Absolutely love this place. They are quick, professional and personal. They are honest with people about their dogs behavior and offer ideas to better serve them in the future if the dog is too anxious.

It's so hard to get an appointment here. I've called so many times and my partner sent a message and no reply. I got a call back 1 week later. I even have the call logs. I wish there was a better system for setting an appointment.

We were recently "kicked out" of our go to groomer in a national pet store chain because my grumpy senior shih tzu had become too difficult to work with. The head groomer at The Grooming Spot was a saving grace. She was fantastic with our pup and knew exactly what he needed. She was very up front about our expectations of a "super stylish" hair cut because of his age and aggressiveness but he left clean, comfortable, and happy! She was able to get all of his eye tangles that previous groomers had to leave so we are so grateful! I will second some other's comments that the head groomer seemed to be the only friendly, customer service oriented person working there but the groomers get the job done. ????

The owner was nice to work with however the dark haired woman with the under cut is very rude and unprofessional. I had a very bad experience with her trying to cut my dogs nails to the point that I had to tell her to stop. I called after to speak with owner but never heard back. I would not recommend taking pet there if she is working

I have been taking my pup here for the past 2-2.5 years and they are the BEST! Super professional, kind, and do an all around great job. My pup isn’t the easiest to manage, however the team handles him with ease. Cannot recommend Grooming Spot enough!

New to town so I needed to find a new groomer for my dog, I was worried at first because he gets really anxious and does not like being groomed and was so used to his old groomers. I found grooming spot since it is very close to me and expressed his anxiety to the staff at his first apmt. They do wonderful with Kobe and do their best since I know my dog can be a handful. Kobe always looks so fresh, I'm real pleased!

Took her for a nail trim it didn’t take long and when she came back out with her the tech said she nicked her a little but when I got home I saw that there was some blood streaks on the floor and I look and she had a bloody paw and put some dog super glue on it to get it to stop bleeding....it was more than a little nick.

I chose this groomer because their prices were great and they had good reviews. They did not meet my expectations. I specifically asked for my puppy to be cut a certain way and they simply ignored it and did something else completely different. They were very rude and complained about my MONTHS old puppy’s behavior in one of his first grooming sessions and they told me they had to use 2 associates to hold him down. My puppy is 5lbs. They cut his fur SO short he was shivering for 2 days after the experience. I gave a good tip before I saw my puppys tragic haircut. Once they saw I tipped them well their rude attitudes changed, but my opinion of them was already solidified. I will not be returning.

Friendly people..love the great service

I drove around to at least 3 places and called 10 places before coming across the grooming spot. It was hard for me to take my dog Lila to just any place, moving from out of state this was really important to me. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt comfortable with what they have to offer. Pricing is fair, the staff is friendly and professional and this felt like home! I went to another place that was $10 less, however, from the moment I walked in I felt like I was a bother and it was not super clean. Prices at the grooming spot are very comparable to surrounding groomers but I would 10000% recommend them to anyone over the other places I visited! Thanks for taking great care and giving my Lila a very quality and affordable cut! :)

My cat has grown chunkier over the years and it's been getting to the point where she is struggling to groom her back and the area under and around her tail. The matts on her back were getting super bad and I knew that I needed a professional to take care of them but its hard to find a groomer that takes cats. Luckily, the grooming spot does and I was pleasantly surprised with the service! One lady sat down with me in the front lobby and asked what she needed done and I said "she doesn't need to be pretty, I just want her to be healthy". We decided on the basic cat groom and brushout and (hopefully) a bath if she would put up with it. I was half expecting her to come out shaved from her neck down due to the state of the matting on her back so I was very happy when she came out soft, matt-less, smelling great, and with just the area under her tail shaved short and clean. Her ears are clean, and nails, face and paws nicely trimmed. She definitely seems a lot happier and the price ended up being much more agreeable than I had originally thought it would be (about $100 including tip). The service did take a little longer than expected (about 3 hours) but it is a very busy small business so I wasn't too surprised! I'm always happy to support our local grandview businesses as you should too! Definitely recommend to anyone who has a cat that needs a good grooming.

Our granddog AKA granddoodle had his first groom here but this is not my first experience with groomers. I had a shih tzu for 13 years. I was very pleased. They took longer than anticipated but that's okay. They explained that they work with the dog helping it through fears and anxiety. That shows me they care about my granddoodle. Our granddoodle looks great. Before seeing him the groomer reminded us that this was his first time and that it wouldn't be perfect. I was surprised. He is absolutely adorable. Finally I want to address the couple negative reviews. I know reviews are everything to a small business. Our experience was nothing like what was described. In fact it was completely the opposite. I realize that everyone may have a bad day from time to time including those leaving reviews. With that being said I encourage anyone reading this review to give this a chance. They really go above and beyond to provide a great experience for you and your beloved pet. Thank you Grooming Spot!

Such an amazing experience with the Grooming Spot! I took my lab retriever here for a basic groom, and added the de-shed package. They did AMAZING, he feels so good and the staff was incredibly professional and polite. I highly recommend them, great prices and great staff!

This place was fantastic. I had been calling around trying to get my dog in to someone on the same day. These guys made room for us an hour after I called. It was my dogs first time being groomed and they did an incredible job on him. They’re so good, they even asked me how much I could afford to spend, since he had some matting and they weren’t sure they could get them all out without shaving him. They kept me under budget and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Won’t take my dog anywhere but here. Thank you!

Took our long hair cat in for a wash and haircut. They did an awesome job and were able to get off all the matted spots she had. If you have a long hair pet that sheds everywhere, they have a brush out service to help remove all the loose fur. Super nice staff and the price was great!

Best nail trim on my reluctant bassets in a good while. Came home smelling great after bath with super clean ears! Very pleased ????

Staff is extremely rude and unfriendly. We have been coming here for a couple months and today was the last straw. There is always such an attitude when speaking to the staff (not all but a good majority). Our dog was rescued from China and personally feel like they could care less about him. The way they speak and handle their customers is the worst I have seen. On top of that, they offer free toothbrushing for a year if you write a good review about them, so of course every review you see is good. If I can advise you anything, give your money to a groomer who appreciates your animal and respects you as a customer, because this salon absolutely does not.
