Had a great experience with taking my cat in. Staff was super friendly. We were in and out pretty quick. So at first review the visit went well. The second visit was awful. I would not take cat there for any surgery. The room smelled and seemed it had not been cleaned. Update- I took my cat in for teeth cleaning and ended up spending the night at the OSU animal hospital. Leo was scheduled for teeth cleaning in the morning and they didn’t perform until late afternoon. No x-rays were done. When I went to pick up my cat Leo at nearly the closing time he was not doing well because the antiseptic had not worn off. He ended up having an infection.

They got my dog in quickly and the staff was very friendly. I am going to try them for grooming and hope to have found a very close vet for my four legged buddy.

I have been with animal care center of polaris for 3 years now. I have stuck with them as they are in a convenient location me. I would not reccomend this vet due to extremely poor record keeping. They never know what vaccination is due for my animals. Its extremely worrisome because that can be dangerous if they do not have the right vaccines. They also are just disorganized with their medical program they have. I highly reccomend finding another vet. My friend and I are both leaving today.

Took my dog today for a groom and she already looks like she needs another, I said I had wanted her hair as short as possible and it is still long and very patchy/uneven, I had to trim her face/beard when I got home.

We moved to Columbus a year ago. Because if COVID we couldn’t go in and see the vet with our animals. Our sweet kitty who has never ever tried to bite anyone tried to bite the vet. They had to sedate her to do an exam. I just thought it was the stress of the move and new surroundings. I should have taken the hint from kitty and switched vets right them. But I didn’t. Now two weeks ago I called them on a Wednesday asking for a Thursday appointment so they could help my kitty cross the rainbow bridge peacefully (kitty was telling us it was time). I was told we’d have to wait until Monday. Seriously!! I have a 15 year old kitty who stopped eating and would take very little water and they want us to wait. Even if she would make it to Monday she would have been in pain. They were not nice on the phone when I begged for an appointment so kitty wouldn’t suffer. The girl was like “we have nothing available and won’t squeeze you in, do you want the Monday appointment or not”. Who says that to someone. So I called another vet Healthy Pets if Lewis Center and they were amazing. They got us in first thing in the morning. Very caring and compassionate. I will be using them from now on instead of animal care center.

We brought our two small dogs here to be groomed for the first time by this particular groomer. We typically go to their sister location in Gahanna but their groomer was on leave. It might have been our fault for not specifying what we wanted but we definitely did not get the same treatment. Our two little dogs were buzzed with a guard and no bath ($50 x 2 + tip)... Live and learn. Overall, they look fine and seemed to have been cared for.

No one is perfect, but ACCP comes pretty darn close. I volunteer for a local rescue fostering puppies, and that's how I found out about them. I was so impressed, I transferred my own dog into their care. Vet techs and front desk folks are friendly and efficient, and the vets are thorough. Wait times on the phone are sometimes too long, but that's my only complaint and it's a small one in comparison to all they do right.

I used to work here and I definitely don’t recommend it. This hospital has low standards and the professionalism is lacking. The kennel side is poorly maintained and the dogs sleep on concrete slabs, most of them don’t even have blankets. The turnover is insane in that area so don’t expect the best care. If that isn’t bad enough the staff cares more about the weekend off then their actual jobs, you can tell it’s just a “job” to them. The manger has even offered me alcohol while on the job which is crazy to me. Ever since the head doctor was kicked out 2 years ago it’s gone downhill. There are much better options in the north Columbus area

This is one experience so take it as you will. First off we had a plan for one of our dogs. After a year we decided to cancel it due to not really utilizing it that much. Also when we did they never gave us our discounts or knew we had a plan until we asked each time. After canceling I was still changed for the following 4 months. After I called to see if I just didn't cancel it correctly, no one at the front desk knew? I had to call a manager at a different store to assist me. When I let her know I was still charged she asked for my bank statements, which I provided via email. waiting another week no response, called back manager not there, will leave a note they said. Waiting an additional week no response. Finally after 3 follow up emails and 2 phone calls they said they would refund me the balance. Second problem. fool once shame on me fool me twice shame on you. my dog is squeamish when it comes to nails so I figured instead of going to a new vet I would just go back for nail trim. Called the Vet they said she would need a rabies shot before they can do the nail trim around $38. I said that's not a problem so we set up the appointment. When I arrived at the appointment they said " o well she will also need a full checkup before a nail trim or rabies can be given"....... excuse me? why was this not told to me when I made the original appointment? So now you want to charge me an extra $75ish that was not disclosed originally? Anyways, all in all I feel there are plenty of Vet's out there this one is terrible managed, no one seems to know procedures or even how to end a monthly billing. I would suggest going somewhere else.

We have been bringing our dog here for over 2 years. He loves visiting here and we have always had wonderful interactions with the staff.

