We adopted a kitten. Their facility is very modest and a bit run down, but you can tell that they give there time and funds to the animals. Consider donating if you looking for a worthy organization.

Thank you. Thank you for all that you all do everyday. You gave me 14 wonderful years with my boy Dawson, for that I am forever grateful for all that you do. This adoption center cares so much for animals. Looking forward to finding my next companion here.

I can’t believe nearly 3 years have passed and I’ve never written a review. Thank you all so very much for both of the dogs I’ve rescued from you, and for your amazing service! Happy holidays!

We adopted one of our best dogs we have had from PWP over 10 years ago. Today we adopted another puppy from them. They are easier to work with than some rescue groups and the adoption fees are more reasonable as well. Their facility is an old house and shows it's age. The animals are all extremely well cared for. The staff were all just as nice and understanding as when we adopted our last dog from them. They obviously run a very lean operation and love every animal so I would recommend anyone looking for an animal or wanting to help a good organization to please consider Pets Without Parents.

They really care about their animals, and the adoption process is actually pretty easy. Photo attached is my kitty Lucipurr meeting his new sister from PWP, Anchovy.

I helped take a local non-driver cat lover friend to Pets Without Parents to adopt a cat named Kangaroo. She loves her cat so much, treats the cat like a princess, and the staff there were so kind to work with.

Spoke with the office manager on Saturday 03/02/2021 at 2:00pm face to face and I felt like I was talking to a child with mental issues. The worst experience! She is in the wrong line of business.and they’re dogs are grouped in cages which are already small.

Employee was kind and helpful. You must fill in an application before visiting the location or else you cannot enter the store.

I walked into what looked like an abandoned house that reeked of cat urine. The staff member working couldn't have cared less that we were there and seemed bothered that I had greeted her. When I asked about one of the 3 dogs in their care she yelled up the stairs to someone else for the answer before acknowledging me. I left because the odor was making me sick and I felt very uncomfortable having received such horrendous service. I was concerned that they were keeping animals in such a place. In addition the dog I had found on their website and wanted to see wasn't there. When I asked, the employee, or volunteer, didn't even bother to look at me the simply shouted that he wasn't there and kept on about her business. Do they even care about the welfare of their animals? Or potential adoptive pet parents?

Out of all the shelters I worked with to find a kitten (about four), PWP was the best. Very efficient process and great service. Highly recommend if you’re looking to adopt!

Hey there, I have a Beagle not even a year yet who is ready to come there. I found him caught up in my fence and cut him down and gave him a home but he recently got to excited playing and nipped my wife and she doesn't want to take a chance of him getting the babies when to excited. He is a wonderful dog so much character so so so much he's happy and seems to love the ladies! SixOnefour 2Zero7foursix4three

sent in my application a month ago and apparently no one ther read it cuz finally today I was told I'm unable to get the dog because of my 2 children which I clearly put in my application. I understand its volunteer work but that wasnt a pleasant experience. Good Luck with your own process

Never returned my emails or phone calls regarding my application for a dog supposedly needing a home. Finally gave up after two weeks, they must not have the right dog for me or my partner.

I had a horrible experience. when i called thus place, trying to rehome my dog, because he was being destructive. The woman was rude and arogant. I asked if they were accepting animals at thus time, she asked where i got him from and i told her cleveland a few months ago. She straight up told me to take him back to cleveland where i got him. Even though i live in columbus. I told her the measures we have taken with his anxiety issues and destructive behavior. Calming pills, thunder shirt, training. But he was still anxious. The woman asked where he was trained. I told her K9 national. Which we absolutely loved the way the trainers helped our dog and helped us (they were very kind and caring with our dog, and helped with a number of his issues, as well as showed us eveey technque they used for training). The woman proceeded to blame us as pet parents for our dogs behavior, and told us that we were abusive to our dog for taking him to that training center, because they use choke collars. And that thus center does not use positive reinforcement training. When i attempted to explain our experience and thier methods at the training center, she berated me even more and said that we need to deal with his anxiety because we made it worse by sending him to K9 national and then hung up on me. She talked to me like a was two years old. She did not know anything about the training center except that they use choke chains, and was convinced that my dog was being abused. With the little bit of information she had. I never asked for her advice, i asked if they were able to rehome my dog. I would not recommend thus place to anyone. I found it extremely unprofessional the way i was talked to. I am keeping my dog, and we will continue to use the training technques we learned at K9 national (which are not in anyway abusive to our animal).

**update*** jan 17, 2018*** I love my best friend. My first dog ever. I've had him now for over three years. He's changed my life and i want to thank pets without parents for making this possible. I did not rescue my dog, he rescued me. ***** I saw a beagle on there website that I really liked. My dad and I made the 20 minute trip out to meet the puppy. He was cute as can be, relaxed, and was just perfect. The caretakers were clearly animal lovers. You could tell that they loved every animal there. So I felt like this was a safe choice. We filled out their application, and waited a few days. I decided to call them because I was too anxious. They told me they couldn't get ahold of one of my references (my older brother..) which is typical because he doesn't have a voicemail set up and he doesn't pick up calls I gave him a call and told him to call the rescue back! He made the call and about 15 minutes later they called me back letting me know I can come in and pick up MY puppy. I've had him now for almost 3 months and he is a bundle of joy, and extremely energetic!! I want to thank Pets without Parents because Robin, my puppy, has brought so much joy into my life. He means the world to me. THANK YOU VERY MUCH —- Update: 10/06/2020 Love my baby best dog ever. Thank you forever

Went there looking for a pup with my work buddies. The girl that was there was very helpful and explained us about the pets. They did have more cats than dogs. I wanted to adopt a dog and didn’t find suitable pet to adopt. I much recommend this place.

Just had a great experience adopting a wonderful Chihuahua from pets without parents. You could tell how much the dog loved the staff and how much the staff cared for her.

If I could give a half star I would. Got the run around for three weeks on my application. The only way anything got done is I called ao much I annoyed them. Ultimately the day of the meet and greet I was called by the foster parent and they told us they were keeping the dog. My whole family was really excited for nothing.
