Definitely not a chain. Old school vet with lots of experience. I cannot say enough good things. Cannot imagine taking my dog somewhere else.

I didn't appreciate the demeanor of one of their employees as he said "you can go now" about 5 times while I watched them transfer my cat into his cage with way too much force. It was a very stressful experience. Got my cat neutered which seems to have worked. I don't think I'll be back, though.

We have used Dr. Kooner for approx. 25 years and will NEVER go anywhere else. Before Dr. Kooner, we would take our sick Westie (we've had 3) to another vet and was always told that 'we need to buy this or that' and one time we were told 'that she needed surgery'. After that last visit, we went to see Dr. Kooner and told him that the other vet recommended surgery. After examining our Westie, Puff-Puff, he said 'she doesn't need surgery, she'll heal on her own'. He will spend as much time with you and your pet as needed, and never pushes you out the door for the next patient, and never pushes 'unwanted and unnecessary products on you. 'NEVER WENT TO ANYONE ELSE AGAIN......

I really like this Vet Clinic. They have weekend and evening hours and low cost care. Very friendly clientele.

Such a great team.. I wouldn't trust my dogs with any other doctor. He does what they need and not the extra that bigger vets try to get you to do. He's affordable and they're kind with your animals. 5 out of 5 everytime.

Marie, the groomer was so sweet. This was my 1st time I had her groom my dog, Scruffy & she was right on with his grooming ???? she also trimmed my pug's nails, great job Marie! When I take my dogs to see Dr. K he is so gentle with my fur babies. He makes me feel like my dogs are the Best! We love you Dr. K ❤

I had to euthanize my 14 year old cat, my best friend. It was a pretty impersonal and not at all a remotely good expirence (i mean it was already horrible and sad, cause letting go is awful) I wasnt walked through the process, no words of sympathy...no real words at all, awkward atmosphere, my cats vein was ruptured by a too large needle, hopefully the sedation kept her from feeling that pain, but they used the rupture vein to give her a second dose. It was a traumatic expirence in an already trauamtic state. When losing a family member, I expect empathy. It all felt cold and impersonal. I felt like I paid to torture my cat instead of peacefully lay them to rest.

Took my new little feral kitten in and they were able to see us same day. Labs were done quickly and we were in and out quickly. I was fortunately able to go in with her.

Dr. Kooner is awful. Please do not take your pets to him.

No clue how this place has managed to get good reviews. The facility is sketchy, the staff was rude and seemed unknowledgable. My dog had severe vomiting and the assistant moaned and groaned about cleaning it up then the doctor compared my dog to an old broken down car.

Dr. Kooner has provided nearly two decades of pet care for me. I happened upon his Driving Park Clinic when I lived downtown and now utilize his Flint Clinic. Highly recommend!

They are great. I needed to get my 2 cats an appointment right away and they were able to get me in right away. They were great with my girls.

Dr. Kooner and the staff is very friendly. He takes time with each of his furry patients and give us different options which would be always favorable for our pets. It is easy to take appointments here and the place is clean and always welcoming.

My Husky puppy was well taken care of. They're fantastic.

Dr Koona is amazing, very caring and gentle with the pets. Aubrey is does a wonderful job assisting and keeping me calm with how worried I am. I highly recommend this veterinarian for you pets needs

They have been outstanding. We lost our dog of 10 years and they were so kind to help us at the last minute and thur the sad process. Since then, they have seen our other dogs. We are very happy. We have also used the groomer and she was wonderful.

Friendly service, even though the building is a bit old, but the doctor is very nice and responsive.

Would highly recommend Flint Animal Hospital. Dr Kooner and his staff are great and it shows that they care about what they do. They always discuss with you what options you have and are not pushy. I have also had my dog boarded here and would also recommend. All of their services are reasonably priced.