I joined memberships for my cats there. The flea & tick prevention came with both memberships. When it was time to get more of it, I called & spoke to someone letting them know I was ready to come pick more up. She had to look to see which one came with my memberships but didn't seem sure as to which one, so she said she'd have to call me back & let me know which one & when it would be ready to come pick up. I received the call back to say it was ready several days later. When I went to pick it up I made sure to verify again that this was the one that came with my memberships, since they didn't seem sure on the phone the first time & especially since it wasn't the same treatment I had received at our first visit. She assured me this was what came with the memberships & our receipt even reflected that it was covered by the memberships, so I took both treatments & thought nothing more of it. When my next auto payment for the memberships came due, I noticed that I was being charged $50 more than usual. I called & asked what was going on. They had to get back to me a couple of different times before finally saying that it's what I paid for my memberships. Uhhhh, no, it wasn't. I had to actually ASK to speak to a manager since she kept insisting I was paying what I should be & acted as if what she was telling me was the final "say". After speaking to the manager, she explained to me that the treatments I was given were an upgrade. I let her know that I had only asked for what came with my memberships. She assured me that it would be "looked into". Apparently, it wasn't. A few auto payments later, I'm still being charged $50 more than the memberships I originally joined with no sign of a refund on the extra charges. I contacted them again, asking to have a manager call me back about this. It's been a month & 1/2 & no one has contacted me. I've been trying to get this resolved since November. And as if that wasn't bad enough, twice I had dropped my cats off where one of them (who was prone to getting car sick) got sick in the carrier on the way over & they left the puke in the carrier & put the clean cats back in the dirty carrier & gave them back to us that way. You would think they would take the extra step to clean it up so that it didn't make them washing the cats completely pointless. I'll add that, as other reviewers have stated, I had also experienced a couple of really long waits, one with them asking me to drop my cats off after I had already waited a long time in my car. I also experienced a lot of attitude a few different times when communicating with them for appts & phone calls. What makes all this worse is that both cats were VERY high strung & overly curious & had gotten out of the house back in the fall. We haven't seen them since & we have a highway as well as another busy street near us. We fear that they've been run over. :( I didn't expect the Animal Center to tell us we didn't have to pay the rest of our memberships, seeing as our cats not being with us any longer is not their fault, but you would think they'd at least make sure they're not overcharging me. Due to all the negative experiences I've had with them, I will NEVER go there again, nor will I recommend them to anyone I know.

Great place, would recommend to everyone. The daycare and boarding are awesome, as well as their vet service. They are easy to schedule with and super friendly. I have tried other daycares previously that were not too great for my dog and I. However, this place is amazing. Nothing but good things to say about it

I never thought I'd receive such thoughtful and complete care during a time when we were all quarantined and I couldn't even accompany my kitty during her appointment. I was hesitant and nervous about her appointment since she I knew something was wrong, and I just wanted to be with her, but the staff at ACC of Polaris gave me complete peace of mind by communicating with me frequently and thoroughly. The care we received was beyond what I expected! Thank you!

This place is a SCAM. They quote anywhere from 0-400$ “depending on what they find” when getting your dogs teeth cleaned. May I mention that price is AFTER the monthly plan that is suppose to save you money, until they nickel and dime you once you’ve already committed with two credit cards on file! ABSOLUTE SCAM!!!!

The overall experience was great. Staff was very friendly and our newly adopted dog, Joey, seemed to be comfortable returning the office. Our visit was a little different because it was during the Covid-19 pandemic, the staff followed all guidelines/mandates, all the while making it a personable and safe visit.

The staff at ACCP was truly amazing. Our 14 yr old dog got acutely sick over the weekend, our primary vet refused to see her and suggested we take her to medvet. We called ACCP and they were willing to see her same day as a walk in appointment. After some lab draws, IV hydration and nausea medications we were able to take her home while we waited for results. Lab results came back today suggested organ failure. Dr. Aona and staff were there to help us with end of life care, they were wonderful and talked us through every step of the process.

My wife scheduled an appointment for my puppy 2 days in advance, and when the day came I showed up 10 minutes early to the appointment. I called so that I could check in and nobody answered. I called again and when someone answered she put me on hold. After being on hold for about 10 minutes the phone call hangs up. I call again and finally check my puppy in but the girl tells me that there will be a wait of 2 hours, so I could just drop my puppy off. Which I agree to since I drove 30 minutes to get there. I'm sitting there waiting and I see employees coming in and out and helping other customers, 3 to be exact, so I'm assuming that they're going to come take my puppy. 20 minutes pass so I call them and say that I'm waiting for someone to come get my puppy and the girl says with an attitude "the 2 hour wait includes waiting for us to get your dog" which is something that she didn't tell me before and had me wasting my time. How do you have time to assist 3 other customers but you don't have time to take my dog? At that point I just rescheduled for the next day but I'm definitely not going back. They've also treated my wife unfairly so this was the last time we come here.

I have had nothing but excellent service and care for my puppy, Sebastian from day one. Sebastian likes everyone there as well. This means a lot to me to know that Sebastian feels comfortable with each staff member. Each time Sebastian has an appointment, there is never a long wait to be seen by the doctor. The doctors are very attentive and takes the time to listen and address any and all of my concerns I might have. The cost is reasonable and the staff works with me and lets me know upfront the cost of visits and any other additional fees, if any, when necessary. I am a satisfied customer and will continue to take Sebastian to the Animal Care Center for all his health needs. Sincerely, GG Happy n Ohio

Got a new puppy as a surprise so wasnt exactly ready for a vet bill. But the workers walked me through a plan that would make sure my puppy is healthy and I could afford it! Me, my daughter and puppers was happy with it all!
