearly shaved her. She was brought in the same condition we have always taken her in, for nearly 13 years. See pictures comparing the first time and the second time Shampooch cut her. They did not call us to discuss the change to the groooming plan. Her tail looks like a snake. She normally has 4 to 6 inches of hair on her tail. In 13 years of grooming this dog we have never had such a bad experience. Our little dog looks like a rat. Soooo disappointed.

This was my first time using shampooch. My dog Finn is a Bernedoodle puppy (10 mos). We received him overgrown. The folks at shampooch were really caring for Finn and did an excellent job getting him groomed properly. They took their time explaining to me what they did and and why. They took extra time to make sure Finn left the shop in excellent condition. Thank you very much

They required payment before showing me my dog. Which should have been a red flag. I brought in pictures to show what I liked and did not like in the face shape. Asked for blending of the skirt and clean tipped ears. They had not done the haircut requested. None of these three were executed. When I asked them to correct they said next time would be better as the dog would be more comfortable. They refused to correct the incorrect and incomplete groom. There will not be a next time if you can’t get it right the first time. $75 wasted I’ll have to pay another groomer to fix the bad groom. My dog has never had any issues with any other groomer. I was trying to find a convenient option close to home. They had a mix of positive and negative reviews. My friend has used them to shave down her dog for summer. I do not recommend if you want something other than shaving entirely.

I had been taking my dog here for several years with no issues. When I took her there a couple months ago they called me right back and said they could not groom her safely so I took her somewhere else. Today, I took my grand dog there for grooming and once again they called back to have the dog picked up. They said the dog was too matted to shave and go somewhere else. My grand dog, a golden doodle, was way more matted the last time I had brought her here. I’m guessing this business only wants to care for animals that need little effort to groom these days. I’m very disappointed to have to write this review.

I am honestly amazed! I took my dog Nala in and she came out a brand new dog!! The above and beyond experience started when I was on the phone! The man was super sweet and extremely helpful, then when I went in it became better. My dog is seven years old and had 2 ACL tears. They treated her with kindness and you could tell they really cared! When I went to go pick her up she was the most ecstatic that I have ever seen her at! They did such a great job!! If you are in the area I highly recommend taking your dog there! Thank you so much Shampooch for bringing my dog back to life!

If your dog needs special care, keep googling. If you actually want to keep an appointment time the staff helped organize, keep googling. If you want to pay a reasonable amount for a haircut they agree to give, keep googling. But if you're okay with a dog in a kennel all day, discussing the haircut EVERY time and then pick up your dog with something entirely different, paying $90 each visit, and if you never have a dog ailment that needs to be accomodated... this place is for you!

They did an AMAZING job on my puppy Zeke!!! He is Pomeranian and during quarantine his hair was out of control. I told them how I wanted him to look and they did it to a tee! They also got him in very fast! THANK YOU and Zeke thanks you❤️

Asked for “a little off the body” and they trimmed my dogs hairs down over half what was grown. My dog has beautiful wavy hair that takes time to grow. I DID NOT want a short cut. I am incredibly upset as it is not AT ALL what I asked for. When I called to speak with someone the manager told me there was no way more than an inch of hair was taken off. I’m not a dog groomer but I know how much hair my dog had. Incredibly upset with the cut and the subpar customer service. Paid $85 just to not be able to take my dog in public.

We have a 5 month old lab that just needed a bath. I have never been to a groomer before, but I will say our dog smells really good and his black coat is very shiney &his nails look really good...

Shampooch always does a good job! My only complaint is that the time it takes for my dog to get groomed is never consistent and they don't always remember to call and let me know when he is finished.

Stopped using my old groomer, because they weren't getting my dogs clean and they were kinda stinky when picked them up. Shampooch is family owned and operated my pups fell in love with the groomers and we're not trying to pull me out the door when I picked them up. I could tell that my pups had a truly wonderful experience. I'm very happy mommy????
